记得还是去年,偶然从一个新闻报道上听说今年,太阳活动开始增强,其实就是太阳表面放射的离子流变多了。 除了磁暴,它本身并不会给地球带来太多影响,估计也就是哪哪的通讯信号被中断,或者突然停电。 然而对于一个摄影师来讲,这可是千载难逢的机会。 为什么呢? 那是因为地球大气层的磁极(也就是南极和北极)的氧离子和氮离子会被太阳风暴干扰而造成色彩斑斓的极光。 小编那个时候就已经有了拍极光的打算,经过断断续续的路线,景点,摄影研究后,北欧极光之旅的行程在今年年中出炉了。目的地大概有4个,主要是瑞典,挪威,冰岛与格陵兰岛,沿着北极极光带转,如果运气好就能拍到。如果运气不好,也能把这几个地方的名胜景区转一转,比如冰川,城市,火山,瀑布什么的。 全程耗时一个月,算是比较辛苦了。因为是自助游,所以时间安排比较灵活机动,但由于机票,交通,酒店提前都已经有了预定,所以也不会和计划的有太大出入。 再来就是会比较费体力,费精力: 车要自己开,没有旅行社的照顾,一切沟通交流基本靠自己,万一路上出点什么事也得硬抗着。 先不废话了,发一组图再说。(如无特别注明,以下图片均为小编原创,独发8264,请勿转载)2. 北欧极光摄影之旅 - 瑞典 (基律纳+ 阿比斯库)初遇极光 https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1949117-1-1.html3. 北欧极光摄影之旅 - 挪威 (令人伤心的特鲁姆索) https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1954266-1-1.html4. 北极极光摄影之旅 - 挪威 (阿尔塔 + 北角)北欧大陆的“最北端” https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1960333-1-1.html 5. 北欧极光摄影之旅 - 格陵兰(努克的极光) https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1973832-1-1.html既然是摄影旅行,相机是必不可少的,行李箱里的其他东西不说,在这先介绍下摄影装备吧:1. 相机: 佳能5D MARK III, PHASE ONE 645DF IQ140套机。2. 镜头: 佳能 24-70mm 二代,16-35mm 广角, 70-200mm 中长焦, 8-16mm 鱼眼。 施耐德 50mm 头,施耐德 AFD Tele-Xenar 180mm f/2.8 HFT PQ Lens。3. 配件: 三脚架, 快门线,相机防寒防雨套。重点!!! 每台相机至少2块电池, CF储存卡多多益善。下面的图片是第二期的预览图哟!! 有极光哟!大家要继续支持呀!初遇极光:https//bbs.8264.com/thread-1949117-1-1.html介绍瑞典之前先说说证, 办 "申根证" , 不用我说也知道对吧?没错,不过去哪办可不是每个人都知道了, 如果你的目的地里包括“格陵兰岛” 那么请你务必去丹麦大使馆办理申根证并注明要去格陵兰。 “什么?? 旅行社和证代理都说去行程里第一个目的地办申根???” 那么无所谓啦,恭喜你格陵兰岛的计划报销了。再次说一次 : 想去格陵兰 ---到丹麦大使馆办申根!瑞典: "欧盟第三大国家,人均收入全球第八,全球第二民主的社会,人类发展指数全球第七,2013年被评为治理最好的国家 和 全球第二有名的国家!" 听起来是不是很屌!!?? 最可恶的是他们男的几乎全超过175cm, 女人随便站出来一个都能当模特!还出了像“瓦尔德内尔” 和 “伊布”这样有名的运动员。 啥?? 你没听说过,好吧,你和我其中一位肯定是OUT了。 (图片转自网络)我坐的是俄罗斯航空公司的航班,到斯德哥尔摩之前会在莫斯科转机,没什么特殊的就是便宜(相对国航和SAS北欧航空)。 不是我在这排挤国航的飞机,那前后座位之间的距离是个180cm以上的人就会卡膝盖,你少放两排座椅会死啊?让大家坐着舒服点嘛! 连菲律宾航空公司都比国航舒服。等飞机之前先休息一下吧,因为是晚上的航班,上飞机后估计直接就睡了。俄罗斯妹子的样子那是没得说的,这空姐有点像莎拉波娃! 但是留的是乌克兰前女总理的发型! (抱歉没来得及偷拍) 看上去非常可爱。不过想想,跟我八竿子也打不上关系,还是赶紧睡吧。莫斯科的机场,算是我走过的第2奇葩的机场了,法国戴高乐排第一,步行从D航站楼到F, 大概花了15分钟,我是来溜大街的是嘛!?? 想起来就一肚子气,估计可能D航站楼全都是去亚洲的航班,而F是去欧洲的。 不平等待遇你知道是什么吗?不是F比D好, 也不是工作人员看人的态度,而是为毛整个机场除了商务舱休息室有WIFI以外, 另一个有免费WIFI的场所竟然是吸烟室!!!??下面那个坐着的短发MM是我喜欢的类型~~莫斯科机场 - 瑞典斯德哥尔摩 ARLANDA国际机场到了斯德哥尔摩以后简单在机场询问了下去城里的交通,为了明天做打算,今晚就住在机场附近了。去城里差不多25公里,可以做机场快线 "Arlanda Express" , 机场大巴 "Flygbussarna" 或者 TAXI, 基本第3个选择可以排除了。Arlanda Express 单程 200多瑞典克朗,周四到周日优惠。Flygbussarna 单程 99克朗 (就选它了)。TAXI 450+ 克朗机场大巴每10分钟一班,上车点就在机场正门,3,4,5候机楼都有停靠站。问清楚以后我就开始找酒店穿梭巴士。 目的地:JUMBO HOSTEL图片为莫斯科机场JUMBO HOSTEL这个酒店是用一架波音747飞机改造的,2008年底开始营业,就坐落在机场旁边,做穿梭巴士3分钟就到了。 一共有27个房间,多数不带厕所和浴室,差不多也就是5-6平米,小的可怜,但是很遗憾房价并不便宜。共有5间公共卫浴室,一间咖啡厅。因为与其他队员不同,小编提前一晚到了斯德哥尔摩。拖着几件行礼,总得找个地方住啊!不然转天的城市游就没精神了。 之前就通过网络查看了阿兰达机场附近的酒店信息,就这间还便宜点。坐着机场酒店穿梭巴士,也就是5分钟左右就到了。“我靠!还真是一架波音747啊!” 前台就在飞机的进出口,但是…尼玛貌似还得爬梯子上去吗?! 走到跟前发现原来有个电梯,我如释重负。 话说回来这电梯有点奇怪,要一直按住按钮,它才会下来,速度比蜗牛还慢! 没有小伙伴的我当时就惊呆了。更神奇的还在后面,进门以后就要脱鞋啦!郁闷了,哥这次没准备拖鞋啊! 前台服务员还是很客气的,简单登记后就可以入住了,要了一间靠近马路的房间 (大家不要骂我笨,因为另一边靠近飞机跑道,更吵!!!) 走进房间本人直接呆住了,上下铺的床,没有放行李的架子,没有桌子,没有椅子,只有一个窟窿大的飞机窗户,一共不到6平米的地方,连做早操的空间都木有,这是让哥坐牢的节奏吗??打开20寸的小电视,所有频道全都是听不懂的北欧语,逼我去睡觉啊!浴室在飞机的尾部,有3间,唯一欣慰的就是水还是比较热的。这么逊的客房!你们说一晚得多少钱?凌晨差不多4点钟,我被冻醒了,就再也睡不着了,拿着三脚架和相机去开始为这次摄影之旅预热一下吧。虽然才刚10月份,可是凌晨的瑞典还是很冷的,看着东南方的朝霞慢慢显露出来,给这种寒冷的气氛带来了一丝暖色调。架好三脚架,尝试不同的快门速度,和光圈,出来的效果还是令人满意的。jumbo 对面的Radisson Blu Hotel机头被设计成为了一个咖啡厅就是吃饭的场所啦!厨房在机头下面,就是放托运行李的地方。可能在这10分钟内,唯一经过这条路的就是机场穿梭巴士了飞机的翅膀和机身旁边修了一个步行台,走一趟25克朗。 远处的亮灯处就是机场了。来个全身照!我对你的定义就是徒有其表!!!差不多拍了30分钟,我实在受不了了,评嘛别人都在被窝里,只有我自己在这挨冻?老子不干了! 回客房,继续补养颜觉。结果刚进飞机就发现咖啡厅的早餐已经准备好了,也就是烤面包片,煮鸡蛋,果酱啥的,随便吃点吧。吃的时候顺便跟前台的服务员聊了聊,原来这里只有一个服务员,前台,厨师,打扫房间,浴室的都是单人负责。几个人轮流负责不同的时段,看样子也是挺辛苦的。吃完早饭又回房间睡了个回头觉,希望今天的城市游会比较顺利。起来结完账就去提前预定好的酒店 RADDISON BLU迎接其他队员了,说得也巧,就在JUMBO的对面,貌似 RADISSON BLU 酒店和SAS北欧航空公司有着千丝万缕的关系,每座北欧大机场外绝对有一间。别怪哥没提醒你,北欧酒店的床是我出国以后见过最窄的,如果你不喜欢睡在只有一米宽的单人床的话,我建议你还是给自己订个DOUBLE BED ROOM吧。安顿下其他队员后,我们开始了正式的北欧之旅,今天的目的地是斯德哥尔摩老城区 GAMLA STAN,市政厅,顺便拍拍街景。在Radisson Blue 外面就是机场酒店shuttle bus 14路的停靠站。Radisson Blu 大厅里的取暖炉,烧柴火的,还挺有意思。不过后来还去了ABISKO的酒店,自己换柴火烧炉子!!北欧人民非常喜欢阅读,在当今IPAD电子书盛行的时代,他们依然经常捧着厚厚的书本埋头阅读。就好比现在国内,虽然“麦,肯,必”随处可见,但大家依然保持着 煎饼果子,豆浆稀饭的优良传统。Flygbussarna 停靠在了中央火车站的旁边,步行到老城区需要大概20分钟。我们一行9人只有两位懂英语,初到北欧还是决定大家一起行动比较方便。 连接老城区中央地带与新市区的是一条步行街,外国游客很多,两旁开满了咖啡厅,餐厅和旅游商品店。 我们漫步在这条街道慢慢感受着北欧不同的文化。这条街道叫Drottninggatan, 通往着圣灵岛。这条步行街上每隔几十米就会提供座椅给游客休息,让我感到了温暖。垃圾箱也是随处可见,在清洁的街道上漫步一点也不觉得累。午餐时间到了,当地人都喜欢坐在外面就餐,这也是饮食文化的一部分吧!?通往圣灵岛的桥,在圣灵岛上有 斯瑞典议会和中世纪博物馆。 图片中央的是 International IDEA (institute for Democracy and Electoral Assisstance) :民主选举学院, 不知道跟党校是不是一回事。斯德哥尔摩的建筑都是5-6层高的楼,很少有摩天大楼。 比较特殊的建筑还有 “爱立信大球” 被誉为全世界最大球型建筑。不过这次本人并没有拜访。是不是风景如画?从圣灵岛开始几乎都是中世纪建筑了,连大门都这么有气势!在连接圣灵岛与GAMLA STAN的桥 - stallbron上回头拍摄, 岸上是“瑞典议会 Sveriges Riksdag"GAMLA STAN The Old Town 就是老城的意思了,这个岛上的建筑可以追溯到13世纪,中世纪的街景,道路上铺满了鹅卵石,北日耳曼的古式建筑遍布在这里。([]

说起来挺白痴的这个月我才知道8264是中国最好的户外论坛。潜水学习了很长一段时间就是为了买到适合我的装备从功能内衣开始,到棉服,背包都快成了只鸟人了装备越来越好长途出行的机会依旧还是很少很少看着论坛里大家满世界的晃荡静静的走,开心的笑 思绪啊尼玛满天飞啊想起还有二十天又能去西藏了想起了去年的九月我的第一次长途远行https//www.tudou.com/programs/view/5LWqna2XB6A/先看完这个短片再看游记就这样我提着我的轮滑鞋,沿着川藏南线 一路向前游记分为:路上篇 拉萨篇https//www.tudou.com/programs/view/UGWStX71ivI/?reSourceId=0_06_02_99-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------路上就第一天写了游记新沟遇到王岩后瞬间变懒边看照片边写才慢慢有头绪所以游记很重要记忆更关键回来开始正常的生活后所有路上的心情感悟通通被暂时埋进大脑直到11月5号跟朋友做了一个分享有的东西才渐渐浮出在脑海里顺成一条线且清晰起来 轮滑318 多少都是需要一些冲动和勇气的 从没想过我会走 更没想过会以轮滑的方式 在决定这次行动后 我用了十多个晚上看了无数帖子 召集了无数次人 就现在看来 一切的一切依旧像场梦 那么的不真实一路上伴我同行的人很多出现的消失的也有很多无论怎样大家有缘能在川藏线上相遇就值得珍惜四面八方的朋友萍水相逢的偶遇匆匆而过的擦肩这一切的一切都成了川藏线上的旋律 序言出发前最后一个下午网购的各种配件才陆续到达挣扎了最后十分钟我拿着VISA鼓起勇气买下了心仪已久的全套TNF现在想起依旧肉疼 无知者无畏不知道是兴奋还是懒第一次出远门的我直到凌晨3点才开始匆忙打包早上9点直到朋友车到了楼下还在各种忙最后好像还麻烦人家开车去买了个充电宝在新南门车站在一堆人的送别中在各种思绪纠结中坐上了到雅安的大巴离开了当时对我来说无限痛苦的城市 哦 忘了说我就是个因为失恋才决定轮滑川藏线的傻鼻而已没有什么值得骄傲的理由在上车那瞬间,我拨通了她电话 没有想象中的激动生人般客套了几下 车发动我重重的喘了一口气是不是每一个走318的童鞋心里都有一段故事?不得而知总之在路上了就真的义无反顾 朝向那片天堂,我的动力是信仰9月16号新南门车站1620成都----雅安 142KM 大巴潇洒而过——没有什么能够阻挡,我对自由的向往。天马行空的生涯,我的心了无牵挂。 在车上,在那条从未去过的路上,我激动,各种动,犹如火山喷发般,杀人犯出狱般的用照片宣泄我出来了 在雅安车站,四川农大的66们用最热情的方式迎接了他们心中的英雄---一个傻逼,一个跟着傻逼一起傻逼的傻逼 第一次来雅安,我就感受了川农大轮滑协会的热情,还伴着雅雨一群人光脚丫漫步在璀璨的夜景下,吃着干锅。那一夜,我一秒变阿哥 回到招待所,看着盘旋而上的楼梯。一层层,由低到高。成都到拉萨,平原到天空。我知道,我会在那留下痕迹,一步一步在雅安招待所住的一晚,我战战兢兢,生怕没能用力享受川藏线上也许是最高档的住宿,各种闹剧。看着外面下着的大雨,房间里散乱的东西,还有靠近中午的时间,走还是留? 初步估计今天必须得到新沟,78公里水泥路,又纠结了个把小时,下楼买了迷你洗脸帕,迷你牙膏,迷你香皂。。吃个午饭,不过我和总理好像都不知道318在哪儿,在出租车司机佩服的目光中我们感到了雅安318路段,可耻的是在车上我们还想着要不今天打车直达新沟得了[p=22, null, left] 12点,终于鼓起勇气出发,刚开始,新鲜劲使不完,不停在路上做着各种转身,尽管背后有着一个50L的烂包。在各个交叉路口,两个方向感白痴看着路牌都不敢判断,数次停下来询问路人,有次问面馆老板都还不好意思,非得买点东西才开口稍微好看点的风景,就停下来摆造型,一路晃悠晃悠,两个人一路豪言壮语,什么拉萨,我来了。拉萨不是梦。一切都是浮云直到下午到达进入天全境,看着路牌还有几十公里,才开始慌忙赶路新鲜劲一用完,我就有气无力了,一开始面对上坡的时候还鼓励自己,这只是为我后面滑行5千米高峰热身,下坡的时候还各种跳跃,耍帅,恨不得让路边所有看到我们当一个又一个上坡不停出现的时候,我的体力也崩溃了,一路负重40斤滑行40多公里对我这个出发前轮滑过一次30公里的菜鸟来说,真够意思了悲催的是,新速滑鞋内靴好像抵得脚踝痛了,整顿,路边修养 直到下午快四点的时候,还有34公里,打车吧,那会还没打免费车的意识。在路边苦等半个小时,被逼无奈之下,我跟队友像条狗一样的开始亡命赶路,34公里,必须到新沟脚痛,忍着,这趟出来是为了什么,忍不了也得给我受着滑了三公里,脚踝是在是受不了,脱掉速滑鞋马上就不痛。。总理把护腕给我绑在脚踝上,减轻下痛苦吧, 就这样在脚痛,心急的情绪下一路疾驰,不敢停下,在下午六点半的时候来到了新沟在新沟,脱鞋弄脚的时候,旁边一太婆说,我这一晚十块,让我毫不犹豫的冲进了房间,三人间,20快两个人包场 当年读书那会儿咋不知道骑行呢哎这是我们今晚的十元房间在这里,遇到了我们318上第一个车友--王岩,知道了搭伴,捡人,这些特别的词语,知道了在这些骑行客栈墙上是可以乱涂乱画的,还有出来都是要旅行攻略的,当晚我们一起拼饭,感觉异常兴奋,还能拼饭啊哈哈知道他从上海出发,我们轮滑去拉萨,在一阵互相佩服仰慕中我们各自回到了我们的房间一句:我在爬坡,为什么满脑子都是你的身影让我独自在黑夜中点着头灯直到天明,处女座真TM纠结 天明,希望接下来的行程能让我忘掉一切吧318心灵之旅新沟---泸定(想快乐就得先付出)早早的被岩哥叫起,匆忙的收拾背包,面对半斤面条风卷残云 还附了三个鸡蛋 穿鞋那刻,所有美好的心情通通消失,痛!一股脑的往鞋里,脚上套厚东西,穿了五双袜。总理跟岩哥在外面整装待发容不得我多想,走想当年在极限赛场,韧带趋近撕断,一针封闭,照样坚持。夹着一点痛一些倔强,跟上了他们的步伐,在小店买上了今天中午的干粮为了照顾我们,岩哥放慢了速度,边滑边侃,毕竟是第一次近距离接触骑行川藏的人,兴奋暂时压住了脚痛有攻略吗? 伤不起啊,我们无奈的套上了防风头巾滑了几公里,坑坑洼洼,歪歪斜斜。有的地方觉得不好滑,就徒步走一段,后来想慢慢适应烂路,又穿上鞋。毕竟后面还要面对几百公里烂路 队友知道我脚痛,放慢了速度,可还是被落在了后面独自滑在烂路上, 看着路边的风景,不禁唏嘘:一周前的我,还在成都做着自己的事,虽忙碌却也简单,代步都用摩托虽然喜欢轮滑,却也宁可用轮滑鞋玩各种腾空动作,都不会滑上十公里----世事难料啊 特别是胡思乱想走神后,在一个坑坑洼洼的地方接二连三的摔了爬,爬了摔,那种无力感充斥全身。车经过扬的阵阵灰尘跟战场硝烟般,我像个战败的将军用战刀(登山杖)支撑着这具灵魂破损的躯壳也许是因为很久没有跟上,队友折转回来“小骆 走啊,岩哥还在前面等我们呢”是啊,人生除了爱情 还有更珍贵的感情比如 友情 总理把我扶起来。看了看手臂上轻微的擦伤。冲吧 咱不能让岩哥等得太久https//www.tudou.com/programs/view/9jUHau_sF1c/慢慢开始习惯颠簸的感觉,速度也越来越快,固定轮子的串钉也越来越松,时不时需要扭紧路过买水的地方 “小伙子,你的风火轮掉了”回头一看,还在呢。玩笑后,我们继续前行,尽管路还是烂,脚依旧痛,心情却越来越好今天的路程海拔是从1330上升到2300,不过几百米的小下坡还是有好几个。好路下坡轮滑也没什么,可当你面对坑坑洼洼的烂路,用轮滑来冲坡,换队友纠结了管它,心情大好的我,先侧着走了几步,示范性的冲了下去用手机记录下了一切,我想见证这一路。不管其他,只想到达看到一个载猪的皮卡经过,我跟队友一人一边吊在车旁,两只脚在各种大石头之间磕磕碰碰,不到五十米,都给甩了下来。一路狂奔,中午一点,终于看到了水泥路 也跟岩哥在这儿会师找个馆子一人三两大面,听着旁边修车师傅摆着黄色龙门阵,西里呼噜的吃完这边的人其实不错。。哈哈剩下的30公里的水泥路差不多都是上坡“看吧,不行咱就搭车”我跟总理相视而笑在城市都没怎么滑过长途就直接转到高海拔上坡滑行真的是一种煎熬滑几步就往前看,越看越觉得没尽头记得十公里上坡,就花了3个半小时。