西沙群岛,那片遥远的海疆,从儿时的电影、课文中就出现的美丽海域,终于成为了眼前触手可及的美景。经历了往返近48个小时的骇浪颠簸、晕船呕吐,当我庆幸终于离开不停摇动的甲板,踏上陆地时,却发现自己竟然不适应在陆地上行走,深一脚浅一脚,仿佛还停留在船上的状态。西沙群岛所有的美景、淳朴的渔民,都让我如此陶醉,如此留恋!这次的旅行非同寻常,刻骨铭心,醉生梦死,西沙的一切都让我中毒太深,据说解药藏在西沙的那些海岛上,看来,西沙还得再去一次,再去一次啊!像往常一样,从这个叫做北京的地方飞向美丽的海南岛,这次与以往任何一次旅行都不一样,将要乘坐一种叫做船的家伙出海,听说还是木制的渔船,兴奋、开心、好奇、纠结、忐忑,等等一并袭来,组成了一支出发进行曲,在沐浴着晨光的心间来回荡漾。南航的A380,传说中的巨无霸,绝对比麦当劳里的那个有型,身披金光,霸气十足!可惜了,这不是飞海南的,我乘坐的A330,比起这个家伙,寒酸啊!登机就睡觉,惯例!眼睛一闭、一睁,还是在天上,再一闭、一睁,海南岛到了!4月的海口已然湿热无比,吹着微微的海风,晃晃悠悠来到了市区。05年至今来过海南五六趟,海口几乎没有任何变化,交通依然混乱不堪,只是原来满大街的摩托车变成了清一色的电瓶车,在大街小巷横冲直闯,真是佩服海南人的车技和耐心!吃,旅行的一个永恒主!文昌鸡、东山羊、加积鸭、和乐蟹号称海南四大美食,均已尝遍。海口街头巷口那些本地人光顾的大排档才是真正的美食聚集地,简单挑几张这次吃过的东东,出海之前吃饱喝足,到时候晕船呕吐才有体力啊!正,正,扯了半天都跑,出海的时刻即将到来!夜色中的港口一片祥和,殊不知再过1个时辰,待到风高月夜之时,我等将随船潜入夜,悄悄向西沙海域进发!深夜23时左右,船只出发了,如果一切顺利,将在24个小时后抵达西沙海域。几乎在所有的影像或文字资料中,海都是唯美和浪漫的代名词。然而当渔船驶出港口,理想和现实的差距渐渐拉开。船长说这次我比较幸运,海况还算不错,寒流刚结束,台风季节还没到,所以没有大的风浪。尽管如此,半夜在深海,浪也达到了1米多高,躺在船顶的甲板上,来回晃悠。夜深时,呼啸的海风夹杂在孤单的马达轰鸣声中,听起来格外恐怖。海浪一声声打在甲板、船身,偶尔还夹杂着雨点飘来,机房也飘来是刺鼻柴油味严重刺激了我的神经,在支离破碎的梦境中晃悠到天明。晕船,是必须的,出发前为晕船做了充分准备,买了晕船药和晕船贴,不过为了体验晕船的奇妙感受,这些东西都没用上。天将明,海浪依然不减,干脆起床站到船头甲板去吹海风,看海上日出。驾驶舱位于船只顶部,摇晃也最厉害。而机舱工作人员常年要在震耳欲聋的噪音中工作。一下到底舱,各种机器一同工作产生的震耳欲聋的噪音迎面袭来,船上无时无刻不在的噪音原来是从这儿发出的。几十吨的渔船在大海中,如同一粒尘埃,严重的颠簸摧残着我,船体有时候倾斜近20°,晕得厉害,没撤,日出是看不下去了,爬回甲板继续平躺,船工说,即使在海上工作了几十年的老船员有时候也会晕船。同行的哥们问:“晕吗?”答:“晕!”又问:“想吐吗?”答:“想,可我舍不得,昨儿吃的,鲍鱼!”船工过来喊我去下层船舱吃饭,挣扎着爬到船舱里,一股刺鼻的柴油味袭来,连滚带爬又回到了上层甲板,脑袋伸向大海,眩晕加反胃,开吐。