前言:如果你要问我去越南有什么建议,那我就只告诉你一句:打死都不要春节去越南!当然,前提是你跟我一样希望穷游越南还想比较舒适享受下北方冬季,而南方热烈的阳光沙滩;要是您真要打死我,那我肯定选择去越南,即便这个时节简直让人抓狂。如果您说自己就是大爷,有的就是钱,那没问,在哪钱都可以解决一切问。所以,我出错误的前提是我没有做好功课,我参考的攻略都不是春节版本的,周围曾经去越南的人也不是春节去的,所以去了才明白,如果要当冤大头或者二傻,那也最好当个有技术含量的,我属于没有技术含量的二傻,据说网络上大把资料,我愣是因为走前工作上学等等缘由,加之自己懒惰,没有仔细调查,更恶心的是基本英语盲的我决然带着完全英语盲的老老小小去越南折腾,就此批评自己250遍!痛斥自己抱着两年前做的攻略当这世间不会变化,就此鄙视自己250遍!在群众批评加自我批评之后我就此开始解说so crazy的越南之行。 留待编辑1.一只渔船正要离开北仑桥边·芒街2.下龙湾溶洞里蓝色的灯光3.河内总统府一撇4.初一早上的还剑湖5.河内圣约瑟教堂6.顺化香江边闲坐的与走过大桥的越南人顺化街头绘画7.早晨走过香河的越南人8.惆怅的皇城10.美山遗迹里的残像11.一个有点嬉皮的女子走过美山遗址,她的衣着很有希腊古风。遗址里一只彩色蜥蜴在草丛里警觉地凝视着我,我们这些游客闯入了它的家。12.会安古城画店的一角13.大勒艳阳下的鲜花15,前往美奈途中,天空绚烂的光线16.如同电影场景一般的美奈海滩17。被称为小科罗拉多的精灵峡谷18。惊叹红沙清溪的游人们19.美奈渔村,一个坐在摩托车后面的孩子。在越南,摩托车是最方便的交通工具。20.红峡谷里干枯的植物21。临近傍晚美奈的白沙丘24。美奈早晨收网的渔民们25.26.胡志明市政厅,有人说这是个很像蛋糕的华丽建筑。27.午后,一个西方人走过西贡歌剧院,如果不是越南国旗,会以为这是欧洲某处28.越南最大的邮政局,也是建造最长时间的邮政局,这个穹顶让很多人慕名前来29.一个人走过斜阳下的西贡圣母大教堂。30.越南信奉天主教的人口很多,在东南亚信教人数比例位居第二。32.西贡街头开朗的学生们33.湄公河一处悠闲的吊床34.湄公河上撑船的女人1. 广西 春节北方飞南宁的机票基本没折扣,所以要提前订,不然价格还是很咋舌。证可以提前交给南宁赵书店(电话:13307714232)办理,证费300,收手续费30一本。这个是朋友介绍的,只要先把护照寄给他,等去了南宁再一手交钱一手拿护照。2.9日抵达南宁的时候,地面温度31,与本地0度左右简直相差太远,直接的感觉就是穿太多,即使我们出发之前已经将服装减少到基本。南宁,这个城市我分外想念它的老友粉,酸菜那种酸酸略带点臭味的汤粉味,甚至立刻口水就涌了上来。记忆里曾经住过的地方离市中心很近,离中山路很近,所以跟小叶子要了以前住过的招待所的电话,住下来才发现,对面新开了一个快捷酒店,可以住得更舒服,好在只是一个晚上,也就罢了。为此,我被家人鄙视了好久。当然,我又因为多次记错方向让我的双皮奶之旅推延了很久,当然最终我还是如愿以偿吃到老友粉和双皮奶,只是再次证明期望越大失望越大,我渴望的老友粉味道似乎淡很多,哎,哎,哎~~~~~~~~~有点厉害吧,我一下吃了两碗,还把家人的其他甜点也抓来吃了。中山路小吃一条街真是好地方,泡菜泡水果都还在,就是买凉茶的没看见了。欧记烤鱼没有了,听小叶子说这里曾经失火过,后来有几家老店就没在这边做了。2.10如果想要一天就从南宁抵达下龙湾,那么你得早点起床,或者等待一个越南境内道路畅通的日子。早上南宁街头的卷粉摊老友粉店都是老式的操作方式,门口买牌子,把自己的牌子放在里面一块刻着数字的木板上排号,听见叫就去自取。早晨,取得护照的时候已经是九点多了,十点从南宁出发到东兴,这段路程需要三个小时左右,之后,下车站有很多小小的外观如同我们这边观光游览车一样的小车可以载客到关口,一人两元。南宁车站的人流还不是特别多,比起07年春节那次,显然我提前几天走好多了,还不是人流最高峰。选择从东兴走时因为看地图不想绕路,如此而已。不过当时如果选择凭祥或许就不会显得出门不利了吧。 到东兴已经过了午饭时间,一下长途车就有很多外貌像汽车其实三轮的,又是长条板凳的车子可以拉你去海关。本准备在这里吃点什么,拉客的人说,那边也有吃的。好吧,早过关。(3元一个人,我们一家10元做小车拉到关口。)东兴过关的时候居然还要买票,10元一个人!简直让我咂舌,怎么国人也搞这套,我以为只有越南索贿,没想到这里海关还收费!没听说其他关口有收这个费用的。所以,当越南海关人员以我们没有健康证为由索取钱财的时候,我开始公然还价,从友谊关过,据说不会有这样的事情吧,因为听说早就取消了健康证这个说法了。最后以100元4个人的代价进行下一步,继续,到第四步验行李的时候,因为我们没有把钱分开放,又说我们带的钱超过限额,索要我们两百元,这回我坚决不给,那个海关假装听不懂中文或者英文,反正我几乎吵架,就是不给,无奈之下,那个海关人员放我们过关,社会主义国家啊!据说朝鲜也是如此,在接受经济冲击的时候,人常常就变得无耻了,我很庆幸自己还没有无耻,虽然我也很想有钱。越南入境表上三联,都必须填好,交给越南海关后,退回一联,要保存好,等回国出境时要查看,据说弄丢要被罚款!我们回国飞机就收回去了!过关,过来之前,听说芒街到下龙湾的路在修,原本五小时的山路,现在要多花一倍的时间,按我们过去两点,最快到下龙也要十点,不如选客轮,又一次打乱我的计划,当初做攻略,根本没有查到轮船的信息,只是知道船票是车票的五倍,太恐怖了,鉴于小丫晕车,还是选择客轮比较好。出来,没有要关口的摩托,想寻找个地方吃午餐,没料到这个时间过关基本没游客,也居然没有吃的,直到在TRAN PHU ST.找到一家面包店,询问邮局对面换汇的情况,老板立刻说:“你们看书的吧!已经过时啦,你们到旁边巷子里的市场里,全市是换汇的,你们跟她们说中国钱换越南钱,她们听得懂。往里走一些,到里面换,不要背大包了,不然一看你们就是旅行的。”根据老板的提示,很容易就找到这个市场,看着几排密密麻麻坐在矮炕上的女人们,守着一个钱箱,有的先进点的有验钞机,面前都是一打一打的钞票,场面相当地雷人,仿佛内地菜市场,区别是这里是换汇,内地是买菜。当然,我们换汇还是比边民少3个点,他们2.83,我们要2.8。最外面比最里面少一个点,跟我们要2.79。初始,我考虑各地汇率不同,只换了2000人民币,后来发觉后悔则个,换汇最好是在国内换大把美金,留少量人民币换越南盾,这样最划得来。回到面包店,老板似乎带着些解释的意味说,只是几角钱,也就不要在意了。还好,这个心态还是有的,不然那些妇女们靠什么赚钱,如果不在这里换,到银行应该就更少了,市场总是这样形成的,有它存在的原因。多次询问卖船票的地方,答案总是很模糊,大多都说快过年了,不晓得还有船没有。等找到卖船票的地方,已经关门,此时再坐车太辛苦,不符合本次出行FB的宗旨,干脆在卖船票旁边一家店住下来。头一天,因为换算汇率把自己弄得有点稀里糊涂,整了n久才发觉我整整少算一个零,所以怎么都觉得价格不对啊!所以等住下后才完全清醒,原来我们的三人间基本是10美金多一点,200千越南盾。亏我还是做财务的,显然又一次证明我根本不合适跟数字打交道,可惜当初我无比傻B地选择了财务,仅仅因为日后职称问不需要找人,只用考试,不用麻烦人际关系。看来虽然与数字打交道是我的弱项,与人交往更是我一大恐惧。七整八整,午饭还没上嘴,休息少许,抵不住饥肠辘辘,早早就出去,边晃荡边找吃的,顺着北仑桥,居然找到一家全部是中文菜名的饭店,坐下,饭菜一点不便宜,中国人不宰中国人宰谁啊,第一天么,认了吧。北仑桥,此刻已经感觉到摩托车比较多,日后才发觉这里算是非常清静的。路边一家估计是宾馆的地方,已经有着不一样的异国风味。想起以后可能会看见更多法式风格吧。吃饭的地方还做了小装饰,当时夫用人民币付款,这点让他以为日后能在越南通用,以致到后来被我狂笑话:你当rmb是美元啊!下午的北仑桥边,晚霞上的很早,天气好得一塌糊涂,家里的朋友发消息来说下大雪,冷空气让人们窝家中打游戏或者打麻将,而我们在这里享受阳光,真好。散步回旅店,没有去找教堂,忽然发觉第一天在越南竟然这么无所事事,不知该干什么。芒街的一个街心公园,不大,在北仑桥下。从此,就可以一路看见社会主义特色的语牌啦!这是越南***建党80周年的纪念。花费: 人民币:南宁~东兴 60+2/人;出关100;晚餐,三菜一汤,两瓶啤酒 100 越南盾 住宿:200千暮色出现的时候我们说了一个船家,只有这个船有人,以45美金四个人谈了四小时的船上游览,他们说带我们去一个洞,一个岛,中午回来,这个价格不包含午餐,没有岛的门票。想想四小时中午一两点也回来了,就不要午餐了吧,在餐馆吃应该比船上吃好吧。后来才明白我们大错特错了。这个房子真好看,如同别墅一样。看来越南人民还是挺有钱的。 里面有条大狗,吓我一跳,本来还想探头看看,给吓回来了。傍晚人都出来了。还有坚持跑步的鬼佬。不过大多是老年人。夜晚点了花蟹,壳很薄,肉很多,但是价格不便宜。好像400千两只。攻略上也是这么说,下龙湾的海鲜不便宜。不过夫似乎很坚持要把行程搞得FB点。下龙湾有个夜市,很多小摊贩,密密麻麻摆了很多工艺品,从邮局出来往拜塞桥相反的方向走,一路都开发很厉害了,很多高档酒店,沿海这边的娱乐设施似乎是一个叫广南公司的开发的,听着名字就像是国内来越南做开发,之后接着赚中国人钱的。一路倒是规划得有点意思,沿着海岸做了许多小建筑,餐厅,咖啡馆,迪吧等等。我正说着,搞不好是中国人出来赚中国人钱的时候,找到了一块牌子上面是下龙湾海边规划。看着那个公司的名字一下笑了,显然是国内过来,在这里注册的。(夜市上的物品之一)路边很多餐馆都是写着中文招牌,不过里面的菜单上中文菜价要比越文菜价贵十元左右。对比之后,照着越文的点。在下龙湾人民币通用,很多人说中文,不过背包客聚集区说中文的还是没有饭店商店说的人多。我看很多都是中国人在这里做事。与夫单独出来散步,这会有点累就在路边闲坐,点了啤酒就蛤蜊闲聊,说这样也算搞浪漫,似乎这样老了牵手走路也会感觉靠谱。小饭店的女人很妖艳,跟两个鬼佬眉来眼去,似乎留了电话什么的。我跟夫则看着路人,然后我每每都能很正确指出中国人,特别是一大帮如旅行团的基本都是国人。于是后来一大帮人准备宵夜的时候,这个妖艳女子站起来喊:中国老板,这边来这边来。。。。。让我跟夫笑喷。其实沿海这里很冷清,只有一家慢摇吧挤满当地小年轻们。门口这个小摩托很有意思。可能是节前一天,游客很少,本地人也要过节,夜晚的下龙湾很安静,不知道喧嚣的时候是什么样子。以前的殖民总督住的地方作为办公楼了,而胡志明故居很简单,倒是明黄的房子在绿树下,很舒服。 楼下会客厅([]
马尔代夫,上帝抛洒人间的项链香港,国际化的东方明珠从麻袋到香港,注定经典应朋友要求,把全程记录下来,以便日后参考仅仅是篇流水账,不敢称为攻略,“攻略”二字分量太重,小猫担待不起因为是流水账,所以此篇注定啰嗦综合各位看官的提问,在开篇统一回答吧1、去的哪个岛?喵答:麻袋有一百多个度假岛可选,小猫选择的是Centara grand,国内通常称之为中央格兰德。因为它可以满足小猫对于房型、浮潜、一价全包、中文服务等等的需求。(附上Centara介绍一份,仅供参考)2、费用多少?喵答:1.59W/人,包括香港往返马累机票,马累往返酒店岛的水飞,岛上的吃喝住行等全包。从国际航班的选择、上岛方式的选择、岛屿的选择、岛上房型的选择、住宿天数的选择、餐饮的选择等等,都影响到价位。就像组装电脑似的,不同配置搭配出来的价格也不同,所以没有固定报价。选择适合自己的就好。我们选择的美佳航空直飞马代(不用转机),水飞上岛(水飞最贵,但是先生非常想体验),两天沙屋+两天水屋,并且是岛上最具特色的夕阳水屋,得出1.59W的数字,跟我们同一航班的一对夫妻是用内飞方式(内陆飞机)上岛,比我们便宜一千块。对吃不太感兴趣的话可以选择不含餐,一顿饭可以省去80-100美金,吃货们最好选择含全餐,虽然总报价偏贵,但比单点要划算的多。如果是又爱吃又爱玩,那推荐一价全包,吃玩都包了,很省心。(不知道这样解释得清楚不,如有不清楚,再留言哈)3、自助还是跟团?喵答:小猫通过网络在旅行社订的机票+酒店,6天4夜自由行,从香港出发,直飞麻袋。4、关于穷游喵答:去麻袋不代表我富有,吃方便面不代表我潦倒,在我喜欢的风景中吃一碗我喜欢的方便面,是一种情怀。(失误的是这次忘带方便面了)看完帖子大家会了解到,一路上我们是怎样精打细算节约开支,让努力攒的旅费发挥更大作用的!(旅行计划书已附上,跟实际出行计划略有不同,仅供参考) 6月18日上午,乘坐高铁离开洛阳,驶往深圳。 两个吃货之旅拉开帷幕。 列车驶入广东境内,出现大片的水田,房屋变得稠密 一天很快就晃过去了,下午六点多,到达深圳北站第一眼深圳 因为第二天要从罗湖口岸过关去香港,今晚的住宿酒店就定在了罗湖区,酒店是从网上预订的。 深圳粤佳商务酒店(地址:深圳罗湖区和平路船步街12号电话:0755—25928111)交通:深圳北 乘坐龙华线——少年宫站E口出,转乘228路中心书城北站——渔民村站——抵达粤佳商务酒店(43分钟) 粤佳附近还有很多酒店,一间挨一间,特别是7天连锁,遍地都是,还有一家叫“王子酒店”很吸引人,可惜先生没订在那里。 看到上图左边的扶梯了么,从扶梯上去,就可以乘坐龙华线地铁啦~ 当然要先在自动售票机处购买地铁票 到达少年宫站,暮色正浓 出地铁后向前直走(向西)一分钟到公交车站,等待228路 乘228路到渔民村,下车往回走,看见立交桥左转200米左右,即到酒店 办理完入住立马奔出门去找食 一出门就看见凉茶,先来一杯祛湿的排排毒 这个味道,比某老吉苦多了 离酒店不远就有一座商场,猜想里面一定有吃的,就一头扎进去 一逛还真感叹啊:深圳人民生活质量就是高,商场里还能滑真冰,还真有几个溜得像模像样的 不想了,赶紧找食。 由于深居内陆很少吃海鲜,决定来尝一尝回转寿司 价格偏贵,味道一般,二人吃了160+,没有吃饱,先生建议去小摊上找点吃的,小猫欣然同意 边找小吃边往酒店走,一路上嘴巴不停,鱼蛋、水果,已经塞到十成饱,看见鱼皮饺没把持住,又来了一碗 很好吃呦,连汤带饺吃得精光,这家小店叫做“一味克拉”,粤佳酒店一出门右手边就是~ 对了,粤佳酒店不提供免费的洗漱用品,一套10元。