两只手处着登山杖手心都在痛队友说我买的登山杖1o多快一根,不靠谱脚踝也因为受力太大出汗打湿的卫生巾都不起作用了两个人默契的在路边休息,抽烟买的水喝完了,就公用总理带的水杯(我连水杯都没买) 再次出发在山路上两只脚使劲的蹬登山杖使劲的抵背包背负系统使劲的松(都是在X宝上买的便宜货)连卫生巾都在使劲的换人家一个月用几天,我一天用几次做女人难,做用卫生巾的男人难上加难在山坡上又挣扎了好几公里看着在盘山公路上慢吞吞的货车一辆辆擦肩而过“搭车吧” “我们说好不搭车的,这才几天”“你不搭车,你的脚扛得住?” “扛不住”“你不搭车,我们这速度到得了” “不知道”“你今天就扛不住了,后面还有上千公里你咋办? 都搭车?还是回家?" 今天这十多公里搭车就是为了以后更多的路段不搭车,咱不能因小失大-----我用这个近乎扯淡的道理安慰着自己其实说真的,我早想搭车了我不是个特有自控力的人,更何况脚伤还让我无法发挥自己感觉还算强大的技术这趟轮滑川藏,我又不是想证明给谁看--我有多牛也不是想通过全程滑完,体现什么坚定的心,好让那女孩儿回心转意更不想用轮滑缔造什么狗屁传奇所以我不需要跟谁交代,只需对得起我的心说老实话,那会儿真想搭车我还是别虚伪的好互相做好双方的思想工作,理直气壮的站着等车后来发现在转弯处货车速度要慢点,就专门到那儿守株待兔在看到卡车临近的瞬间,我做突击手,抢先从侧面冲上去,一把抓住车的尾部,用登山杖把队友给扯过来拖车顺利,目直指康定拖着车尾一会儿嘻嘻哈哈一会儿跟路人招手卡车开了一段后跟岩哥檫肩而过那瞬间仿佛看到了他鄙视的眼神特不自在感觉对不起他虽然只处了两天但那种感觉在我心里特窝心“我希望能见证你们的奇迹”-----这句话在我脑子里ong ong回荡 管他都看到了那就接着拖吧后来在路上还碰到个骑车的“老头”,也没给他打招呼,是不好意思,觉得特丢脸其实拖车也不是我想象的那般轻松两只手拖在货车尾,双脚在地面疾驰,随时还得注意路面的小坑拖了几公里,右脚踝还是震得受不了而且车速越来越快,这种震荡一直持续,越来越受不了。单脚拖在车尾的话,危险性又太高在离康定城区还有四五公里的地方,实在扛不住了,撒手。第一时间扔掉背包,脱鞋,就这样躺在路边,任他车来车往如果不是因为太冷要加衣服,我相信我不会起来痛,痛彻心扉的痛,当时的脚连高帮的登山鞋都没法穿上岩哥到了,我想跟他们一起滑进康定城,却因为脚踝不能穿轮滑鞋我徒步,走了很久,在入城的那条大道上,岩哥,总理依旧在那儿等着我当晚住登巴,三人间,一人20 吃饭,买红景天,买脚伤药,找修鞋的地方弄内靴吃饭的时候不停的埋怨,怎样怎样,一直在给自己的脚伤找借口电话里给最好的朋友说这件事,他希望我有问解决问,不想我这样后来冷静分析,脚踝痛1轮子太大,11厘米一个,出发前没穿过这么大的轮,人根本不适应2上坡一直需要脚踝不停发力3虽然这款鞋是最顶级的马拉松鞋,但他的设计也主要在平地。没人在高原测试过,内胆相 比单板内胆,极限轮滑鞋内胆薄很多4我完全没有长途轮滑经验我不想爱给自己找借口的缺点一直延续下去一边想办法让当地修鞋师父调整鞋的同时,让我朋友帮我看看成都轮滑店有没内靴厚点的一面让他们把我家里的极限鞋内靴明天让客车给我送过来------实在不行,大不了等脚伤好了我再出发,一个人上路,依旧精彩 那晚,客栈大厅,碰到了几个徒步加搭车去西藏的-----川大猥琐男,福建三人组,这是我第一次看到所谓徒步的聊了很久,在大厅笔记本上留下了我的心情看着今天的烂路视频 睡觉晚安 明天休整一天我相信一切会更好([]
这是6个女人的旅行,自从2012年6个女人来了趟缅甸之旅后,心就越来越野,胆子也越来越大。一年忙碌后,到了年底,突然发现去美国的机票好便宜,就一拍即合决定去美西自驾。因为其中三人去年4月已经去美西自驾一次,所以有点犹豫,想起电影西雅图夜未眠,心血来潮就把西雅图加进去,然后又发现西雅图是去阿拉斯加的门户,于是就决定继续向北,去阿拉斯加看极光。 订票订房订车,不到两周6个女人就起程了,三个女人一台戏,六个女人出行注定是一场热闹之旅。 终于到了要出发的日子,因为6个女人,两个有2-3年驾龄,两个今年刚买车,一个有照不会开,一个连驾照都没有,所以决定只租一台车,如此一来都没开过大车,就想租个小点的商务车,这样就担心行李舱放不下6件大行李,于是出发前手忙脚乱的拼箱子,争取只带4个大箱子,于是办公室里被我们搞的一片大乱。去不成又心有不甘的男同事,不时在旁边打击着我们,比如阿拉斯加自驾冰雪路很危险之类的。但心已经飞走的女人们虽然内心不安,却都被激动的情绪冲的根本听不进去。 中午大家在楼下的餐厅聚餐吃了火锅,办公室所有人把我们送到楼下,当时嘴上都没说什么,但总感觉送行有点过于隆重,有点像十送红军的感觉,搞的好像多久回不来似的。毕竟阿拉斯加实在太遥远了,虽然去阿拉斯加看极光是我们的人生愿景,可是这么快就要实现,总觉得有那么点不真实。 机场等待出发,6个女人要拍个出发的合影,自己先拍了一张,觉得还是应该找个人拍合影,于是抓了个旁边候机的帅哥,那帅哥早已注意到这帮疯疯癫癫的女人,一看找他很高兴的过来帮忙,一副早就等着召唤的模样,拍一张还热情的说,看看行不行,不行在给你们拍,看了6个女人走到哪里都很引人注目呢。 微信发出去,立即有回复,你们去哪里?怎么还未成年人禁止入内呀。看看思想不纯洁不是,不就是没注意站到吸烟室门前了吗? 香港中转,在候机室品品咖啡吃吃蛋糕,说实话香港的点心味道真心不错。国泰航空的餐饮还是不错了,冰淇淋还是哈根达斯,早餐还有稀饭。就是十几个小时的飞行时间实在难熬。但女人适应环境的能力是很强的,看,要杯红酒把自己弄得小脸通红,准备酒后睡个好觉的,三人椅子,一头一个抱着对方的脚的,另一个哪去了?原来自我升舱到卧铺了。虽然不太雅观,但毕竟可以躺下睡会了。微信发出又是一片喧哗,这方法不错呀,下次我们也这样之类的。不过这个也只能是我们了,几个女人可以,如果换成大男人这样,呵呵,不太可能吧。为什么?你懂得。抵达洛杉矶是晚上8点多,一夜休息,精神抖擞。天气很好,根本没有中央电视台说的什么,美国到处遭遇暴风雪,走之前搞的家人担心我们,我们自己也担心很冷,带的全部是厚衣服,前半程西部自驾,都没带多少薄衣服,热的够呛。酒店门前阳光灿烂,等着免费班车送我们去租车处提车。 我们租车为了讨便宜找了个特价车,果然是便宜没好货,美国也有钓鱼,先拿便宜价钓来客人,然后再以升级车辆,推销保险等待手段加收费用。结果所以的推销备我们拒绝,那家伙很是不高兴。事实证明那台车果然不好,尤其是刹车肉的要命,在高速上踩三脚刹车,还是往前滑吓死人。就这么台车却是我们开的最长,天数最多的,而且后来发现我们认为小点的车好开,纯属误区,后来租的三台车都更大,但却比这台好开的多。 最最郁闷的是行李箱小,6个女人想尽办法,几度调整,最终行李箱里只放进三个大箱子,还有一大一小只能放在后排的车座上。 由于大部分人都到过洛杉矶,环球影城和迪斯尼也都去过了,白天也没有什么特别的活动,因为晚上要看NBA的比赛,所以只能在洛杉矶市内转转,先去圣塔莫妮卡海滩。这个海滩是洛杉矶最热闹的海滩,夏天会有很多人在这里晒太阳,游泳冲浪。但现在已经是12月了,海滩上没有几个人。 其实对于我们来说,这个海滩的风景实在是没什么,但女人就是这样的感性动物,不管什么环境都能自娱自乐。 这也太能自得其乐,就这么个管理员的小木屋都能让我们臭美半天虽然已经12月,洛杉矶依然很暖和,当天气温近30度,戏水完全没有问; 海滩上有很多海鸥,牠们丝毫不怕人其实到圣塔莫妮卡海滩最重要的原因就是这里,66号公路的终点。66号公路是美国的母亲之路。在19世纪时是一条跑马车的路,1927年美国政府投资修路,断断续续修路十几年,终于修成了这条贯穿美国东西海岸的公路,东起芝加哥西止于洛杉矶的圣塔莫妮卡,全长近4000公路。当时正值美国30年代经济大萧条时期,公路的修建为大批劳工提供了工作的机会,其后也为美国西部的开发起到了至关重要的作用。对于我们来说,最熟悉的就是阿甘在66号公路奔跑的镜头。、超大冰淇淋 洛杉矶除了迪斯尼乐园和环球影城,还有个盖蒂中心。这是用石油大亨保罗盖蒂的遗产建成的一个现代化的艺术中心,前后花费十多年才算建成。艺术馆本身不收费用,只是需要付15美金的停车费。从地下停车场直接坐电梯上到楼上,这里有个小小的电车站,坐上免费的电车,蜿蜒到山顶,就看到白色的建筑,那就是艺术中心了。里面收藏品都是盖蒂生前的收藏品,其中很多价值连城的艺术品,最为著名的就是梵高的鸢尾花,莫奈的草垛和美女。这么贵重的画居然没有玻璃保护,也没有隔离栏杆,可以近距离观赏。不过这么价值连城的艺术品,对于我们这几个不懂艺术的人,真是极大的浪费。 里面很多画和圣经以及文艺复兴有关,不懂圣经和欧洲历史完全搞不明白画的是什么,于是两个女伴开始对着画斜批三国,我在后面听得捧腹而不敢大笑,怕影响到别人,如果作者听到她们的解说怕是气的要从棺材里面爬出来,真是暴虐天珍啊。 ([]
揣着梦想带着渴望带着群友和哥们的嘱咐,带着对所有热爱户外人的祈福,经过许久的准备,我即将要踏上进藏之路! 西藏是我们梦寐的归宿,西藏是神圣的摇篮和天堂,渴望那里的蓝天,渴望着伸手可以触摸到的蓝天中的白云,也渴望着你那祥和的无尽的牧草和低头吃草的藏牦牛! 西藏,我要来了!请您张开你宽阔的臂膀并释放出慈祥的母爱接受我吧!全程攻略:D15月13日,早9点木子户外出发,途径辽河大桥-盘锦油田-锦州采油厂-滨海公路-锦州-葫芦岛-绥中兴城-秦皇岛-北戴河。行驶里程395公里油耗12升行驶时间8小时(其中累计休息1小时)D25月14日,北戴河-昌黎-乐亭-唐海县-天津滨海新区-天津北外环-霸州-白沟-保定徐水县,骑行447公里。D35月15日,保定徐水县-保定-望都县-定州市-新乐市-正定县-绕行石家庄外环-鹿泉市-307国道-平定县-山西阳泉市-寿阳县,骑行300公里其中100公里盘山路。D45月16日,早8点半出发11点到达骑行152公里,骑行路线寿阳县-S216-南燕竹镇-晋中-太谷县-平遥古城。骑行152公里。D55月17日,平遥-灵石县-洪洞县-襄汾县-曲沃县-侯马市-河津市-韩城市-合阳县,骑行380公里由山西进入陕西。D65月18日,合阳县-大荔县-108国道-渭南市-临潼-西安-周至县-秦岭盘山道-佛坪县骑行里程:424公里 (周至县-佛坪县盘山路120公里)D75月19日,佛坪-洋县-城固县-汉中市-勉县-宁强县-朝天区-广元市,骑行320公里(其中200公里盘山路)D85月20日,广元市-剑阁县-绵阳市-德阳市-广汉市-成都-成都南517318川藏线-拉萨起点接待站,骑行里程404公里。D95月21日,成都-新津-邛崃市-名山县-雅安行驶里程:140公里。D105月22日,雅安-二郎山-泸定-康定。行驶里程182公里D115月23日,康定-折多山口-新都桥-雅江 行驶里程:157公里。D125月24日,继续走318雅江-理塘——稻城,行驶里程332公里。D135月25日,稻城-理塘-海子山口-巴塘 行驶里程:329公里D145月26日,巴塘-竹巴龙-芒康-如美-登巴-左贡-邦达 行驶里程:368公里D155月27日,邦达-巴宿-然乌-波密,骑行里程:325公里D165月28日,波密—林芝——工布江达县,行驶里程:378公里D175月29日,工布江达-拉萨 行驶里程:278公里D185月30日,梦想成真!拉萨D195月31日,拉萨闲逛D206月1日,拉萨-那曲 行驶里程:360公里D216月2日,那曲-沱沱河,里程:420公里D226月3日,沱沱河-格尔木 里程:420公里D236月4日,格尔木-青海湖黑河乡 里程;558公里D246月5日,青海湖环湖大概要360多公里,早9点出发晚5点半回到旅馆。D25——D316月6日——6月12日,青海湖——辽宁滨海路锦州区域,骑行2200公里D32:到家!2012.5.13——2012.6.13辽宁营口——西藏拉萨——辽宁营口行程:一万公里 5月7号上午去了二龙哥们那里准备把摩托维护一下,到了那里他不在,带孩子看病去了。等了一小会,二龙一回来就换上衣服帮我做维护。换了机油和机滤轮胎充气并对刹车做了调节,亲自试骑了下,哥们还亲手为车上了链条油,关羽在此感激不尽! 5月8号开始整理随行的必备品,把闲了一冬的车包也拿出来了,边包还可以只是横包坏了,想想原因是去年骑行的时候过多的使用了横包,雨水浇过后没有及时晾晒导致糟了,哎。。。无奈呀,只好淘宝又拍了个高大威的横包。 5月9号早5点到店,自己又对车进行小规模的检查,灯光 离合器高低 驮包的货架 后视镜锁紧。。。10点去哥们的洗车行刷车顺便还蹭了顿饭。下午渤海大街骑行西炮台、好旺角、湿地,南行至热电厂,检查下机器性能。去钢铁买的塑料膜,然后到一个做衣服的那里做了2个大的驮包防雨罩,因为进藏后的天气随时会变以防万一,但愿我的爱车能顺利的驮着我离西藏越来越近! 5月12日,准备装备装车! 一切准备就绪,心情竟然出奇的平静,一路上的精彩在等着我,梦想,离我越来越近了! 13号早9点木子户外出发,本想低调出行,无奈几个铁杆哥们执意要送,感受着哥们的依依离别之情,世界上,友情才是最暖的,我笑了 送行的车队 送君千里终须别,大桥下,抽完这只烟,我将独自踏上征程 D1: 出发行驶到盘锦曙光采油厂,突然一辆辽F牌照的雅马哈踏板超了上来,呵呵你超就超吧我不急,走了一段路后前方来到了修桥的位置,那辆踏板傻眼了,随即摆手示意我停车向我问路,后来得知这哥们是从丹东一路骑行过来的,终点北京,几天前和女友回丹东老家,在丹东买的摩托要骑回北京。这北京的哥们只带了头盔穿了件骑行服下面牛仔裤旅游鞋,我就问他:你就这样骑到北京吗?那哥们笑了说,女友开奥迪A4在高速上呢!原来如此有救援车跟随,强!!! 既然是同路人免不了相互的递烟点烟,那哥们也对我说:我超你的时候就能感觉出来你是要进藏的,我说为什么你能看出来呢?他回答说辽H牌照如此的装备并且是向南骑行,后来得知这哥们也是个驴。。。 他女友来电问路,然后我接的告诉她在锦州东下然后左拐直行26公里滨海路和我们汇合。 午餐一起吃的北京哥们消费,由于路上风大并且海边骑行,我把我随身带的冲锋裤给那哥们穿了。 晚餐北戴河哥们接待,并且给北京的哥们和女友安排了晚上住的宾馆,在送他去宾馆的路上他感慨的说了句:同是同路人天下驴友一家亲!大哥北京有事您言语! 13号早9点出发晚上5点到达北戴河,行驶里程395公里油耗12升行驶时间8小时(其中累计休息1小时)哥们家的狗狗 哥们的媳妇在给俺做早餐 D2: 5月14号一直走行在河北省唐山和天津滨海路,看惯了我们家乡的海对这里的海没有感觉了,进入河北管辖区后一片大平地所以就没有拍片。 14号的骑行路线是:北戴河-昌黎-乐亭-唐海县-天津滨海新区-天津北外环-霸州-白沟-保定徐水县,骑行447公里。 晚上入住徐水大酒店,经理亲自接待了我,说佩服我的独行,惭愧。 两个保安轮流为我看了一夜的车,真的很感谢 D3 5月15号骑行路线:保定徐水县-保定-望都县-定州市-新乐市-正定县-绕行石家庄外环-鹿泉市-307国道-平定县-山西阳泉市-寿阳县,骑行300公里其中100公里盘山路,路上都是拉煤的大货车。石家庄路遇广西的小伙子,广西做飞机去拉萨然后飞北京,北京买的车骑回广西! 离开石家庄进入山西开始有山了心情随之也特别好,看看这山顶部多平,觉得很像我们那里的官财山! 拉煤的车很多我算了下每隔10秒就有一辆通过,不到山西你是不知道有多少拉煤的车! 连日来没有雨,路面为什么会这样的亮!并且有点滑! 猜猜?答案:由于都是拉煤的车,煤面难免会掉落到路面很多车碾压后就造成煤色的镜面了并且有点滑! 营口还没有建筑如此讲究的散热塔进入山西境内随处可见的老建筑进入山西山西人民欠迎你!哈哈!如同9几年的时候 北京欢迎尔! 路 这个隧道长将近1600米,里面通行的都是拉煤的车,隧道灯很暗,里面空气夹杂着煤灰让人窒息,根本什么也看不到,大车呼啸着从你的身后发疯的超过,幸亏我有双闪,好可怕呀! 晚上到住处,我就像是从煤堆里扒出来的一样,脸黑黑的,照照镜子,原来我从刚果来,哈哈入关了,还能见到长城 D4: 5月16日早8点半出发11点到达平遥,骑行152公里,骑行路线:寿阳县-S216-南燕竹镇-晋中-太谷县-平遥古城 直接骑进平遥古城感觉特爽,最后在步行街附近停下,和附近一家地方小吃的伙计攀谈起来,了解一下在网上收索不到的信息,最后决定应该今天住下。 感觉进城后一切事情都很顺利,随便找了家城内居民的自家小旅馆真是随我心愿,即解决了住又解决了车和包看管的问,车直接就停在我住的门口。 解开了随车包换衣服,清洗换下的几件衣服后开始逛城!今天出发时的路 路上村口的山西吊炉饼,看人家那手艺和设备,老娘帮着儿子一起做生意!其实也很贵的一元一个,我觉得这么大小的饼在我们营口应该一元两个吧!途经榆次老城 平遥古城随拍!本来想介绍下平遥古城,上网一搜都是,大家自己去找吧呵呵! 给我的感觉是住在这里的人每家都有文物,并且吃饭、睡觉、生活每天都在一起相伴,以下的片都是真实的。 另外一家古今结合,古老的家具和现代的高科技电脑。。。 当铺家的地道([]