吐完靠着船舷坐在甲板上,舒服多了,当时心里就想,回程也是同样的航程,我靠,没法活了。船长说:晕船是避免不了的,吃了东西,吐了,那就再吃……在轰鸣的马达和颠簸中度过一个白天,晕乎乎的躺在甲板上,船上的生活可想而知很枯燥。大海上一切信号都消失,不能上网,手机也只能当做闹钟用。心里琢磨,从来没有过的体验,连续躺着超过20多个小时,突然又想到还有回程,瞬间心里那个凌乱啊!天色暗下来,远处海平线上隐约露出了一个灯塔,啊,是北礁!激动的差点内牛满面。过了北礁,到西沙就只剩下不到5个小时的航程了,亲,你们能体验兄弟我此刻的心情么!继续平躺,船体从灯塔旁悄然驶过。航灯塔,在儿时的印象中,就是一位老人孤独地坚守在塔顶,日复一日为过往的船只指引前行的航路。从内陆前往南中国海,第一站是北礁灯塔,这个灯塔作用十分重大,过往船只都要通过它来核对航海参数。塔高23米,顶灯射程能够达到15海里。远航过的人都能理解,在黑夜中的大海上,远方的灯塔就像家一样温暖。从日出到日落,又一天过去了,西沙越来越近!在大海上,无风三尺浪,看似平静的海面,船体还是来回摇晃。在白天的航行中,偶遇了海豚,共三只,远远地露出灰色的背鳍,突然跃出海面,优美的划出一道弧线,落水后便消失了!日落的过程无法用语言去形容,绚丽的色彩用任何镜头都难以表达。黑夜又将来临,从出发到现在,已经过了23个小时,西沙海域,我们终于抵达了!天黑了,无法登陆附近的岛屿,船长说明天早上涨潮后再登岛,今晚继续在船上打发时光。整整睡了近24个小时,现在精神亢奋,钓鱼是船上最普遍的娱乐活动。船工打开船头的照明灯,大伙开始钓鱼,各种钓具齐出动。有用杆的,有用卷筒的,有的直接攥着一根鱼线,都能钓上鱼。钓到的都是些稀奇古怪的鱼,生活在内地的我们基本上叫不出这些鱼的名字。不到一个小时的功夫,已经钓上来几十条鱼,生鱼片敞开供应,渔获在甲板上直接加工,很美味,像嫩牛肉一样,入口即化。太阳再次升起,美丽的西沙映入眼帘,海面深邃幽蓝,太阳从海中慢慢升起,一会金色的阳光遍铺满海面,海水也变成了碧绿色。银屿岛,抵达西沙后见到的第一个岛屿,远远看去就像一道美丽的金黄色线条。这个礁石岛面积只有0.01平方公里,海拔不足两米,随着涨潮,面积将变得更小。岛上有几座渔民的棚屋,有些渔民常年驻守在这里进行捕捞作业。今天我将登陆这个岛屿,在岛上浮潜、露营!这些位于大海中的珊瑚岛,四周水很浅,我们的渔船无法靠近,只能远远的停泊在深海区域,依靠渔民的小船往返接送。这种小船配备一个小马达,最大承载量6-8人。渔民站在船上疾驶的造型太酷了,可惜我们没有这个平衡能力。来西沙很仓促,几乎没有时间去整理装备,胡乱装了一大包就来了。从小船上直接跳进海里,双脚浸入海水的那一瞬间,海水暖暖的,心都快化了。由于西沙群岛没有对外开放,再加之其地理位置远离陆地,所以它的生态环境得以有效的保护,真正体验到了清澈见底、碧波浩渺的传说场景。无数次看到马尔代夫、大溪地等著名海滩的图片,也无数次憧憬,来到西沙后,一切憧憬都是神马浮云,惊叹、激动、恍惚……长期以来由于环境恶化、过度捕捞,国内很多渔场已面临无鱼可捞,海南也不例外,近海的渔业资源也近乎枯竭。