这10元我就不让酒店挣了,咱出门一向装备齐全,洗漱用品更不在话下。 6月19日 早晨9点退房,吃早餐,还是一味克拉,牛腩面 从粤佳酒店到罗湖口岸只有一站路,可步行也可乘坐公交车,到达深圳火车站西广场,上天桥步行到罗湖口岸,非常近。 罗湖口岸每天早晨6:30时开闸,晚上0:00时关闸。 过关的人很多,但井然有序,马上就不能用wap了,想想有点小桑心 OH!忘记交代了,我们订的航班是从香港直飞麻袋,内地游客持香港机票可以在港停留7天,不需要办入港证噢~ 今天计划到西贡玩一天,晚上在机场凑合一夜,等待第二天一早的航班 一小时后,我们站在了特别行政区的土地上,这也意味着,今后9天的来电都是国际长途了 过关之后首先办张八达通,每张150港币,里面含100元费用,可是超不经用,一天下来就刷的差不多了。 罗湖到西贡的交通方式有很多,如下:1.罗湖站31分钟大学站(B口)步行大学火车站(乘坐新界区专线小巴807a)15分钟海柏站步行海栢花园站(乘坐九巴299路)41分钟西贡总站步行西贡海鲜街(807a:6:00—23:59299路:10:28—19:28)2.罗湖站——大学站(B口)——大学火车站(乘坐新界区专线小巴807k)——雅典居站(乘坐九巴299路)——西贡总站——西贡海鲜街3.罗湖站——大学站(B口)——大学火车站(乘坐新界区专线小巴807b)——黄竹湾站步行麦边站(乘坐新界区专线小巴9路)——西贡码头站4.罗湖站——大学站(B口)——大学火车站(乘坐新界区专线小巴807b)——黄竹湾站步行麦边站(乘坐城巴698r)——西贡站 我们选择的第一条方案,过关之后跟着人群去乘搭地铁,到达大学站下车。 找到B口出站,右手边走一点就能看到小巴807A 要提前跟司机说到花园站下哦 香港的公交司开的不是车,是疯狂老鼠,他在上坡下坡急转弯中炫耀着车技,我在喷与不喷中徘徊 还好路程不长,很快到达花园站,在此换乘299双层巴士直达西贡码头 299 很舒服的双层巴士 到达西贡已是中午,第一件事------找海鲜。 按照网上攻略说的“全记海鲜”找到了这家店,进去之后发现情况不对,这是一家卖套餐的店,并不是海鲜店,但是已经落座,想走也不好意思了,于是尝试着点了一份海鲜饭。 先生点的咖喱牛腩被我好一顿鄙视,跑海边来吃牛肉,在家没吃够是咋地。 海鲜饭还挺好吃的,里面鱼虾壳贝儿都有,味道也不错,合我口味 两份套餐一共70多港币 小吃店后面就是码头,吃完饭到打算过去溜溜,刚往店后面一转,My god!这后面才是海鲜一条街啊 先生很伤感地叨叨:吃错了。。。 海鲜街临着港湾,坐在这吹着海风吃着海鲜多惬意啊,只是这会儿肚子饱饱的,还是先逛逛消消食吧,晚上再来海吃! 露一小胖脸 跟回程时相比,现在还算瘦的,9天以后惨不忍睹好大好大的螃蟹 好大好大的虾 看把我稀奇的,从小都木有见过么~~~ 各种奇奇怪怪的海鲜让人新奇的不行 我问先生:咱是不是到了水族馆了 不要以为这是小鱼哦,实事上它足有一米长呢 背着大包逛街实属无奈,罗湖出关一直到西贡,都没有地方可以寄存,在西贡问了几间小商店,想着出点银子把包包寄存一会儿,都被老板一口回绝,又想找个超市总有存包的吧,没想到香港的超市不用存,拿着什么都可以进,汗哪,没有办法,只能自己背着了。 继续瞧新鲜去 西贡街景 全记,这才是我们要找的全记 奇怪的是海鲜街牌坊里外有好几家“全记” 有点蒙圈 不想了 抓紧接着溜达,争取早点饿 街头很多在晾晒的小鱼干 马路很干净,可海水里,特别是饭店门口的海水里,好多脏兮兮的东西,看了心痛,没有拍 我一直碎碎念:这不是海这不是海这不是海 真希望第一次看海,看到的是马尔代夫那样清澈的海水,而不是眼前被玷污过的浑水 从海鲜街的尽头转到了小街道,两旁是各种商铺 我被一包大龙虾片深深吸引 写的那么诱人 老板娘又诱惑我说:好吃又新鲜,刚炸的哦 我警惕的问她:这里面是虾还是面啊 她理直气壮的说当然是大龙虾啊,你尝尝 先生递过钱,我拆了一包,瞬间感觉老板娘侮辱了我的智商 这跟某某虾条有个毛区别,就是一包面 老板娘还在一旁自信的教导我:小口吃不行,大口才香。 香你妹 走过这间店 先生说不吃扔了吧 我愤愤的把这包炸面片塞进了登山包里,那10块钱是好挣的啊 没想到这一举动相当正确,这个后面会讲到 在寻找满记甜品的路上 当地的菜市场,有点香港电影里的赶脚 旧旧的但很有味道的小花店 西贡不大,满记很好找的,如果找不到就问一下路人 在香港,与人打招呼第一句话通常是“Excuse me!” 男女老少通用 经吃货鉴定:味道很正,不像是添加剂做的 西贡这家满记不接受刷卡,只能付现金 还有个霸王条款,人民币100=港币100,真不厚道 去银行兑换的话,人民币79.8=港币100 幸好先生做足了功课,提前在内地兑换好了港币和美金 溜达了半天,还不到三点 于是决定去逛超市,购物是假,蹭空调是真 另外还可以把大包卸下休息会儿,嘿嘿 15港币买了3个橙子,蹭了一小时空调,真划算 好容易悠到4点,先生说他还没一点饿劲,要不然今天不吃海鲜了吧,从麻袋返程回来再吃,现在出发去机场 我一想那哪行啊,到时黄了怎么办 先生诧异:你还吃得下? 我笑而不语,吃货的称号是白来的么,这一身膘是白养的么,想当初姐姐也是吃自助餐扶墙进扶墙出的主 为了不耽误去机场的时间,当即决定晚饭提前至4点,由我主吃,先生尝尝。哦耶!龙虾,我来了! 海鲜街有好几家全记 我们就近选了一家,点了双人豪华套餐,388港币,四盘海鲜,一盘蔬菜,一碟水果,含茶水、服务费、税。(香港很多餐厅吃饭都要收服务费和税) 芝士龙虾伊面底 白灼海上虾 清蒸海上鲜,好像是鲳鱼,跟牛肉差不多老 蒜蓉粉丝蒸瑶柱 这一桌子,除了龙虾盘里的面条,和半条鲳鱼,其他真的被我扫光了。。 从此踏上了一条发福的不归路 好好吃 好好吃 消食神器----大力山楂丸! 吃饱喝足,和店门口的大鱼来张合影 好大的鱼,尾巴还没照上呢 告别西贡,下一站香港国际机场 在码头的汽车站乘坐专线1A号绿色小巴士,再次体验一把疯狂老鼠 我不断鼓励自己,不能喷不能喷,饭好贵的 坐1A到彩虹站下车,坐地铁观塘线至太子站,转荃湾线到荔景,再转东涌线到东涌,出地铁站,乘城巴S1路到香港国际机场一号客运大楼。([]
塔敏查干沙漠穿越游记 4月30日,我和妈妈随科尔沁户外俱乐部一行28余人乘坐公共汽车前往内蒙古通辽市库伦旗,进行负重沙漠露营穿越户外活动。 塔敏查干沙漠位于库伦旗,属于哲里木盟辖旗。“库伦”系蒙古语译音,意为“有围墙的地方”。位于哲里木盟西南部。东邻科尔沁左翼后旗,南靠辽宁省阜新蒙古族自治县和彰武县,西连奈曼旗,北接开鲁县。面积4 650平方公里,人口16.8万,其中蒙古族占60%。辖5镇7苏木3乡。旗府驻库伦镇,距盟府140公里,海拔250.6米。元属中书省辖。明初属大宁卫。明末先后属察哈尔部、内喀尔喀部。清初形成唯一的政教合一的喇嘛旗称库伦旗,因曼苏希礼喇嘛从西藏来此传经布法,故名曼珠希礼库伦旗,1933年改库伦旗。解放后先属热河省辖,后归内蒙古自治区辖(1969~1979年曾归吉林省辖)。养畜牧河横贯中部,河南为黄土丘陵沟壑区,属燕山余脉;河北是地甸地,属西辽河冲积平原边缘属大陆性气候。地势西南高,东北低。水土流失造成沟壑纵横,北部沙化严重。年均温6.3℃,年均降水量426.9毫米,无霜期140-150天。矿藏有铁、钨、铜、石灰石、大理石、氟石、珍珠岩、砂等。有5条地方干线公路,纵横境内。工业有建材、电力、地毯、酿酒、制革、鞋帽、皮毛加工、农机、民用铸造、水泥、印刷、制砖、柳编、塑编、制药等行业。以农为主,农牧林结合,多种经营。农业主产玉米、高粱、稻谷、小麦、荞麦。有中学16所。是“安代舞”发源地,有“安代之乡”的盛名,由旗乌兰牧骑创作并演出的歌舞剧《安代传奇》被国家文化部认定为新剧种--科尔沁蒙古剧。古迹有兴源寺和福缘寺、象教寺,境内有50余座辽代古墓,其中“一号辽墓”,壁画面积约180平方米,是中国古代艺术史上的瑰宝. 30日中午我们到达库伦,午餐后参观了三大寺院,然后到库伦旗繁华的商业中心购物,见识了当地的风味食品,游览了旗中心的人民广场,下午3点左右,乘坐大巴前往穿越起点,在乡间公路颠簸了一个多小时左右到了一个不知名的小村子。 这个村子离穿越点还有些距离,于是我们就背着行囊徒步前行,大约走了2公里我们被一条河挡住了去路。怎么过?有的人去联系乘坐交通工具绕行过河,我和妈妈则按照前面驴友的方法背着行囊脱鞋鞋趟河(水很凉,脚下20多公分的淤泥下面还没有完全化冻)。过河后大约徒步补个多小时到达第一露营地,安营扎寨,埋锅造饭。晚餐我们吃了鸡蛋菠菜汤、红焖肉、馕饼。妈妈说吃好了才有体力去穿越沙漠。 餐后,科尔沁户外和长春徒步协会的驴友点篝火,一起狂欢,蒙族驴友叔叔应大家邀请唱起了蒙族歌曲,让我感到了驴友们的朴实,歌声伴着篝火在夜空中飘荡,围着篝火驴友们跳着唱着。高潮时“我的热情好像一把火,燃烧了整个沙漠。沙漠有了我,从此不寂寞……”这歌声恰如其分的诠释了人们当时的心情。5月1日早,9点开始徒步穿越沙漠,领队山峰进行了分组,我和妈妈在一组,擎云叔叔是领队 。我们踩着软软的沙子前行,脚下留下我们坚韧的足迹。沙漠因为我们的穿越显得生机勃勃,不在是沉静。穿越者的的各色装扮点缀着沙漠,人们蜿蜒前行,走在沙脊上看着滴滴汗珠落在沙地里那的印记被大风吹的转瞬即逝。随着时间的推移脚步开始变得沉重,大家每走上一个沙脊都会停下脚步拍照。走累了就休息,喝些水,吃点零食补充些营养继续向着沙漠腹地前进。中午的沙漠很热,真的热情似火。经过一上午的沙漠穿越,下午大家都自动放慢脚步,慢慢沿着沙脊朝着露营地方向前进。因为我们是第一队,在前面,怕和大家离得太远,老卒大伯决定在一个沙山上休息,等山峰他们,我和妈妈就卸下背包睡了一觉。后来好些驴友叔叔上来了我们一起前行,经过了“漫长”的两个小时跋涉(说“漫长”,亲身经历的人就会懂),傍晚我们选择了养畜牧河边作为我们的第二露营地安营。休息一会,我们开始搭建临时的家。好几十顶帐篷列队排开,真壮观。晚餐后,伴随着落日余晖我们大家爬上周围的沙山开始了一天最轻松的拍照欢乐时光。 夜晚,躺在帐篷里听着河边此起彼伏的蛙声,在怎么想不到这是大漠的邻居,养畜牧河的热情和大漠冷峻能够如此的和谐,更增添了沙漠穿越的神秘。听着夜晚大漠的风在吟唱,感受着那冰冷的夜色,渐渐融入梦乡。 2日,早餐后,返程徒步,在乡村小路徒步12.5公里,身体虽然很是疲倦,但途中小雨很清爽使我们的心情格外的轻松。回头望着两天来我们走过的这片沙漠,心里有着很是的不舍,我们只是一群过客,还没来得及深度体验和发现她的雄浑壮阔和更多神秘之处,就离开了。望着因我们的离去又归于沉寂的沙漠,在心里默默祝福再见了大漠,谢谢你给予我的这份神奇经历。 在这里要感谢组织者山峰叔叔、打前站的阿布叔叔和何叔叔、领队擎云叔叔、财务总管蓝月亮姐姐等驴友。同时,很感谢妈妈拉我参加这次穿越而且做窝的随队厨师使我有机会在沙漠穿越中享用奢侈的饭菜! 加蓬位于中部非洲的大西洋海岸。赤道穿越,为赤道多雨气候,国土面积的85%为热带雨林所覆盖。首都和最大城市是利伯维尔。让蒂尔是加蓬重要的港口、矿业城市。 我是一名中石化员工,2008年9月,因我所属的中方公司上层与加蓬石油公司有合作项目,我和队友才有机会来到非洲加蓬国,在让蒂尔南部以伊根甲营地为中心,对周边岛屿和浅海地区进行了,为期五个多月的石油地震勘探施工作业。2008年10月17日,下午五时左右,营地遭遇了罕见的飓风袭击,将近一半的营地帐篷物资损毁,狂风夹着暴雨施虐了一个多小时,财物损失严重。暴雨还没有停止,留守在营地的值班领导和一些队友就开始冒雨抢救物资和进行自救。。。。。 虽然营地遭遇了飓风袭击,个人和公共财物也受到了损失,在这样那样的困难面前中国的石油工人没有退却,一边正常组织生产,一边积极开展营地自救自建,因为我们坚信用我们的铁人精神一定能够开创更美好的明天,胜利的彩虹一定会在风雨后重新升起。。。。。伊根甲准化营地鸟瞰图 飓风和台风都是指风速达到33米/秒以上的热带气旋,只是因发生的地域不同,才有了不同名称。出现在北太平洋西部和我国南海的强烈热带气旋被称为“台风”;发生在大西洋、墨西哥湾、加勒比海和北太平洋东部的则称“飓风”。飓风在一天之内就能释放出惊人的能量,气旋中心位置破坏力极强。 营地遭遇飓风袭击后的场景 伊根甲营地全景鸟揽 暴风雨中在营地的留守人员和刚从工地回来的一部分队员开始冒雨组织自救 刚才还躺在宿舍休息呢,这一阵飓风过后,就站在雨里了,估计还没回过神来,好在大家人身还算安全。左下角是被飓风刮倒的旗杆。。。。 暴雨中先抢救没有被淋透的行李和电器 营地一片狼藉,铁杆的天线也被飓风刮弯了。 帐篷被刮得七零八落 镜头前的这张床就是俺睡的,帐篷不知飞哪去了,床上的被褥和私人用品吹落了一地,蚊帐是从后边的空地上捡回来的,还不知道是不是我的。。。 雨小了,大家开始收拾残局。 这张不知是谁的家人照片,还静静的躺在雨水中。。。。 刚收工回来的员工立即投入现场进行自救 营地领导积极组织自救自建部分黑人员工也加入到自救队伍 自己动手重建家园([]