2012年双人骑行,驾驶钱江龙150型摩托车,武汉-东南亚,全程1万余公里。随菠逐雨 我打小喜欢摩托车,很大程度受母亲的影响。 依照今天的准来看,母亲是当时镇子上唯一一位女骑士。镇子上的人经常可以看到一袭白衣白盔的女骑士驾驶一辆红色125排量摩托车,呼啸而过,这便是我的母亲。几乎所有的汽车、摩托车路过母亲身边时,都会不住回头留恋地张望。 我像大多数少年一样,也偷骑过家里的摩托车,后来被母亲发现,因为担心我的安全,才不得已将车子转让。 我一直认为母亲骨子里的闯劲要强于我,我后来的坚持行走和母亲对我精神上的影响密不可分。母亲上了年纪以后,更萌生了一些闯荡的想法,比如徒步西藏。她想了,便开始准备,之后的半个月中,她两次徒步往返30公里以外的外婆家。我看她认准了要做这事,于是积极帮她准备户外旅行用品。她也将我中学骑过的自行车翻出来维修保养,骑行锻炼。 外婆和母亲的妹妹说母亲疯了,反对她的一意孤行。而继父也不愿意和母亲结伴同行,导致家庭气氛一度乌云笼罩。母亲很难过,我更替母亲难过,一个人想实现自己的理想,要遭受如此多的阻力。 母亲很喜欢我的那些摩托车,我骑过的她都很喜欢。她不会上网,就用手机拍下这些车子的照片存着一个人的时候默默地看。她最喜欢我的BMW 650GS Dakar,她总和别人形容,我儿子骑宝马,那个车子如何如何威猛。 我这几年的行走,大多是自私的痛快,钱够生活了,就偷溜出去透气。2012年春,有了我和雨的蜜月骑行之旅,我深刻意识到,旅行是快乐的,而家人应该分享这种快乐。2012年12月21日,传说中的世界末日,不去管它真或者假,我只想带上生命中最重要的两个女人雨和母亲一起旅行,无论生死,在一起就好,在路上就好,圆梦就好。 我接手的是一台嘉陵的企业展示车。这台车平时是用来做企业文化宣传、展示、路演的,后来要卖,但武汉车友无人问津,所以被搁置在嘉陵仓库里落了厚厚一层灰。车子实际里程数非常少,而且性能调校很不错,只是外观有几处磕碰,局部保养不周有些起锈。 以一台JH600A的价格获得了这台JH600B,我觉得还是值得的。我准备把它稍事打扮,随我、小雨和家母去远行。接手这台车属于权宜之计,因为母亲的首次长途旅行,我不想让她骑行;而一年两次长途骑行,对于雨的身体消耗又实在很大,思索再三,我决定选择JH600B作为此次旅行的座驾,我们一家三口同乘一部车子,有说有笑、其乐融融,想必也是非常美好的。 接手JH600B之前有些担心行李空间不足,等真正见到它时,所有的担心就烟消云散了。JH600B座椅后部的行李空间实在很大,放一个人进去都并非难事。 今天把车辆送去兄弟的专业汽车美容店进行外观保养,并在边斗中铺设汽车使用的地胶,隔音,耐磨。同时网购了GPS电源插口改装件以及3条全新轮胎,等这些配件到后,再做整车的保养(包括机油、机滤、冷却液更换;链条、牙盘维护;更换进口电瓶等)。八一制片厂内,和节目中的4位“妻子”合影。“人生是如此的辉煌,生命是如此的精彩”,和延参法师聊生活、聊机车、聊女人产生要带母亲一起去旅行的想法源自她的一条短信。 2012年8月20日今天感觉好多了!记得平生还是第一次感冒、发烧,病得如此重。连续三天高烧39°,还好昨天早上体温降到37.7°,今天体温终于正常了。我的身体一直都挺好,不太容易感冒更不会发烧,这次的情况可能是因为年纪大了吧。人要是患了病就像垒不起的一滩烂泥,眼睛都不愿睁更别谈想做事了,就连想想都觉得难,咳,什么也干不了。哈!现在好多了真的要好好想想我要做的事:我想把徒步西藏计划提前一步,在明年开春我生日那天出发(4月3日),是否对生命存在的思索有更深层的意义?不知老伴是否也愿意陪伴我一起同行,如果不愿意我也不会怪他,我能想象的到这么久的路程要走到何时,路上有多少艰辛和困难在等着。还有很多想象不到的难,谁也无法预料这么久的路程都会发生些什么,到那时都必须要去面对。所以老伴愿意陪伴是求之不得,皆大欢喜;不愿意也是情理之中,那么就有我自己去挑战,我是不会给自己打退堂鼓的。儿子,替我多多谢谢那些关注和关心我的圈里人,我不会让他们失望更不会让自己失望。还有一段时间我可以做些准备,这是我给予自己的一次最高峰的生命之旅。 母亲这条短信深深感动了我。她病得最重的时候没有告诉我,而自己抗过了痛苦把迎接希望的信心带给了我。她是一个经历过太多磨难但仍然有梦想的人,她在实现梦想的过程中阻力重重,而我要做的就是帮她克服这些困难,勇敢去追求梦想。今年初的东南亚之旅,使用了米雅贡嘎的大型防水袋,感觉防水效果和扩展容量都非常满意。所以在淘宝上又购置了两只,满足我、母亲、小雨的随身物品存放。国内可以买到的女款摩托车车服实在不多,几经周折才找到MOTO-GIRL品牌的女款车服两件。粉色小雨,黑色母亲。同款异色,两人搭配起来应该非常好看。 经过《户外探险》杂志的介绍,今年3月我开始与专业户外品牌kailas进行合作。2012年东南亚蜜月之旅,KAILAS提供给我和小雨宿营装备(帐篷、睡袋)以及户外情侣装、软甲冲锋衣等产品进行试用。KAILAS的VIVI小姐亲自为我和小雨挑选每一件情侣装,用她的话说,她觉得自己在为我们挑选嫁妆。让我非常感动。 武汉武昌有一条又窄又乱的巷子,里面隐着三位“技术型宅男”。一位是进口车维修技艺高超,拆各色发动机如探囊取物的聂权聂师傅;一位是弯管焊接,制作的护杠媲美进口原装的二伟师傅;还有一位精通KTM,刷电脑搞改装,拥有完美KTM 990SMT的胡炯胡师傅。我车子碰到的大部分问都会找这三位“技术型宅男”解决。 这次也不例外。JH600B就在这条又窄又乱的巷子获得新生。 新款的JH600B应该表头位置已经安装了车载电源插头,我这款还是需要自己动手改装。这次出行使用的GPS仍然是服役了3年的Garmin 400T。 上午电话给嘉陵武汉的负责人,得知发票和合格证刚刚办好,应该下午会发快递给我,这样看来,上牌照至少要推迟到下周一(17日)了。 武汉市区目前摩托车牌照无法办理,只能考虑武汉郊区。近郊纸坊区只接受本区居民办理车辆上户。下午把小雨的身份证变更到武汉郊区,临时身份证也要周二下午(18日)才可以拿到。 嘉陵JH600B的轮胎是建大轮胎专供,三轮可以互换,型号是4.10-18 75P,与普通2轮摩托车的轮胎不通用。淘宝上的价格接近400元一条。米其林、普利司通、倍耐力都没有同型号侉子适用轮胎,说明嘉陵600B与建大轮胎是战略性合作,国产品牌的强强联手。 更换全新的4.10-18 75P绝对是个体力+技术活。“技术宅男“聂权聂师傅歇了三口气,抽了4根烟,花了近2个小时才把3条全新轮胎更换完毕。建大的此款轮胎花纹深、胎质饱满,触感偏硬,是为复杂路况、长距离穿越设计的轮胎。我预估此轮胎正常负荷使用,应该可以连续行驶10000公里以上,等待事实验证了。 母亲原计划17日下午的航班。结果飞机故障,推迟到18日早飞武汉。我电话母亲说,如果真是20、21日的航班,还真不放心让她乘飞机过来。 目前遇到些麻烦。JH600B武汉全市无法上牌,只能去咸宁办理,代办人员说要10天左右。等不及,准备将车运至云南楚雄,结果物流又碰到麻烦,德邦、天地华宇、中铁都不受理。佳吉受理了,但只能运至昆明,且要价过高,仅打箱和运费就近3000元。 考虑从武汉骑车过去。但母亲年前需要回家陪外婆过年,这样国外旅行的时间就被压缩。 要想一个办法才行。 办法总比困难多,对此,我坚信不疑。 当我获知佳吉快运武汉至昆明收费近3000元时,我开始考虑接受最坏的结果:从武汉一路骑至云南。最大的问首先是车辆没有合法手续,任何一次交通检查都有可能终止我们期待已久的旅行。其次这个季节行驶在中国中部地区,赶上恶劣天气,身体承受的痛苦绝对够骂自己一万次SB。还有国内路程过长,我不得不压缩东南亚的行程,这对于将首次跨出国门的母亲来说,绝对是很大的遗憾。 午饭后,天气放晴,我觉得自己需要再出去碰碰运气。从网上获知大型的物流市场都集中在武汉汉阳区,距离我的居所几十公里,于是驾驶JH600B向汉阳走。我是外地人,对武汉不熟,对汉阳更加陌生,一路走一路问,经过了十几个路口,擦身几十位交警。今天的汉阳也不知道发生了什么情况,交警扎堆,每过一个路口就有4,5位警察叔叔。我心提到嗓子眼,但只能故作镇定,以正常偏慢的速度向前行驶。速度不敢提,怕交警认为咱做贼心虚,在下一个路口截堵,JH600B这车想逃还真是难度不小。 人品一路爆发,支持我从居所顺利开至物流中心区。前后走了三个物流中心,最终找到一家做云南专线的三志物流公司。老板是个小伙子,瘦高、很精神,读高中的时候也是个摩托车爱好者。JH600B不打箱直接运输,省去打箱费用。我听他详细描述完车子如何用叉车送到货车上,用什么样的箱子进行隔离、保护工作,才放心不少,交了运输费用,打车回府。 网购了21号去云南的火车票,世界末日,我们就要出发了。 从云南可以陆路入境的国家有三个:越南、老挝、缅甸。 越南允许携带自行车进入,对于摩托车的政策不是非常清楚,有车友成功从老挝进入云南,但大部分被挡在国门之外。老挝允许携带摩托车入境,目前磨憨-磨丁口岸基本是国内车友自驾去东南亚的唯一通道。缅甸的政策比较特殊,瑞丽口岸可以深入到缅甸境内,而其它几个口岸只能在距离边境线几十公里范围内活动。瑞丽口岸不允许携带任何交通工具,只能乘坐旅行社巴士前往曼德勒以南。 老挝和泰国都可以落地,但问是从磨憨出境,如果没有老挝的证,中国方面可能不允许出境。但从泰国清孔返回老挝会晒口岸时,是可以入境老挝再办理证的。我是昨天晚上才大概了解这些信息,所以打消了去磨丁口岸办理老挝落地的念想。网上联系了一家昆明的旅行社,老挝和泰国证大概需要5个工作日。计划抵达昆明后将护照委托旅行社去办理,然后快递至西双版纳。而我们则前往楚雄办理车辆落户,之后去西双版纳等待护照到手。[摘自母亲笔记]2012.12.17 我期待已久的时刻终于来临。 今天我早早起床了,天气真的很冷,但很晴朗。我带着一颗火一样的心愉快地踏上我梦寐以求的旅程。 来到候机大厅准备换登机牌,可怎么也想不到,当我把身份证递给前台服务小姐,得到的不是登机牌而是一盆冷水:这次航班由于飞机故障还没有从武汉机场起飞。 There are many like-minded asking me about it. I now present this thread to briefly tell everybody about my journey.The starting point of this traverse was from the highest peak of the western part of the Tibetan plateau, Jieshan Daban, and the day was April 20, 2010.I was heading eastward passing Bungdag Co, Yanghu Co, Rola Co, and Kangzhagri Mountain, which crossed over the desolate region from west to east. The journey continued northward to enter the unpopulated area of Altun Mountains, through Hoh Xil Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, Whale lake, ..., finally met some people by the Aqqikkol Hu and then arrived in Huatugou by vehicle three days later and that day was July 5. It had been 77 days in total. I had been all alone 74 days after leaving Jieshan Daban until arriving inAqqikkol Hu, which was about 1400km and about four months.[The Great Chang Tang] In Tibetan, "Chang Tang" means northern empty wilderness while narrowly, means unpopulated region in northern part of Tibet. However, it actually indiCATes all of the no man's land in northern. The great Chang Tang includes desolate places in Northern Tibet, Hoh Xil, Alun Mountains, and Kunlun Mountains, which are interconnected to form the unique and super empty wilderness in the world. Only because Hoh Xil is the most known name, most people just think this vast land is equivalent to Hoh Xil. In reality, Hoh Xil is only a small piece of the Great Chang Tang both administratively and geologically. The Great Chang Tang, the last land to chase your freedom and dream.The route that I traversed ForeplayI arrived in Tibet in the early March, a couple of troubles bothered me. The brand new plug got its positive and negative wrongly connected; the rivets of my rucksack eASIly got broken from now and again; and a multi-functional charger got damaged and so on. Riding my bike to Ngari for warming up of this journey, lost my rucksack but later got it back; lost my camera bag and got it back later again, and finally lost a big bicycle pannier in the street of Gyangze town under the eyes of police, including clothes, solar panel and so on.Without much choice, I returned to Lhasa to adjust all the stuff I would need in the wilderness. Then I begged some luck by going to Nyingchi to enjoy the blossoms of peach trees and to take a hot spring bath. I even had the privilege to enjoy time with ten girls in the hot spring. I felt my bad luck had all gone and then returned to Lhasa again to prepare going to Ngari. I did not expect that I was cheated on by some hustler and lost some money and delayed my schedule for a week. I had to find a car myself quickly to Nagri. However, I lost the tool for fast-parting my rear wheel on my way to Nagri, where was a remote area in Tibet and nowhere to buy the tool. Even if there was one in Lhasa it would take at least ten days for a special delivery service. I was lucky that my mate Duola asked a driver to bring the tool for me from Lhasa. I thought there should be no more nightmare like this but the nozzle of my brand new multi-fuel stove was broken. The next day I tried everywhere to weld them back together. The first three shops could not do the welding for copper. The fourth one said they could do it but could not guarantee a sUCCess. The engineer said it would be ten Chinese yuans if it was a success. I agreed. Just in seconds, my nozzle became crap in a flash of lightening. I was so upset. Again, Duola helped me by bringing her own MSR oil stove and Dingding's sleeping bag to Nagri. That was already April 16 and I did not have much time to waste. The following day I found a vehicle heading to Jieshan Daban.The sand storm over Yarlung Zangbo RiverA lonely peach tree blossoming in Yarlung Zangbo Grand CanyonNatural hot spring in wild, me singing and drinking (photo by a friend of mine) Day 1(April 20), 16km, Camping 5192mIt was a truck with a full load of iron wastes, arriving in Jieshan Daban at 6'o clock in the morning. It was still night and extremely cold and dark. Driver was not bothered to pop his head out of the driving cab. I climbed up on the top of the iron wastes, taking my bicycle down. In a hurry, I punched my old water bag. Fortunately I had another MSR water bag given by a friend of mine otherwise I would definitely fail without even starting my journey. For the first time for me to set up the brand new tent in strong, cold winds. It would be impossible to do so if the tent was not a whole piece. Extremely cold outside, about -15C, might be lower than that, I put my head into the sleeping bag but was nearly suffocated to death, honestly. The smell of Dingding's sleeping bag was, lol, so extraordinary. I woke up around 11 o'clock. There were still strong winds outside