对于祖祖辈辈把大海当做粮仓的渔民来说,面前就只有一条路:去更远的海。西沙的很多岛屿上都有常年驻守的渔民,每个岛多则数十人,少则3、4人。他们每次出海驻岛作业少则3、4个月,多则半年、一年,甚至更长。在这与世隔绝、杳无音讯的海岛上,白天与大海作伴,夜晚与星月相依,日出而作日入而息,简单、枯燥、寂寞,日复一日,年复一年。捕捞上来的螺、鱼、贝等分类存放在这样的塑料框里,泡在海水中养殖,不定期就会有大型的渔船来西沙收购,纯天然无污染。面对这样的大海,没有理由拒绝,不管你是否会游泳,都要跳进她的拥抱,与之嬉戏!面对这样的大海,端着相机的双手都在颤抖,处处是美景,都不知从何处下手了。同行的有两个哥们带了哈苏和大义617胶片机来创作,我只能借机摆个POSS。碧绿的海水蔚蓝的天空让你无法控制自己身体对它的亲近,这里是绝佳的浮潜天堂。一个猛子扎下海去,很多海洋的动植物立刻将你拥抱,那些可爱的热带鱼偶尔会调皮地“摩擦和戏弄”你一下,冷不丁也会窜出一条长达1米的不知名海鱼从身边缓缓游过,擦肩而过时还痞痞的斜眼藐你。所谓的海螺、贝壳、珊瑚之类的暂且放下,还有更多的东西诱惑着你,鲍鱼、八爪鱼、海胆、海参、石斑鱼等等,知道名字和不知道名字的,以前看过的还是从未谋面的,数不胜数,都等着你去零距离地亲密接触。水下拍摄,第一次尝试,借来同行哥们的佳能D10水下相机,尽情拍个够。水下相机的色彩还原效果特别出色,也有用防水袋装着普通单反的,但防水袋的塑料折射率太差,拍出的效果也不太好。第一天登岛后没有太多经验,赤膊上阵,结果强烈的紫外线让我吃尽了苦头,接下来的几天内都是长衣长裤、鞋袜齐全下海,还好保护措施及时补救,才没有晒伤,同行的好几个哥们浑身晒得像煮熟的龙虾,红通通的,两条大腿似乎穿了性感的红丝袜。对于珊瑚,大家并不陌生,除了水族馆,大多见到的都是加工过的珊瑚石,这里的海底遍布活珊瑚,一猛子扎到海底,轻轻的拿起一块珊瑚体,软软的,触角还在蠕动,拍张照,再缓缓将它们送回海底。这里的海水透明度高达几十米,岛屿周边因为有浅滩,海滩延伸出去50多米,水深大多是齐腰或齐胸。一个人静静的浮潜在这里,大海、鱼儿、珊瑚等做伴,时间和思维都停止了,爬在水面上发呆,体验从未有过的感觉。聊天、唠嗑、摆龙门阵……没有酒水饮料、没有零食小吃,大家就这样坐在珊瑚礁上,泡在海水中,一个下午的时光就这样悠闲的度过了!既然是中国的领土,必定要有象征主权的界碑,西沙每一个露出海面的岛屿上均有边防等单位设立的警示碑。风吹日晒,很多碑上的涂料均已褪色,在附近找到烧过木灰,涂抹上,才显示出那些碑刻上的国徽和说明文字。岛上没有任何接待条件,除了孤零零的几座渔民的木棚,扎营是最佳方案,超级海景房啊,面朝大海,春暖花开!傍晚退潮的时候,岛屿一侧从海平面上渐渐露出了一片金黄色的小岛,覆盖整座岛屿的都是细细的珊瑚贝壳的碎砂,如同海市蜃楼般的幻境。傍晚,出海捕鱼的渔民回来了,今天的收成不错,光这条红鱼,就足足20多斤重。海水退潮速度很快,原本潜水才能看到的海底逐渐抬出海平面,变成了成片的礁盘,夕阳映射在礁盘上,散发出炫目的金光。退潮后的海水似乎也平静了许多,浪花拍打礁石的节奏也很轻柔,美,要怎么说出口。