There are many like-minded asking me about it. I now present this thread to briefly tell everybody about my journey.The starting point of this traverse was from the highest peak of the western part of the Tibetan plateau, Jieshan Daban, and the day was April 20, 2010.I was heading eastward passing Bungdag Co, Yanghu Co, Rola Co, and Kangzhagri Mountain, which crossed over the desolate region from west to east. The journey continued northward to enter the unpopulated area of Altun Mountains, through Hoh Xil Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, Whale lake, ..., finally met some people by the Aqqikkol Hu and then arrived in Huatugou by vehicle three days later and that day was July 5. It had been 77 days in total. I had been all alone 74 days after leaving Jieshan Daban until arriving inAqqikkol Hu, which was about 1400km and about four months.[The Great Chang Tang] In Tibetan, "Chang Tang" means northern empty wilderness while narrowly, means unpopulated region in northern part of Tibet. However, it actually indiCATes all of the no man's land in northern. The great Chang Tang includes desolate places in Northern Tibet, Hoh Xil, Alun Mountains, and Kunlun Mountains, which are interconnected to form the unique and super empty wilderness in the world. Only because Hoh Xil is the most known name, most people just think this vast land is equivalent to Hoh Xil. In reality, Hoh Xil is only a small piece of the Great Chang Tang both administratively and geologically. The Great Chang Tang, the last land to chase your freedom and dream.The route that I traversed ForeplayI arrived in Tibet in the early March, a couple of troubles bothered me. The brand new plug got its positive and negative wrongly connected; the rivets of my rucksack eASIly got broken from now and again; and a multi-functional charger got damaged and so on. Riding my bike to Ngari for warming up of this journey, lost my rucksack but later got it back; lost my camera bag and got it back later again, and finally lost a big bicycle pannier in the street of Gyangze town under the eyes of police, including clothes, solar panel and so on.Without much choice, I returned to Lhasa to adjust all the stuff I would need in the wilderness. Then I begged some luck by going to Nyingchi to enjoy the blossoms of peach trees and to take a hot spring bath. I even had the privilege to enjoy time with ten girls in the hot spring. I felt my bad luck had all gone and then returned to Lhasa again to prepare going to Ngari. I did not expect that I was cheated on by some hustler and lost some money and delayed my schedule for a week. I had to find a car myself quickly to Nagri. However, I lost the tool for fast-parting my rear wheel on my way to Nagri, where was a remote area in Tibet and nowhere to buy the tool. Even if there was one in Lhasa it would take at least ten days for a special delivery service. I was lucky that my mate Duola asked a driver to bring the tool for me from Lhasa. I thought there should be no more nightmare like this but the nozzle of my brand new multi-fuel stove was broken. The next day I tried everywhere to weld them back together. The first three shops could not do the welding for copper. The fourth one said they could do it but could not guarantee a sUCCess. The engineer said it would be ten Chinese yuans if it was a success. I agreed. Just in seconds, my nozzle became crap in a flash of lightening. I was so upset. Again, Duola helped me by bringing her own MSR oil stove and Dingding's sleeping bag to Nagri. That was already April 16 and I did not have much time to waste. It was still night and extremely cold and dark. Driver was not bothered to pop his head out of the driving cab. I climbed up on the top of the iron wastes, taking my bicycle down. In a hurry, I punched my old water bag. Fortunately I had another MSR water bag given by a friend of mine otherwise I would definitely fail without even starting my journey. For the first time for me to set up the brand new tent in strong, cold winds. It would be impossible to do so if the tent was not a whole piece. Extremely cold outside, about -15C, might be lower than that, I put my head into the sleeping bag but was nearly suffocated to death, honestly. The smell of Dingding's sleeping bag was, lol, so extraordinary. I woke up around 11 o'clock. There were still strong winds outside so that I had to use my bodyweight to keep the tent in place. At the time when I just started to cook and eat, four patrolling soldiers approached me. To their surprise someone, in this season, camped in Jieshan Daban. I was so nervous and afraid they were the people to block my journey because I was caught and deported from the desolate land last year. Luckily the four soldiers did not know my destination and were very kind to me. After they left, I immediately packed my stuff and pushed my bike into the depths of the unpopulated area just in case anything unexpected happened.The bike was very heavy due to the provisions and hard to control. There was even a quite small hill that I had to remove my bike panniers to get over it. This really struck me because this happened even the path was still the hardship one at the moment and I could not imagine what I would do once I entered the uncertain, endless wilderness. Until now I had not met anyone, even the nomadic pastoralists. I remembered there were quite a few of them roaming at the edge of the northern Tibetan plateau last year. All of these indicated it was not the good pasture season in such low temperature and strong winds. Around 16km there was a sheep cote, where I passed it last year, east of Lungmu Co. I was exhausted at this point so that I decided to camp in here and to rest my head. After arranging tent everything I went out to look for the wetland discovered by Duola and Liumeng last year. I was determined to find it.There were many hot springs in the wetland which were underground water with a constant temperature. The wetland therefore became an ideal habitat for some fishes and weeds under such harsh weather, which was the very unique land feature of terrain in this over 5200m highland.Perpetual snow in the valley blown to corn shape by strong windsThis wetland was discovered by Duola and Liumeng. The next