so that I had to use my bodyweight to keep the tent in place. At the time when I just started to cook and eat, four patrolling soldiers approached me. To their surprise someone, in this season, camped in Jieshan Daban. I was so nervous and afraid they were the people to block my journey because I was caught and deported from the desolate land last year. Luckily the four soldiers did not know my destination and were very kind to me. After they left, I immediately packed my stuff and pushed my bike into the depths of the unpopulated area just in case anything unexpected happened.The bike was very heavy due to the provisions and hard to control. There was even a quite small hill that I had to remove my bike panniers to get over it. This really struck me because this happened even the path was still the hardship one at the moment and I could not imagine what I would do once I entered the uncertain, endless wilderness. Until now I had not met anyone, even the nomadic pastoralists. I remembered there were quite a few of them roaming at the edge of the northern Tibetan plateau last year. All of these indicated it was not the good pasture season in such low temperature and strong winds. Around 16km there was a sheep cote, where I passed it last year, east of Lungmu Co. I was exhausted at this point so that I decided to camp in here and to rest my head. After arranging tent everything I went out to look for the wetland discovered by Duola and Liumeng last year. I was determined to find it.There were many hot springs in the wetland which were underground water with a constant temperature. The wetland therefore became an ideal habitat for some fishes and weeds under such harsh weather, which was the very unique land feature of terrain in this over 5200m highland.Perpetual snow in the valley blown to corn shape by strong windsThis wetland was discovered by Duola and Liumeng. The next day rather than continuing to travel, I stayed inside the sheep cote, hesitating and pondering over. Indeed, there were so many problems before this journey;I did not have sufficient physical preparation;the load had already reached its limitation; I still coughed a lot;the weather was so extreme and cold. All in all, I did not think this journey was well prepared and I did not have confidence in completing this journey mentally and physically. To do, or not to do, it was the question. Similarly I did not have confidence in my facilities, not knowing whether all of them would work functionally or not. The fact was one of the rivets got broken again and the front rack came loose. In the afternoon, I replaced all the rivets of the panniers with screws I had prepared before. This was an excellent job I had done which gave me no further troubles throughout my whole journey. I also re-adjusted the front rack. However I did not think it would definitely all right because I did not have a tool to do it. When the darkness descended,I made up my mind to continue my journey, which, of course, was not beyond any imagination. Orchid-like weedsSmall springs everywhere, clear and chillyA thin layer of ice covering the fresh spring water The sheep cote, it was the door under the sleeping bag, which was in the same place as last year, everything looked like yesterdayThe wetland at duskLungmu Co at dusk. You could hear the gigantic sound of wind if the picture had a sound Day 3 (April 22), 52.4km, Camping 5145mGot up in the morning, could not put everything into the bags. Without much choice I had to throw away three portions of tsampa, elbow pads, and crampons. Following the road of the lead-zinicmine I found the side path to enter the wilderness, which was on the riverbed and very hard to see. I missed this side path last year so that I had to take a short cut into the wilderness directly then. That was why I had taken extra care to find the side path. The following journey was to get over a big hill, which lay 5275m above sea level and was the highest point of my whole journey. Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I passed the side path leading to Orba Co and started a journey which was complete strange to me. I ate a piece of pilot breads, which was frozen like rocks so that I had to use my spade to crush it. At 6 o'clock in the evening, I had pushed plus rode my bicycle for about 32 km. I reckoned I should have been able to double this if I did no carry such heavy load. The wind became stronger and stronger. I opened the parasail kits and tested it. The result was far beyond what I expected. With the aid of the strong wind I was just like flying over the wilderness. After 8 o'clock in the evening, I started to observe the water Source and to get ready to camp. Map showed there were successive springs along the path and assembled to puddles. But I had overestimated the water source here in this land and in this season there were endless wilderness inside the valley, where I could not see a single drop of water. As it became darker and darker, I felt a little bit nervous which resulted in three spokes of the parasail broken and became a useless rubbish. Anyway, it helped me to move forward 20km more which benefited me a lot later on. When time approached 9.30 pm, it was almost completely dark. I had to lie my bike on the ground and went on to try to find water on the north side of the valley. This was a wide and flat sandy land, where I could not see any ditches there and further was complete darkness. I returned to get my GPS to look up the contours and found the south part of the valley was closer to a hill so I took the way. Finally I found a piece of ice in a ditch. I smashed about 20litre of ice. The ice was quite shallow scattered with sheep poo. On my way back, my eyes were hurt by strong winds, which got me a couple of days to recover. It was nearly 23 o'clock after I set up the tent. It also took about 40 mins to melt the ice. I was so tired and my appetite was completely spoiled. I then had a little bit of milk. I had never expected thing would go like this, it was so distressing. Streams along the path, ice everywhereThe river flew into Matou Hu, in whose north part there was a satellite lake, a wonderful ice-skating court It took 40mins to melt the ice in midnight Day 4 (April 23), 31km, Camping 5028mA cloudy day with gusts. From now and again, hails chased me from behind. Sunny spell. Heavy sandy land made me have to push my bike. At 3pm, I arrived at Luxing Hu, where there was a house made of clay. This was the last permanent building of my journey. Last year, Duola and Liumeng once lived in this house for three days without meeting anybody. It seemed it was the same but the truck parking in front of the house made me worry about. I went to the sheep cote first to check over, where there were only a few lambs following me everywhere I went later on. This made me feel warm in my heart. I observed farther places using my binoculars but could not see any people or sheeps. After making sure there were no people around I opened the locked door using a screwdriver. The living room was very clean. There were two boxes of beverages on the ground and a string of cured lamb legs hanging over in the interior room. A pot of water was on the top of the stove, lukewarm, which indicated the host must be not far away from his home. I filled up my water bag and left the house. I also put the screws back to the door in order not to leave any trace of my visiting. I then took a spanner from the toolbox of the truck, which gave me great help for the rest of the journey.I left the house as quickly as possible. After last year's experience, the nomadic pastoralists were the last people I wanted to meet. A few hundred meters away from the house, the vehicle traces were fading fast. Even downhill, I had to push rather than to ride because of the heavy loose sand. From the route point of view, only after Luxing Hu it was the real unpopulated land. After many days, I thought of the lamb legs from time to time. It was pity that I then