一天就这样静静的走向结束,坐在礁盘上,遥望北方,家,就在那里!傍晚,在夕阳悄悄躲进地平线以后,夜空亦非平时所云的点点繁星,那种大小不等、交织相连、层次分明的星云恰似一幅立体的抽象三维图案悬挂在天际。海浪早已退去,海风也平静得恍如催眠。整个空间的色彩也由泛黄、金黄、火红、亮紫、暗红在过度。刚才提到今天出海渔民的渔获不错,除了大红鱼和一堆螺外,还有这些貌不惊人的石斑鱼,石斑在内地市场的身价动辄几百一斤。但,在西沙,从渔民手中购买,低廉的价格仿佛回到解放前。([]

感谢各位驴友的观看,第一次写游记,水平有限,但是我会努力更新。各位有问可以在底下回复我,也欢迎给我支持鼓气!~谢谢各位 先上张封面图片D1 Los angles,CA 到洛杉矶的第一天,先是打个的士去herz取车,定的卡罗拉没有,就拿了个捷达顶替。开出来才发现前面没车牌,方向有点跑偏。然后找了个地方吃饭,买手机卡上网。美国的充值付款还是很方便的,几乎所有地方都可以刷信用卡,但是手机sim卡还是要到营业厅去买。找到个T-mobile的,插到ipad上找不到运营商,他们不敢激活,怕不能用,卡也不能退。找来找去都没有,就先去酒店check in。酒店离la的downtown挺远,沿着110号路开了半个多小时,路都是水泥路,噪音挺大,看起来很旧像是修了很久的。一边有7个车道,其中有2个快速车道独立分开,好像有规定两人以上还是什么才可以开,限速在55-65英里,一个个开的飞快,但没看到被拍照的。路上有摩托骑警,路两边都有围墙围着,还是可以看到很多电线杆,要没注意还以为回到国内乡下。没什么高楼,停车楼挺多,路边有的3刀一小时,有的5刀,在一个商场里面我们停了2小时8刀。很久没穿鞋了,突然穿了两天很难受,赶紧跑去买了双人字拖,17刀,回头一看made in china.酒店是个青年旅馆,环境不错,有山有水有公园,有篮球场还有各种公共服务设施。房间很小,好在是独立房间,还是上下铺,爬上上铺好像时光回转回到了中学寄宿生活。酒店折腾完,又继续出去找卡,找到个at&t的,排队等了好一会,买了个卡,35$有效期1个月,3gb流量,一般用是够了。半夜醒来,听到外面有水声还挺大,以为下雨,看了下原来是自动喷水的浇草地呢。看看附近的港口天气,这样天气适合矶钓,可惜什么渔具都没带,一会去附近渔具店转转。 神车捷达有点跑偏 自制晚餐很不错吧 果子吃到饱D2 Los Anglesey 早上起来下点小雨 D2 long beach 码头防波堤钓鱼的人不少价格真不便宜美式早点重口味,有点甜([]
当我回归安宁和悠闲的日子,每天照例踩着单车上下班时,脑子里不时浮现出那经历过的一幕幕,趋于平静的心却还常常滞留在那一边是美丽惊艳的风景,一边是让人死去活来的高反和惊心动魄的险路、烂路及考验人的堵车折腾里。咆哮的怒江,不敢再走第二次的“丙察察”线,开着杜鹃花的原始森林,晶莹剔透的千古冰川“仁龙巴”,让人目瞪口呆的“然乌湖”,美丽到窒息的“羊措雍湖”,壮观的“念青唐古拉山口”,令人惊诧的遍地野花……悬崖峭壁,窄道会车,流砂石块,陡坡烂泥,暴雨冰雹,高反缺氧……我们周而复始的克服着一个又一个的困难。