day rather than continuing to travel, I stayed inside the sheep cote, hesitating and pondering over. Indeed, there were so many problems before this journey;I did not have sufficient physical preparation;the load had already reached its limitation; I still coughed a lot;the weather was so extreme and cold. All in all, I did not think this journey was well prepared and I did not have confidence in completing this journey mentally and physically. To do, or not to do, it was the question. Similarly I did not have confidence in my facilities, not knowing whether all of them would work functionally or not. The fact was one of the rivets got broken again and the front rack came loose. In the afternoon, I replaced all the rivets of the panniers with screws I had prepared before. This was an excellent job I had done which gave me no further troubles throughout my whole journey. I also re-adjusted the front rack. However I did not think it would definitely all right because I did not have a tool to do it. When the darkness descended,I made up my mind to continue my journey, which, of course, was not beyond any imagination. You could hear the gigantic sound of wind if the picture had a sound Day 3 (April 22), 52.4km, Camping 5145mGot up in the morning, could not put everything into the bags. Without much choice I had to throw away three portions of tsampa, elbow pads, and crampons. Following the road of the lead-zinicmine I found the side path to enter the wilderness, which was on the riverbed and very hard to see. I missed this side path last year so that I had to take a short cut into the wilderness directly then. That was why I had taken extra care to find the side path. The following journey was to get over a big hill, which lay 5275m above sea level and was the highest point of my whole journey. Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I passed the side path leading to Orba Co and started a journey which was complete strange to me. I ate a piece of pilot breads, which was frozen like rocks so that I had to use my spade to crush it. At 6 o'clock in the evening, I had pushed plus rode my bicycle for about 32 km. I reckoned I should have been able to double this if I did no carry such heavy load. The wind became stronger and stronger. I opened the parasail kits and tested it. The result was far beyond what I expected. With the aid of the strong wind I was just like flying over the wilderness. After 8 o'clock in the evening, I started to observe the water Source and to get ready to camp. Map showed there were successive springs along the path and assembled to puddles. But I had overestimated the water source here in this land and in this season there were endless wilderness inside the valley, where I could not see a single drop of water. As it became darker and darker, I felt a little bit nervous which resulted in three spokes of the parasail broken and became a useless rubbish. Anyway, it helped me to move forward 20km more which benefited me a lot later on. When time approached 9.30 pm, it was almost completely dark. I had to lie my bike on the ground and went on to try to find water on the north side of the valley. This was a wide and flat sandy land, where I could not see any ditches there and further was complete darkness. I returned to get my GPS to look up the contours and found the south part of the valley was closer to a hill so I took the way. Finally I found a piece of ice in a ditch. I smashed about 20litre of ice. The ice was quite shallow scattered with sheep poo. On my way back, my eyes were hurt by strong winds, which got me a couple of days to recover. It was nearly 23 o'clock after I set up the tent. It also took about 40 mins to melt the ice. I was so tired and my appetite was completely spoiled. I then had a little bit of milk. I had never expected thing would go like this, it was so distressing. Streams along the path, ice everywhereThe river flew into Matou Hu, in whose north part there was a satellite lake, a wonderful ice-skating court It took 40mins to melt the ice in midnight Day 4 (April 23), 31km, Camping 5028mA cloudy day with gusts. From now and again, hails chased me from behind. Sunny spell. Heavy sandy land made me have to push my bike. At 3pm, I arrived at Luxing Hu, where there was a house made of clay. This was the last permanent building of my journey. Last year, Duola and Liumeng once lived in this house for three days without meeting anybody. It seemed it was the same but the truck parking in front of the house made me worry about. I went to the sheep cote first to check over, where there were only a few lambs following me everywhere I went later on. This made me feel warm in my heart. I observed farther places using my binoculars but could not see any people or sheeps. After making sure there were no people around I opened the locked door using a screwdriver. The living room was very clean. There were two boxes of beverages on the ground and a string of cured lamb legs hanging over in the interior room. A pot of water was on the top of the stove, lukewarm, which indicated the host must be not far away from his home. I filled up my water bag and left the house. I also put the screws back to the door in order not to leave any trace of my visiting. I then took a spanner from the toolbox of the truck, which gave me great help for the rest of the journey.I left the house as quickly as possible. After last year's experience, the nomadic pastoralists were the last people I wanted to meet. A few hundred meters away from the house, the vehicle traces were fading fast. Even downhill, I had to push rather than to ride because of the heavy loose sand. From the route point of view, only after Luxing Hu it was the real unpopulated land. After many days, I thought of the lamb legs from time to time. It was pity that I then had plenty of provisions and the bike was too heavy to