had plenty of provisions and the bike was too heavy to carry anything more. Continue to melt the ice under the morning sunshine, all of the sheep poo had been removed carefullyCamping site, the little hill over there was the place where I got the ice last nightThe house by the Luxing Hu, empty, the last permanent building I saw throughout my journeyDay 5 (April 24), 19.8km, Camping 4951mSet off at 10.30 in the morning, the weather was similar to yesterday. Probably this road was the high plain or somewhere the wind passed so that it was so windy. The average wind speed was degree 6 but could reach degree 9 in the blick of an eye. The road was still full of sand and very heavy to walk on it. My eyes became worse under such harsh weather. About three o'clock in the afternoon, I saw something in my right, looked like antenna. I went closer to see what it was and found out it was an iron tower (the triangulation station). In 1970s, a joint team from Chinese three military regiments entered this area doing research. They have left a lot of triangulation stations and benchmarks, which I had the priviledge to see them today.At dusk, I approached to a spring by the Bungdag Co, which flew into the frozon lake. The sand and soil, brought by the strong wind, scattered on the surface of the ice all over the lake. There were so many cracks around the icey surface of the lake. I geussed it must be caused by the springs under the water rather than by melted ice. In the west of the Bungdag Co was the side path leading to Keriya Pass, where a SUV could reach directly. I had looked out any vehicle Tracks but failed. The cloudy sky started to snow. I set up the tent comfortably because I knew that I was safe having such a sweet spring beside me.Triangulation station erected by scientists from the joint research team on Chang Tang of three military regiments in 1971[size=+0]The gap between water and ice in Bungdag Co, I guessed there must be some springs under the lakeThe storm just above the ground, a chaotic darkness[size=+0]Icy Bungdag Co,one of the four biggest lakes in Northern Tibet, wild ducks flying over this vastness and lonenessSnowing at any time, should not happen so frequently like this in this seasonDay 6 (April 25), 4.3km, Camping 5002mWeathering landforms everywhere around this area. Spongy volcanic rocks could be found easily. I pushed my bike turning around a small hill, seeing a big river, the Yinshui He, flowing from Orba Co into Bungdag Co, which I had been to its upstream last year. It was also a passage for animal migration. The downstream of the river was extremely wide and broad. The thickess of the ice layer could reach one meter with the main stem in the middle course of the river, very deep. There were a few springs along the river, sweet and clear.I only went forward a little bit more than 4km but I had walked more than 20km for finding my way. It was not possible to cross the main stem, let alone the north bank of Bungdad Co. What I could only do was to try to find a shallow place to cross. But the southern area was a even larger piece of wetland and forced the road turn towards west. I spent a couple of hours but failed to find a good point to cross the river. In the afternoon, I decided to follow the edge of the wetland. When I reached the hill foot, the wetland finally disappeared. Around this area, there were clearly volcanic feature of terrain and I even found traces of pasturing and cairns made from volcanic rock.Here was the last pasturing trace I found throughout my journey, I guessed it was a summer pasture area. After this, there was no clear sign of human activities in this vast wilderness. I had been looking for my ways until it was dark. I made up my mind where to go TOMOrrow. The terrain here looked like Yardang landforms, as well as volcanic landforms The Yinshui He river from Orba CoSprings scattered all over the river bank, painted green by lovely algaeThe river was very deep. The mixture of green and amber colour showed the sand and mud carried by the melted iceThick layer of ice, sunken surface caused by strong gustsThe south course of the Yinshui He, countless small streams. To the right was the wetlandLooking for ways in the east, a trace of pasturing and the cairn made from spongy volcanic rocksMy camp, opposite to the hillDay 7 (April 26), 11km, Camping 5009mI moved forward to the direction I found yesterday, turning around the wetland and walking toward east. At 2pm, I was blocked by the zigzag Yinshui He again and I had no choice but to cross it. The river was about 700m wide, covered by ice which appeared very different. The hanging ice, the folding ice, the piling-up ice, the icy puddle, and the sleet were everywhere along the river bank. Having noticed all of these, I reckoned the river would be receding at dusk, which was why there were so many different shapes and forms of ice. I put my slipper on, going into the main stream of the river. I found there were at least three different courses of the river, the thickness of the surface ice varied and the river water reached above my knees. I sighed there would be no way back once I crossed this river. There are many ways in one's life too, you can only take it once and you will no long have the courage to repeat it.I pushed the bike crossing the river. Some of the ice was a bit soft, jamming the tyres so that I had to use my feet to break them first. Some of the ice was a bit thick but with half-melted underneath, sticking the the bike completely, some of the ice was half-water half-ice with a sandy riverbed, which was really hard to pass. I had to remove all of the panniers at the last stage of the crossing. I spent the whole four hours to cross the river, my legs got many bloody cuts. At 6pm, the surface ice was almost disappeared completely, the river level rapidly rising to a chaotic status. I thought if I hesitated a little bit at that time, I could not have the courage to cross this river under such circumstances. The river bank was unimaginably sandy and was quite steep. I had to unloaded the panniers again to reach the top of the bank. By the time of sunset, the weather became exceptionally good. The sunlight from the descending sun, the blue sky, the faint moon, .... I liked such a colorful and peaceful Chang Tang and very much enjoyed my camp and myself bathed in such beautiful colour.The ice like this was very thin and suspended, far away from the main stemHard surface with half-melted underneath, the soft sand at the botton was most scaryThe ice like this could easily jam the wheels, hard to get it outI had to unload the panniersChaotic water and terrible hails turned up in no timeThe Chang Tang at the moment liked it used to be,a mixture of cold and warm tones under the golden setting sun Day 8 (April 27), 14.6km, Camping 5112mLast night, I forgot to bring in the odometer, which was out of order due to the coldness in midnight. Since then I used GPS to check the mileage. The digital thermometer was no longer working. I had to use mercury thermometer to collect data. Night temperatures were basically between –15℃—–20℃ while the temperature inside my tent was about –10℃. The advantage of the integrated tent was that it limited the ventilation so to keep warm inside. However, it got clearly disadvantage of heavy condensation and dew. Every morning, there was plenty of frost inside the tent so that I had to put my hood on First Before fully getting dressed. The winds in Chang Tang finally became consistent with the pattern I had researched the other day no or very tiny wind in the morning, strong wind started after 2pm, and then at around 8pm its strength was reduced again. The accuracy of this prediction was about 80%.The road was very bad today. I walked whole afternoon in an ancient riverbed and it was so difficult that I had to use all of my strengths to move a small step forward and then to stop to breath, slower than a snail. After five hours' struggling, my eyes got wet when I saw the grassy