曾经有人说:“丙察察”线是最危险的进藏路线,套用一位驴友的话:一条不是路的路,左边是滔滔的怒江,万丈悬崖,右边是陡峭的山崖和滚石塌方,中间是崎岖坎坷的沙石、泥坑、乱石堆积的所谓的路。如果你从丙察察线走过,你才是一个真正勇敢者,没有谁敢说是谣传。感谢队伍,感谢“岛主”,感谢一路与我相遇的所有人和生物。没有“丙察察”,你的人生同样完整。有了“丙察察”,你的人生会更加丰富精彩。 一直认为户外就是挖空心思千方百计去制造和衍生出困难然后再挖空心思千方百计的用平时自己也不相信的方式去克服这些困难其过程是你想像和难以想像的艰辛甚至无助却又是某种快乐慢慢的让那种过程的快感充实自己回来后忍不住的时时回味然后再周而复始的继续……这一趟等待我们的又将是什么困难和多少困难呢 临行前的一切此时已无需再去纠结该来的我们都将毫无办法的去面对应得的也不用担心有人抢走千万种想像终究有验证的一天坦然吧 掠过三清山掠过龙虎山掠过江西美丽的青山第一顿高速路的中午饭人一走近哗…菜的表层全是苍蝇蜂拥而热烈的欢迎我们这个季节这样的服务窗口居然连个菜盖也没有美丽的青山…打了折无奈只好让服务员从底下翻上可谁知道别人是不是也同样呢 出了南昌雨就开始下心情好即使雨那也是一路的清爽 湖南株州本行的第一个落脚点辣椒原以为早已忘记此时才从记忆中搜寻出来曾经也是一日不可无此君可口的菜适量的酒从此一路西去少佳肴 故地重游却不知道路在哪头曾经的熟悉早已披上了光怪陆离 只有一天我们就离不开了你在以后的日子里我们更依赖你并且一直伴我们回家 倒头便睡睁眼就吃易中天嘴下的幸福日子 所有队员在株州集结整齐刚要出发却发生了第一个插曲“画魂”的银行卡被柜员机呑吃一番折腾几小时后顺利上路雨考验人似的猛下而景渐渐的显示出应有的魅力 贵州安顺第二个落脚点到达时已是半夜匆忙住匆忙走一路风景在前头停欣赏会再走 白云缠绕青山悠悠恨不得带队伍走遍那山青水秀走过那道道山脊我承认我又开始了神游 暮色中我们到达了云南大理 山脚下是洱海 沧山上落日美景层层染 街灯下掩不住云卷云舒 迷离的色彩增添了几份暧昧 大理古城一个很有风情的小镇海拔2000连续三天赶高速队伍临时在此发呆休整老婆高反不适第一次起了回家的念头筹划好了回程的计划如此如此这般的一番安排 药店里迅速将“红景天”呑下期望有成效然后瞎逛 洋人街上除了本国人便全是洋人 前面说的不是废话因为这样平地走感觉正在好转 而这样有点下坡似乎已没了反应 挺有模样的真到了高原还能如此轻盈潇洒么 有点上坡的路那种不适的反应又袭了上来无奈拐进公园坐坐 不知所措的难受使不错的公园美景黯然失色 五色梅很耀眼的花一如公园内的众人晨练令人眼花缭乱并不时的叫好 我们下榻的地方纯粹的伪古 下午情况有所好转继续遛跶闹猛的三角梅 背缕里的小孩([
墨脱之旅已经整整过去半年了,然而它所带来的改变是无法用文字去表达的。行走在路上的人,执着什么,追求什么,坚持什么,也只有自己才能清楚,但是,走在路上,至少我们有一点是共同的,那就是那种可以被称之为理想的行走和跋涉。刚才,看到了8264《游记攻略》版上的驴友的文字“被篡改的莲花圣地——墨脱”,网上关于墨脱的争议也很多,内心居然有些不平静。