carry anything more. Probably this road was the high plain or somewhere the wind passed so that it was so windy. The average wind speed was degree 6 but could reach degree 9 in the blick of an eye. The road was still full of sand and very heavy to walk on it. My eyes became worse under such harsh weather. About three o'clock in the afternoon, I saw something in my right, looked like antenna. I went closer to see what it was and found out it was an iron tower (the triangulation station). In 1970s, a joint team from Chinese three military regiments entered this area doing research. They have left a lot of triangulation stations and benchmarks, which I had the priviledge to see them today.At dusk, I approached to a spring by the Bungdag Co, which flew into the frozon lake. The sand and soil, brought by the strong wind, scattered on the surface of the ice all over the lake. There were so many cracks around the icey surface of the lake. I geussed it must be caused by the springs under the water rather than by melted ice. In the west of the Bungdag Co was the side path leading to Keriya Pass, where a SUV could reach directly. I had looked out any vehicle Tracks but failed. The cloudy sky started to snow. Spongy volcanic rocks could be found easily. I pushed my bike turning around a small hill, seeing a big river, the Yinshui He, flowing from Orba Co into Bungdag Co, which I had been to its upstream last year. It was also a passage for animal migration. The downstream of the river was extremely wide and broad. The thickess of the ice layer could reach one meter with the main stem in the middle course of the river, very deep. There were a few springs along the river, sweet and clear.I only went forward a little bit more than 4km but I had walked more than 20km for finding my way. It was not possible to cross the main stem, let alone the north bank of Bungdad Co. What I could only do was to try to find a shallow place to cross. But the southern area was a even larger piece of wetland and forced the road turn towards west. I spent a couple of hours but failed to find a good point to cross the river. In the afternoon, I decided to follow the edge of the wetland. When I reached the hill foot, the wetland finally disappeared. Around this area, there were clearly volcanic feature of terrain and I even found traces of pasturing and cairns made from volcanic rock.Here was the last pasturing trace I found throughout my journey, I guessed it was a summer pasture area. After this, there was no clear sign of human activities in this vast wilderness. I had been looking for my ways until it was dark. I made up my mind where to go TOMOrrow. The terrain here looked like Yardang landforms, as well as volcanic landforms The Yinshui He river from Orba CoSprings scattered all over the river bank, painted green by lovely algaeThe river was very deep. At 2pm, I was blocked by the zigzag Yinshui He again and I had no choice but to cross it. The river was about 700m wide, covered by ice which appeared very different. The hanging ice, the folding ice, the piling-up ice, the icy puddle, and the sleet were everywhere along the river bank. Having noticed all of these, I reckoned the river would be receding at dusk, which was why there were so many different shapes and forms of ice. I put my slipper on, going into the main stream of the river. I found there were at least three different courses of the river, the thickness of the surface ice varied and the river water reached above my knees. I sighed there would be no way back once I crossed this river. There are many ways in one's life too, you can only take it once and you will no long have the courage to repeat it.I pushed the bike crossing the river. Some of the ice was a bit soft, jamming the tyres so that I had to use my feet to break them first. Some of the ice was a bit thick but with half-melted underneath, sticking the the bike completely, some of the ice was half-water half-ice with a sandy riverbed, which was really hard to pass. I had to remove all of the panniers at the last stage of the crossing. I spent the whole four hours to cross the river, my legs got many bloody cuts. At 6pm, the surface ice was almost disappeared completely, the river level rapidly rising to a chaotic status. I thought if I hesitated a little bit at that time, I could not have the courage to cross this river under such circumstances. The river bank was unimaginably sandy and was quite steep. I had to unloaded the panniers again to reach the top of the bank. By the time of sunset, the weather became exceptionally good. The sunlight from the descending sun, the blue sky, the faint moon, .... Since then I used GPS to check the mileage. The digital thermometer was no longer working. I had to use mercury thermometer to collect data. Night temperatures were basically between –15℃—–20℃ while the temperature inside my tent was about –10℃. The advantage of the integrated tent was that it limited the ventilation so to keep warm inside. However, it got clearly disadvantage of heavy condensation and dew. Every morning, there was plenty of frost inside the tent so that I had to put my hood on First Before fully getting dressed. The winds in Chang Tang finally became consistent with the pattern I had researched the other day no or very tiny wind in the morning, strong wind started after 2pm, and then at around 8pm its strength was reduced again. The accuracy of this prediction was about 80%.The road was very bad today. I walked whole afternoon in an ancient riverbed and it was so difficult that I had to use all of my strengths to move a small step forward and then to stop to breath, slower than a snail. After five hours' struggling, my eyes got wet when I saw the grassy river bank. Finally! The nightmare was over.Cold and clear morningHeavy morning condensation in the interior, a lot of frost to clearSuch dawning