river bank. Finally! The nightmare was over.Cold and clear morningHeavy morning condensation in the interior, a lot of frost to clearSuch dawning sunlight indicated a cloudy day ahead Day 9 (April 28), 18km, 5072mIn the morning I entered a range of sandy roads which were so terrible. The solar panel specially designed for GPS got short circuited. After checking it was found to be the diode got damaged. Luckily I got a replacement. Because the GPS was exclusively supplied by a solar panel so that it was no longer a problem for the power supplement of GPS. In a period of 70 days, I did replace the battery once, which saved me a lot of alkaline batteries. I did have another solar panel of 5.4 W which was used specifically for 7.5V Camera, DV and other digital facilities. Unlike water, I had never been short of power.At 7pm in the evening, I arrived at Pur Co. The surface of this lake was very odd the ice by the river bank rose and the river bank was broken, I reckoned that was due to the strong winds. The ice there was mingled with something yellow, could be the stain of alkali. There were many wild yaks on the other side of the lake. There could be two brown bears but I could not be for certain. On the east side of the lake, there was a peninsula leading to the centre of the lake. I camped just opposite to the peninsula. At night , I smashed the ice to get drinking water, which tasted alkali. For the first time I cooked the cereals, which was brought completely by accident. This was just because I found there was a little bit of extra space when I was in Nagri packing the stuff for this journey so that I bought two packs of cereals. It tasted disgusting, probably there was too much alkali in the water. I threw away half of it. Later I realised that probably I subconsciously felt that the provisions was so heavy. I would rather make it lighter at any cost.Dry all my stuff in the morning sun, a routine matterA faint dusk in Pur CoThe river bank pushed up by ice and opened like zipper by gustsThe pushed up surface of the iceThe place where I got my drinking water, a thin layer of ice behind the ablation corns The moment just before sun set, glittering Pur Co, nothing was the same差点儿没找到俺自己的帖子,原来变色了。多谢各位鼓励。 Day 10 (April 29), 16km, Camping 5141mIn the morning, I walked around the north bank of the Pur Co, where it were continuous ups and downs sprinkled with light yellow sprouts across the sparse grassland. The wild yaks clustered into small groups. All of a sudden, there was a group of five of them running towards me, blowing a huge cloud of dust with the power of thunderbolts,I believed that anyone who did not know the characters of the wild yaks must be frightened to death under such circumstances. The fact was the wild yaks in groups never injured people. Rushing to you just to show you its territory. When they approached people at certain distance, they would turn sharply and run away, and then stopped somewhere high to stare at you. You can not imagine that the wild yaks were very cautious animals compared with its almost one ton of weight. Their first reaction, when meeting people, was to raise their tails, the front hooves rubbing against the ground, the horns pointing forward, the eyes redden, and the long body hair shaking, all of which showed their determination to fight.This was the warning sign that you should retreat. However, you should realise that this was only a gesture that they were afraid of you and wanted to scare you away. The thing was that if you were not afraid of them and moved forward, they would run away in no time. There were only some mad yaks attacking people, which was really rare to happen. In Chang Tang, an experienced driver know that it is very dangerous to pass directly from two or three lonely wild yaks. They always tried to avoid confronting them directly. If this was not possible, they would lit a cigarette, smoking, to wait until the yaks walked away themselves. This was because the wild yaks really could attack vehicles, which was not completely rumors. I once asked them why I had not been attacked. They told me that because my bike was so small they would not be bothered to attack it. My own experience was that approaching a wild yak very slowly, do not look into its eyes, and ignored what it was doing. As long as it moved forward a little bit, just stop and give the yaks a little bit of time to think. Because if you forced the yak, it could be themost dangerous animal in the world and nothing could stop them killing. Even a gunshot could not kill it but only left a small hole in its skin. In the past, the nomads living near this land would use yaks' skin as chopping board which was very much endurable. At noon, I lost my balacLAVA, which was brand new and I had never used it once. I could not be bothered to go back tofind it. This resulted in that I had to have my fleece hat day and night in the rest of my journey, which did not provide fully protection from the sun in the plateau. But somehow I was all right, perhaps because my skin is similar to those of yaks, lol. At around half past one, I found a deserted Jeep, upside down. I felt it could be there for years and it could be the vehicle of someillegal HUNTERs. Nowadays, we have wildlife conservation reserves in Chang Tang and the animals here are well protected. However, some people kills the wild yaks to sell them as the domestic yak's meat. In general, it is worth 10,000 Chinese yuans for a single wild yak. Therefore many people take the risk to make money. They often enter the unpopulated areas to hunt and their activities can reach 200 km in diameter. This is why the wild yaks in the deep wilderness are less afraid of people than thoseat the boundaries of the Chang Tang region.There once happened that a wild yak mother revenged its baby's murder in the Altun mountains. Its horns pierced the killer's chest and held his body over its head for more than ten days, which was very touching.Around 3pm, I walked out of the Pur basin. The next point was Hong Shan Daban and then it was the Yueya Hu by the Toze Gangri. At this time I found a vehicle track from south to north. I checked over but could not find the way where they had gone. I took my map, GPS, and compass, climbing up a small hill to estimate the location of Hong Shan Daban. The mountain was very round and it was hard to find the mountain pass. After determining the location of the Daban, I moved straightforward. When I passed a messy grassland, I saw something that I was reluctant to see more than hundreds of wild yaks' head scattered all over, which was definitely the scene of the illegal hunting. Tomorrow's weather must be wonderful, I reckoned Day 11(April 30), 20.4km, Camping 5120mThe surface of the road leading to Hong Shan Daban was very hard, most of them were small rocks, sort of gravels, plus a quite long downhill slope, I pushed my bike more than 20km for the first time after Luxing Hu. The mountain pass was quite flat, just like a broad ridge, it was 5256m above the sea level. Upon arriving at the pass, Toze Gangri of 6356m was in my sight clearly, very much round and there was no back bone like normal snow covered mountains. Most of the snow mountains in Chang Tang looked like this probably it was due to the geological movements. There were quite a few chirus or Tibetan antelopes in the valley but I was not interested in this kind of animals anymore after I witnessed a large scale of migration of such animals last year elsewhere.The herbivorous animals here are very quick to reach its original size of the population, such as wild yaks, chirus, Tibetan gazelle, pika, and marmot. When you go into the depths of the Chang Tang, you could hardly be surpised by the sudden appearance of the chirus because they are so common in here. At this time of year, the chirus have already male-female parted. You could see many pregnant female chirus but hardly see any males. According to recent research, Zonag Co is not the only lake for breeding. There