其实,墨脱是什么,只有走过的人才清楚,墨脱永远是真实的、自然的,浮躁的永远是我们,每个人的心境不同,他(她)所理解的墨脱就不一样。 墨脱是我09年最深刻的一次旅程,不仅仅是旅途的艰辛,还有一路上心灵的感悟,收获的友谊。。。。。。那种体会是深刻的,于是,又有了把这次旅途的文字和照片整理出来的冲动。在这个寂静的夜晚,sjshsd再一次回到从前,回到雪域高原那漫漫无尽的旅程上。 从墨脱出来回到拉萨的第二天,我就一直辗转在四川、云南等地,为工作上的事情奔忙劳碌,那些通往天堂隔壁的脚步,仿佛已经渐行渐远了。墨脱之行没有给身体带来太多的疲惫和困顿,更加多的是沉积在内心无以表的沉默和失落。狂妄和冷静,激情和梦想,理想和现实,一直在内心纠结。那些在西藏的天空纯净的日子,那些墨脱路上痛并快乐着的回忆,那些一路上经历了艰难险阻、同甘共苦的队友,都会一直珍藏在内心的深处,永生难忘。 “身体下地狱,眼睛上天堂,心灵回故乡。走在路上,那是痛苦的幸福;走过之后,是幸福的痛苦。那些痛苦的回忆,那些被冰雪藏着的细节,让人幸福地想哭。”忘记了这段话是谁说的,但是,每一次的远行,每一次的穿越,每一次的跋涉,都有太多太多的感动和感悟。其实,精神的家园,很近,又很远,因为,它一直在路上。 我知道,下面,写下来的只是一个记录。人生的脚步永不会停止,一次旅程的完结又是一段远行的开始,穿越,永远没有终点。 (以下图片,都是队友们的集团创作) 7月12日的晚上,我和小溪经过三天两夜56个小时的火车,终于到达拉萨。当晚,入住拉萨的暮野驴舍,同来自全国各地的队友聚集。是夜,喜力做东,我们在一个拉萨当地藏民开的餐馆狂歌醉酒,餐馆老板领着他的服务员唱起了祝酒歌,为我们洗尘。老莫踩着他的破自行车从拉萨的另一端来看我,这个从贵港徒步进藏的牛人越来越年轻了,还煞有介事的介绍自己:拉萨市民。沉醉在温情和友谊中,西行的疲惫一扫而光。 7月13日,在拉萨休整。我呆不住,背着相机和小溪出了门。 我这是第三次进藏了。拉萨还是昨天的拉萨,天空纯净,阳光灿烂,高原上的鹰盘旋着疾飞而过。大小昭寺的广场上,聚集了朝拜的藏民,那种虔诚,依旧令人肃然起敬和感动。布宫以无与伦比的领袖的状态,站在这个城市的最高处,冷冷地俯视着他顶礼膜拜的臣民。拉萨城里寺庙里的大小喇嘛,沉默地注视着越来越多的游客,面无表情。一切的都没变,唯一变化的是这个神秘的城市的商业气息越来越浓郁。这是一种无法诉说的失落。 摄于喜力的暮野驴舍 出发前在暮野驴舍的留影。共同的梦想,把来自天南地北的我们,紧紧走在了一起,都是些素未谋面的朋友,在后面的旅途上,我们结下了深刻的友谊。 出发前在布达拉宫广场前的留影 旅程即将开始,下面简单的介绍下我的队友们。 领队喜力,也是这次活动的组织者、他象高原上的狼,身手敏捷,沉默寡言。 西安的老汉。高大的西北汉子,外表粗旷,内心细腻 郑州的老土。其实他一点都不土,豪爽,坚毅 郑州的小土。他是老土的“弟弟”所以叫小土,敦厚、纯朴 湖北的蓝海贝。她在行程最艰难的时候,用最优美的舞蹈鼓舞了我们的勇气 沈阳的磨磨。体力惊人,绝对巾帼不让须眉 同我一路西上的小溪。我的半个老乡,开平某中学的老师 D1:拉萨—八一镇—派乡,全程580公里 7月14日,我们起了一个大早,只是原定的早上9点过来的包车一直不现身。