sunlight indicated a cloudy day ahead Day 9 (April 28), 18km, 5072mIn the morning I entered a range of sandy roads which were so terrible. The solar panel specially designed for GPS got short circuited. After checking it was found to be the diode got damaged. Luckily I got a replacement. Because the GPS was exclusively supplied by a solar panel so that it was no longer a problem for the power supplement of GPS. In a period of 70 days, I did replace the battery once, which saved me a lot of alkaline batteries. I did have another solar panel of 5.4 W which was used specifically for 7.5V Camera, DV and other digital facilities. Unlike water, I had never been short of power.At 7pm in the evening, I arrived at Pur Co. The surface of this lake was very odd the ice by the river bank rose and the river bank was broken, I reckoned that was due to the strong winds. The ice there was mingled with something yellow, could be the stain of alkali. There were many wild yaks on the other side of the lake. There could be two brown bears but I could not be for certain. On the east side of the lake, there was a peninsula leading to the centre of the lake. I camped just opposite to the peninsula. At night , I smashed the ice to get drinking water, which tasted alkali. For the first time I cooked the cereals, which was brought completely by accident. This was just because I found there was a little bit of extra space when I was in Nagri packing the stuff for this journey so that I bought two packs of cereals. It tasted disgusting, probably there was too much alkali in the water. I threw away half of it. Later I realised that probably I subconsciously felt that the provisions was so heavy. The wild yaks clustered into small groups. All of a sudden, there was a group of five of them running towards me, blowing a huge cloud of dust with the power of thunderbolts,I believed that anyone who did not know the characters of the wild yaks must be frightened to death under such circumstances. The fact was the wild yaks in groups never injured people. Rushing to you just to show you its territory. When they approached people at certain distance, they would turn sharply and run away, and then stopped somewhere high to stare at you. You can not imagine that the wild yaks were very cautious animals compared with its almost one ton of weight. Their first reaction, when meeting people, was to raise their tails, the front hooves rubbing against the ground, the horns pointing forward, the eyes redden, and the long body hair shaking, all of which showed their determination to fight.This was the warning sign that you should retreat. However, you should realise that this was only a gesture that they were afraid of you and wanted to scare you away. The thing was that if you were not afraid of them and moved forward, they would run away in no time. There were only some mad yaks attacking people, which was really rare to happen. In Chang Tang, an experienced driver know that it is very dangerous to pass directly from two or three lonely wild yaks. They always tried to avoid confronting them directly. If this was not possible, they would lit a cigarette, smoking, to wait until the yaks walked away themselves. This was because the wild yaks really could attack vehicles, which was not completely rumors. I once asked them why I had not been attacked. They told me that because my bike was so small they would not be bothered to attack it. My own experience was that approaching a wild yak very slowly, do not look into its eyes, and ignored what it was doing. As long as it moved forward a little bit, just stop and give the yaks a little bit of time to think. Because if you forced the yak, it could be themost dangerous animal in the world and nothing could stop them killing. Even a gunshot could not kill it but only left a small hole in its skin. In the past, the nomads living near this land would use yaks' skin as chopping board which was very much endurable. At noon, I lost my balacLAVA, which was brand new and I had never used it once. I could not be bothered to go back tofind it. This resulted in that I had to have my fleece hat day and night in the rest of my journey, which did not provide fully protection from the sun in the plateau. But somehow I was all right, perhaps because my skin is similar to those of yaks, lol. At around half past one, I found a deserted Jeep, upside down. I felt it could be there for years and it could be the vehicle of someillegal HUNTERs. Nowadays, we have wildlife conservation reserves in Chang Tang and the animals here are well protected. However, some people kills the wild yaks to sell them as the domestic yak's meat. In general, it is worth 10,000 Chinese yuans for a single wild yak. Therefore many people take the risk to make money. They often enter the unpopulated areas to hunt and their activities can reach 200 km in diameter. This is why the wild yaks in the deep wilderness are less afraid of people than thoseat the boundaries of the Chang Tang region.There once happened that a wild yak mother revenged its baby's murder in the Altun mountains. Its horns pierced the killer's chest and held his body over its head for more than ten days, which was very touching.Around 3pm, I walked out of the Pur basin. The next point was Hong Shan Daban and then it was the Yueya Hu by the Toze Gangri. At this time I found a vehicle track from south to north. I checked over but could not find the way where they had gone. I took my map, GPS, and compass, climbing up a small hill to estimate the location of Hong Shan Daban. The mountain was very round and it was hard to find the mountain pass. After determining the location of the Daban, I moved straightforward. When I passed a messy grassland, I saw something that I was reluctant to see more than hundreds of wild yaks' head scattered all over, which was definitely the scene of the illegal