are at least four of them in the whole Chang Tang. Zonag Co, Tuzi Hu, Heishi Beihu, and another lake I can not remember. I think there must be more than four of them and most of the populations do not migrant long way like most people used to think. They generally migrant from south to north between Central Mountains and Kunlun Mountains.The chirus looks very timid but are very curious about outside world. They are not really afraid of people, particularly in the depth of the Chang Tang. The nearest distance we can approach is about 30m. They just stare at you calmly and think who you are and why you move so slow. They would run in front of you. Look like they are afraid of you but the fact is they are playing with you. A man's own character shapes his fortune. This is of course suit for animals too. The chirus are the typical one. They have a super speed and a pair of sharp antlers. If they are crazy, three of them work together could easily kill a wolf. But as you might have known, their antlers are just for fighting to mate with females.Down the Daban there was a very steep and straight road, I tried to ride the bicycle but ended up with falling over. The front rack came loose and one of the pannier flew into valley. The foot of the mountain was the Yueya Hu covered by ice, which was alake full of heavy metal elements. Along the lake bank there were many stark rocks very much weathered, lining up just like castles or houses. This made me stop to investigate what they were from time to time, I did understand they were just rocks though but they were so real like the figures of real people. On of them even made me hide in a ditch, observing them again and again using my binoculars. There were also many black volcanic rocks. All in all, the features of this area were really unusual.Passed over the Yueya Hu, it was an endless ancient lake bed. What my GPS showed was this area was a big lake like tentacles. I looked around, it was endless wilderness without a piece of ice and a drop of water. Roughly, I estimated this lake bed was about 1200 square meters. I had to tell you that Chang Tang was a place where there was no high-resolution map. The marks in the map often were some kind of memory. Just like this ancient lake bed under my feet, may be it was full of water a few years ago. Who knows. Pushing the bike in such an endless lake bed was very easy to get lost. About wildlife (part 1)Declaration Personal experience for reference onlyDangerous wild animals and their threats to human beings are a ever-LASTING subject for those backpackers travelling in the wild.In Chang Tang, for example, there are two kinds of deadly animals, one is wolves and the other is brawn bears. As substitutes, wild yaks and crows might be dangerous to you in some circumstances that I will come back to this a little bit later on. As for how to protect yourself against these dangerous animals, I think the primary point is you do not try to hurt them because the emotions of human and animals are same instinctively. [Wolves]Throughout my journey, I met wolves a total of seven times, in which I confronted them five times. As you might have known that wolves have become more and more solitary animals, it is very rare they live in a large group nowadays. Please allow me off the point a little bit and talk about the ecological problems in Chang Tang. The problem is now not the decrease of the number of the chirus but the imbalance of the whole food chain, more specifically, the number of the animals on the higher trophic levels of the food chain has not yet reached its ideal level which results in this kind of imbalance. Particularly, the pikas and the marmots who have lost their predators rapidly expanse which results in the desertification of Chang Tang. As early as the middle of last century, wolves were the dominant predators in the vast wilderness. They became a threat not only to other preys but also nomads pasturing in this land. Therefore, the then government called on people to cull back the population of the wolves in Chang Tang, which resulted in the current situation directly. The last official record about wolves attacking humans was around 1970s, which happened in Bamaoqiongzong. A team of secientists was surrounded by a group of wolves and they had to shoot them using guns. Of course, at present in Chang Tang, wolves are absolutely lonely.In this traverse, the first time I encountered a pair of wolves, one of them staying in front of me pretending to attack me while the other staying behind me. This is the standard attacking strategy of wolves. First, you should not be nervous which can be easily detected by the predators. Second, you should not retreat even an inch because this means you are the prey rather than the predator. Do not make any large movement, of course you could take a picture if you feel safe to do so. You must look into its eyes for a few minutes or even half an hour. When the wolves can not work out who you are and consider you are not posing any danger to them, then they will leave. You should remember that wolves in this land do not lack of food and it is much easy for them to catch a pika than a human. Even if being hungry, they would evaluate how easy to get you done, What you need to do is to show them that you are not interested in them and you are not afraid of them at all, let alone to show your ID card to them. As for the wolves family, really, I have not heard for ages. If you really have an encounter with them and they have no other choice, then it definitely depends on your forture. In fact, for so many year, it has been very rare to happen that wolves kill human. But the rumours are still there, in particular, the road connecting Xinjiang and Tibet.The nearest encounter with a wolf throughout my journey, no conflict at all[Brown Bears]Brown bears are real dangerous animals to human. Every year there are some accidents happened in some regions of Xinjiang on the north side of Kunkun Mountains and steppes in Northern Tibet. More than that the bears could attack your house, smash your windows, and eat your sheep. Therefore, in Northern Tibet some local councils give subsidies to the pastorarists for compensating the losses due to the bears because they are not allow to fight back and kill the bears except their lives are in great danger. Once there was a nomad taught me a method to protect yourself from bears. He told me to pick up a stick to feed the bear and the bear thinks the stick is your hand which tastes disgusting. So the bear would leave. It was so funny but the reality is to find a stick in this vast wilderness is just like you win the lottery.Bears are omonivorous animal who are generally not interested in human flesh. You can find that in most of accidents, the bears did not eat any of the human flesh rather they just smashed them for kind of fun that we could not understand. For the reason why bears kill human, one explanation is the conflict between human and wildlife in this extreme ecological environment. The nomads invade the habitats of the bears, which results in these conflicts. On the other hand, it might be because bears have quite high IQ so that they think it is much easy to kill a sheep in the cote rather than to kill a pika in the wild.I have met bears five times in my traverse, in two cases we were very close to each other. I had even walked with one of them for quite a while, just like we had a date for a walk. The fact is it is not that terrible like you might imagine. The same rules for dealing with wolves apply to bears. Never provoke dangerous animals. A bear can run at a speed of 40km/h, do you think you can compete this in a highland 5,000m above sea level?However, there is a situation where it is really dangerous, that is the encounter. It is not easy to control your instinctive reaction to the external dangers. Last year once I turned around a hill, there was a bear just in front of me. The bear of course was frightened by me with its front legs holding up, waving in the air and roaring. At that time I sat on the ground, ignoring it. The bear then left in a few minutes. Could not imagine what it was thinking about.