大家背着沉重的行囊,在布宫广场上转悠。 中午,用完餐,大家百无聊赖的站在餐馆的门口,等候姗姗来迟的包车 下午二点,我们包的面包车终于来了。车子开出市区,沿着318国道川藏线疾驰。车窗外,烈日高照,藏南高原上特有的风景一览无余;车窗里,我的队友们看着外面的风景,大家都沉默不言。这是一次不寻常的远行,在远方那未知的土地上,不知道等待着我们的将会是什么? 一路上风光无限。 这是老土透过车窗抓拍的一张照片。 我想,西藏之所以迷人,不仅仅是她风景的美丽,而是不管你是凡夫俗子,还是达官贵人,置身其中,你的心灵和灵魂都会得到净化和洗涤,回归恬静,那怕这种恬静,只是短暂的。 晚上9点左右,终于到达了林芝的八一镇。 在八一镇用过晚餐,已经是晚上的10点多了。晚上10点,在内地,已经是深夜了,而这边太阳刚刚隐去,正是灯火阑珊的时候。 从八一至派乡,渐渐的进入山路,上山,下山,一路寂静,路上空无一人。为了打破旅途上的沉闷,磨磨一路给我们说着冷笑话,没把我们逗笑倒把个西北大汉老汉惹急了,两人不停的斗着嘴,使这陌生地方的夜行充满了欢声笑语。凌晨十二点,汽车驶过一座山,路过山顶一门巴民族的村落时,黑暗中,我们居然发现有一门巴醉汉躺在路上,一动不动,着实把司机吓了一跳。 凌晨一点,终于到达了派乡。由于是凌晨,我们还逃过了150块的进山费。经过一天的奔波劳碌,在派乡一家四川人开的客栈,大家沉沉睡去。而我,躺在木板床上,辗转反侧,那些散漫每个角落的小虫,对我发起了狂轰滥炸,加上没水洗澡,难受极了。 D2:派乡-松林口多雄拉山(4170米)-拉格 早上6点,天还濛满亮,队友们都起来了。客栈老板娘早已准备好了早餐,全副武装,整装待发了。我由于昨晚没睡好,基本没吃欲,胡乱喝了两口汤水,就跳上了开往松林口的大卡车。今天,是徒步的第一天,要翻越海拔4170米的多雄拉山到达拉格。 今天,我们多了一位同伴,他就是门巴族的小向导白玛,今年18岁,没念过书,从11岁开始一直在派乡至墨脱当背夫,通晓汉语。白玛一路上沉默无言,使我们都有点忽略了他。后来在后面几天的行程里,我们都对他刮目相看。在危险的时刻,在队员需要帮助的时候,他都会挺身而出,就象一座山一样站在你身边,以至于我的队友在结束了墨脱的旅程后,还对他一直念念不忘。 车子沿着弯弯曲曲的山路爬行,一路颠簸着往山爬。从山腰上往下看,美丽的派乡一览无余的展现在眼底,只是由于卡车的激烈颠簸,大家都没有拍下照片。派乡境里最著名的就有素称冰山之母的南迦巴瓦雪山(海拔7782米),可惜由于天气的原因,我们都无缘一睹冰山之母神秘的颜容。而且,这里还有世界上落差最大的峡谷———南迦巴瓦大峡谷(垂落差达5000多米),在这个原始的村落里,有种恍如隔世的感觉,仿佛穿越了时光的隧道,回到了从前。 往松林口的路上,我们还检了三个自称“穷鬼”和“神经病”的小驴友。 三个“穷鬼”是在八一镇凑在一起的。自称“神经病”的家伙来自四川成都,那个穿红色衣服的是我的茂名老乡小黑,他们从成都骑着自行车,沿着川藏线一路狂奔了2000多公里至林芝的八一镇,又在八一检了一个来自浙江宁波的女孩。这两哥们把浙江女孩的重一点的东西都分了,自称“背夫”,管浙江女孩叫“老板”。 