hunting. After that it was a very long ancient river bed with soft sand slowly rising until the foot of the mountain.There are some spines on the surface of the tongues of wild yaks, which are used by nomads in this area as combs. They use them from their teens to the time when their hair becomes silver.The deserted Jeep, could be left by illegal hunters years agoThe slaughtered wild yaks with the wheel size heads. Some of the skulls were chopped into half. Why was that? Could be taken away for making combs?My camp at the foot of the Daban underthe lingering golden rays of the setting sun. Tomorrow's weather must be wonderful, I reckoned Day 11(April 30), 20.4km, Camping 5120mThe surface of the road leading to Hong Shan Daban was very hard, most of them were small rocks, sort of gravels, plus a quite long downhill slope, I pushed my bike more than 20km for the first time after Luxing Hu. The mountain pass was quite flat, just like a broad ridge, it was 5256m above the sea level. Upon arriving at the pass, Toze Gangri of 6356m was in my sight clearly, very much round and there was no back bone like normal snow covered mountains. Most of the snow mountains in Chang Tang looked like this probably it was due to the geological movements. There were quite a few chirus or Tibetan antelopes in the valley but I was not interested in this kind of animals anymore after I witnessed a large scale of migration of such animals last year elsewhere.The herbivorous animals here are very quick to reach its original size of the population, such as wild yaks, chirus, Tibetan gazelle, pika, and marmot. When you go into the depths of the Chang Tang, you could hardly be surpised by the sudden appearance of the chirus because they are so common in here. At this time of year, the chirus have already male-female parted. You could see many pregnant female chirus but hardly see any males. According to recent research, Zonag Co is not the only lake for breeding. There are at least four of them in the whole Chang Tang. Zonag Co, Tuzi Hu, Heishi Beihu, and another lake I can not remember. I think there must be more than four of them and most of the populations do not migrant long way like most people used to think. They generally migrant from south to north between Central Mountains and Kunlun Mountains.The chirus looks very timid but are very curious about outside world. They are not really afraid of people, particularly in the depth of the Chang Tang. The nearest distance we can approach is about 30m. They just stare at you calmly and think who you are and why you move so slow. They would run in front of you. Look like they are afraid of you but the fact is they are playing with you. A man's own character shapes his fortune. This is of course suit for animals too. The chirus are the typical one. They have a super speed and a pair of sharp antlers. If they are crazy, three of them work together could easily kill a wolf. But as you might have known, their antlers are just for fighting to mate with females.Down the Daban there was a very steep and straight road, I tried to ride the bicycle but ended up with falling over. The front rack came loose and one of the pannier flew into valley. The foot of the mountain was the Yueya Hu covered by ice, which was alake full of heavy metal elements. Along the lake bank there were many stark rocks very much weathered, lining up just like castles or houses. This made me stop to investigate what they were from time to time, I did understand they were just rocks though but they were so real like the figures of real people. On of them even made me hide in a ditch, observing them again and again using my binoculars. There were also many black volcanic rocks. All in all, the features of this area were really unusual.Passed over the Yueya Hu, it was an endless ancient lake bed. What my GPS showed was this area was a big lake like tentacles. I looked around, it was endless wilderness without a piece of ice and a drop of water. Roughly, I estimated this lake bed was about 1200 square meters. I had to tell you that Chang Tang was a place where there was no high-resolution map. The marks in the map often were some kind of memory. Just like this ancient lake bed under my feet, may be it was full of water a few years ago. Who knows. Pushing the bike in such an endless lake bed was very easy to get lost. About wildlife (part 1)Declaration Personal experience for reference onlyDangerous wild animals and their threats to human beings are a ever-LASTING subject for those backpackers travelling in the wild.In Chang Tang, for example, there are two kinds of deadly animals, one is wolves and the other is brawn bears. As substitutes, wild yaks and crows might be dangerous to you in some circumstances that I will come back to this a little bit later on. As for how to protect yourself against these dangerous animals, I think the primary point is you do not try to hurt them because the emotions of human and animals are same instinctively. [Wolves]Throughout my journey, I met wolves a total of seven times, in which I confronted them five times. As you might have known that wolves have become more and more solitary animals, it is very rare they live in a large group nowadays. Please allow me off the point a little bit and talk about the ecological problems in Chang Tang. The problem is now not the decrease of the number of the chirus but the imbalance of the whole food chain, more specifically, the number of the animals on the higher trophic levels of the food chain has not yet reached its ideal level which results in this kind of imbalance. Particularly, the pikas and the marmots who have lost their predators rapidly expanse which results in the desertification of Chang Tang. As early as the middle of last century, wolves were the dominant predators in the vast wilderness. They became a threat not only to other preys but