[Crows]Crows are dangerous only when you fall unconscious in the wilderness. Of course they will be the first to taste your flesh in that case. Unlike their cousinsliving in urban areas, the crows in Chang Tang have a larger body like eagles. When they fly over your head, you could feel like it is a piece of cloud. They are scavengers but like fresh meat too. It once happened that a baby was killed by crows relentlessly, let alone the lambs got killed by them. Once a nomad asked me for fireworks to scare the crows away. (They are sacred birds not to be killed by human)It is easy to defend yourself against crows, that is to keep fighting, never fall in the wilderness.A short break attracted the crows. Of course, they were miscalculating this time, photo taken last year[Strategies Adopted]At the time when I met the four soldiers in Jieshan Daban, they said there were many dangerous animals in the Northern Tibet and asked me if I had brought a shotgun. I think if they knew that I would enter Chang Tang they would definitely check if I really have a shotgun. The so-called defence facilities I brought with me were the fireworks and pepper spray. I had never used them. The fireworks were ruined and thrown away when I crossed a river and I had never opened the pepper spray. I even had never thought about this when camping in the night. The reason was I did not feel the needs. During the day time whenever I met any animals I had never touched the knife I had brought. I did not have anything to defend myself when I walked out to investigate the route. The Chang Tang is really a vast area so as to be very easy to detect anything strange.By the way, you'd better to avoid mating season's animals because even tamed rabbits could be aggressive in mating season.The thing is even if you have a gun, it is not very much helpful when bears attack you. Therefore, your attitude is most important.I can tell you something. Dogs are more dangerous than these wild animals. I had been chased by Tibetan dogs, pounced on by dogs in mating season, also besieged by a group of dogs. I really feel it is more useful to know how to defend a dog.Declaration again The above experience is from Chang Tang only. Of course, the more you prepared, the better. Day 12 (May 1), 23.8km, Camping 5117mToday was May 1 -- the Labour Day, I had been walking in some lake area marked in the map but clearly dried up. The lake basin was flat and hard so that I even pushed my bike more than 20km. Let it be the special treat for my May Day. After midday it became cloudy with growing winds. Since the Yueya Hu that I passed yesterday, there were no big lakes until Yanghu Co (My route would be between Jianshui Hu and Bairab Co), there was even no light alkaline water to drink so I had to pay extra attention not to miss any possible drinking water supply to fill up my water bag. There were a few very small lakes but all were alkaline puddles which was very shallow, whose depth was no more than the length of a half-finger. These puddles were covered with a hard shell of the mixture of salt and ice which smelled stinking and decaying when getting closer, must be toxic water I supposed. On the shore of this type of small lakes it was muddy soil and very hard to get closer.There was no sign of tundra at all.It was almost half past six when I found some snow corns in a ditch, which was the only drinking water supply of the day. There was a thin layer of melted ice on the surface of the ground near the snow corn, which was very hard to collect and was contaminated by the alkali. The snow corn was the yet melted thick snow, which was shaped like a corn by wind. The snow was quite hard and dry,porous like ice. I crushed a few snow corns, putting them into the water bag.They would be my drinking water tonight. These snow corns were the only one in today's wilderness, I reckoned the reason why they were not melted like others was the soil underneath contained large amount of ice blocks which acted as a freezer.Very strong gale in the night, it was hard to bear the sound of the vibration of the tent. Small single tent was good in the sense that it would not be blown away as long as you stayed inside. But you had to be very careful to set up the tent. I once did not pay much attention when doing so, the tent was blown away by winds, and rolling over like a Giant lantern ... I ran after it, got it back, and was exhausted. In general, it is not possible to fix the tent completely using tent pegs because they were not very much effective like large tents. It was snowing around 23 o'clock, the winds were howling from north,then the falling snow flakes landed on my tent quietly, I finally felt at peace and fell asleep. The flat ancient lake basin, assisting me walking more than 20kmSmall lake en route, toxic waterSnow corns, the only drinking water supply today Day 13 (May 2), 0km, Camping 5117mWaking up in the morning and opening the tent, the heavy snow outside must be sent by the God to force me have a break for the May Day. After lying in for a while, getting up and walking on the snowy ground out I went to have a look around. As first sight there were a herd of chirus. They were plainly to be spotted because they looked like a clear black straight line in the while snow. I returned to get my camera and then followed them to take some pictures. But they were very much alert and kept a quite long distance from me. I felt they were a group of pregnant females, instinctively protecting themselves from any potential harm. I was no longer short of water, the snow gave me a precious supply of drinking water. The problem was that they were very petrol consuming. I tool 8.6 litre of petrol and the oil stove was Duola's MSR. The pot was of 1.5 litre, mainly for boiling water. After several days' experiments, I found that the liquid water needed 16mins and 14-15mins to boil in the morning and evening, respectively. For ice, it would take 35-40mins while for snow it took 45-50mins. Melting snow was a very time and petrol consuming process so if I had a choice between snow and light alkaline water, most of time I would go with the latter. Lying inside the tent, listening to musics,I smoked a cigarette while gazing at the more and more chirus around me. Because it was very cold I had been wearing my shoes all the time. Now I just put my bare feet under the warm sun for some fresh air. I found three cuts in my hands and one in my sole. The cuts were about 4cm in length, looked terrible but it was actually all right really. Half of my toes were injured by to much walking, quite painful. I fetched my medicine bag and found I only got four patches of plasters, a serious mistake. One of the cuts in my hand had never been cured until I was out of this desolate land so as to feel like this finger would drop from my hand at any time. The others quickly recovered in a few days then new cuts appeared elsewhere. This process occurred periodically. I felt that it was somewhat related to the cold, dry weather and the lack of vitamins. The snow rapidly disappeared, which is unique phenomenon in Chang Tang. Because of the low air humidity and the high radiation from the sun, the snow was evaporating very fast, much quicker than the melting speed. Owing to this, the ground was generally still dry after the snow disappeared. In most cases, it would be only 2/5 left in the afternoon around 2 to 3 o'clock and small patches of ground could be seen. It would be completely all right for walking the next day. On the third day there could be some snow left in somewhere the sunlight hard to reach. So generally it could give you three days of water supply after a heavy snow like this. One of the pannier was broken, the most expensive one from deuter series, supposed to be waterproof. I will come back to it at some point later.