also nomads pasturing in this land. Therefore, the then government called on people to cull back the population of the wolves in Chang Tang, which resulted in the current situation directly. The last official record about wolves attacking humans was around 1970s, which happened in Bamaoqiongzong. A team of secientists was surrounded by a group of wolves and they had to shoot them using guns. Of course, at present in Chang Tang, wolves are absolutely lonely.In this traverse, the first time I encountered a pair of wolves, one of them staying in front of me pretending to attack me while the other staying behind me. This is the standard attacking strategy of wolves. First, you should not be nervous which can be easily detected by the predators. Second, you should not retreat even an inch because this means you are the prey rather than the predator. Do not make any large movement, of course you could take a picture if you feel safe to do so. You must look into its eyes for a few minutes or even half an hour. When the wolves can not work out who you are and consider you are not posing any danger to them, then they will leave. You should remember that wolves in this land do not lack of food and it is much easy for them to catch a pika than a human. Even if being hungry, they would evaluate how easy to get you done, What you need to do is to show them that you are not interested in them and you are not afraid of them at all, let alone to show your ID card to them. As for the wolves family, really, I have not heard for ages. If you really have an encounter with them and they have no other choice, then it definitely depends on your forture. In fact, for so many year, it has been very rare to happen that wolves kill human. But the rumours are still there, in particular, the road connecting Xinjiang and Tibet.The nearest encounter with a wolf throughout my journey, no conflict at all[Brown Bears]Brown bears are real dangerous animals to human. Every year there are some accidents happened in some regions of Xinjiang on the north side of Kunkun Mountains and steppes in Northern Tibet. More than that the bears could attack your house, smash your windows, and eat your sheep. On the shore of this type of small lakes it was muddy soil and very hard to get closer.There was no sign of tundra at all.It was almost half past six when I found some snow corns in a ditch, which was the only drinking water supply of the day. There was a thin layer of melted ice on the surface of the ground near the snow corn, which was very hard to collect and was contaminated by the alkali. The snow corn was the yet melted thick snow, which was shaped like a corn by wind. The snow was quite hard and dry,porous like ice. I crushed a few snow corns, putting them into the water bag.They would be my drinking water tonight. These snow corns were the only one in today's wilderness, I reckoned the reason why they were not melted like others was the soil underneath contained large amount of ice blocks which acted as a freezer.Very strong gale in the night, it was hard to bear the sound of the vibration of the tent. Small single tent was good in the sense that it would not be blown away as long as you stayed inside. But you had to be very careful to set up the tent. I once did not pay much attention when doing so, the tent was blown away by winds, and rolling over like a Giant lantern ... I ran after it, got it back, and was exhausted. In general, it is not possible to fix the tent completely using tent pegs because they were not very much effective like large tents. It was snowing around 23 o'clock, the winds were howling from north,then the falling snow flakes landed on my tent quietly, I finally felt at peace and fell asleep. I was no longer short of water, the snow gave me a precious supply of drinking water. The problem was that they were very petrol consuming. I tool 8.6 litre of petrol and the oil stove was Duola's MSR. The pot was of 1.5 litre, mainly for boiling water. After several days' experiments, I found that the liquid water needed 16mins and 14-15mins to boil in the morning and evening, respectively. For ice, it would take 35-40mins while for snow it took 45-50mins. Melting snow was a very time and petrol consuming process so if I had a choice between snow and light alkaline water, most of time I would go with the latter. Lying inside the tent, listening to musics,I smoked a cigarette while gazing at the more and more chirus around me. Because it was very cold I had been wearing my shoes all the time. Now I just put my bare feet under the warm sun for some fresh air. I found three cuts in my hands and one in my sole. The cuts were about 4cm in length, looked terrible but it was actually all right really. Half of my toes were injured by to much walking, quite painful. I fetched my medicine bag and found I only got four patches of plasters, a serious mistake. One of the cuts in my hand had never been cured until I was out of this desolate land so as to feel like this finger would drop from my hand at any time. The others quickly recovered in a few days then new cuts appeared elsewhere. This process occurred periodically. I felt that it was somewhat related to the cold, dry weather and the lack of vitamins. The snow rapidly disappeared, which is unique phenomenon in Chang Tang. Because of the low air humidity and the high radiation from the sun, the snow was evaporating very fast, much quicker than the melting speed. Owing to this, the ground was generally still dry after the snow disappeared. In most cases, it would be only 2/5 left in the afternoon around 2 to 3 o'clock and small patches of ground could be seen. It would be completely all right for walking the next day. On the third day there could be some snow left in somewhere the sunlight hard to reach. So generally it could give you three days of water supply after a heavy snow like this.