令人难过的是,墨脱的旅途后的2009年8月,“神经病”和小黑在那木措的路上出了车祸,小黑走了,神经病负伤。如今,伤愈后的“神经病”依然在云南继续着他的漂泊,而小黑却永远留在了他热爱的西藏。 从松林口往上,是无尽的攀爬 翻越多雄拉山口必须在中午12点以前,因为到了中午时分,日照强烈,多雄拉山上冰雪融化,冻土解冻,很容易引起塌方。所以我们都不敢怠慢,下了卡车,没做太多的停驻就开始徒步爬山了。一路大家都沉默,没有太多的语言。老土背着四十多斤的大包一直跑在队伍的前头,大步流星,仿佛象一个上了发条的机器,无法停止,这哥们不愧是当警察的,体力超强。我们的领队喜力一直跟在队伍的后面,照顾着跑得慢和掉队的队友,是一个很负责任和极具团队精神的领队,这哥们八次进藏,独自一人跑遍大半个中国,也许是长期独自徒步的经历,他习惯了独自思考,一路上话不多,沉默寡言。更多的时候他象一匹高原上的狼,身手敏捷,在陡峭的山路上健步如飞,每跑一会就停止下来,沉默地抽着烟,等待后面的队友。 在格萨拉穿越的时候,我不慎拉伤了小腿,所以这次我不敢掉以轻心,把背包的背负调整至最舒适的角度,不紧不慢的跟着队伍前进,平均每走一个小时停驻一下。之前看过太多关于多雄拉雪山的文字,关于突如其来的雪崩,关于山难,关于墨脱路上魂葬雪山之颠的驴友,这些让人忧心忡忡的消息,都抛至脑后了。此刻,美丽的多雄拉雪山就在触手可及处,安静地注视着我。四周开着不知名的花儿,在身边不停飞过的蝴蝶,还有树木的芬芳,我默默无语地走着,在思想的深处,同另外一个“sjshsd”做着深刻的对话。 我抬头看着纯净的天空。没有鸟飞过的痕迹。然而,我却飞过了,用自己内心深处的翅膀,飞翔在属于自己的世界!行走是自由的,心灵是纯净的。 一只飞翔的鸟,一个象鸟一样飞翔的人。 我是鸟人。 小土在聚精会神的攀爬。沉重的背负,从2000多米上升至4000米的海拔,使他看起来有些吃力,步履蹒跚,然而他总是咬紧牙关,不吭一声。我经过他的身边,拍拍他的肩膀给他鼓劲,他总是抬起头来,朝着我纯朴的笑,眼神中带着执着的坚毅。墨脱回来后,我时常想起他敦厚的笑容和坚毅的眼神,这种微妙的表情,只有走在路上的人才能读懂,真的。 经过三个多小时的攀爬,山顶离我们越来越近了。 中午十一点,我们终于到达多雄拉山顶 喜力在雪山之颠展示熟悉的8264的小旗。这面小旗至今还留在拉格的客栈的门边,看到这面旗帜,不管在哪里,驴友的心里都是温暖的,它传递着一种力量,这种力量来自内心的共鸣。 海拔4200米高的多雄拉山终年积雪覆盖,是从林芝派乡方向穿越大峡谷通向墨脱途中的第一座雪峰,也是最高最大的雪峰。通向墨脱的小径,就是沿雪峰之颠的垭口处延伸而去的。我站在山顶上,回望上山时的路,早已经被飘动的云层锁住,白茫茫一片,那些林立的乱石,那些水洼冰坑,早已被我们抛在了后面。这是多雄拉山的主峰垭口,也是通向墨脱之路的第一个险关,极目眺望苍茫的峡谷深处,心中有一种站在风口浪尖紧握住日月旋转的豪情。身边的队友挥着登山杖,大声唱着韩磊的歌,“做人一地肝胆做人何惧艰险,豪情不变年复一年,做人有苦有甜善恶分开两边,都为梦中的明天,看铁蹄铮铮踏遍万里河山,我站在风口浪尖紧握住日月旋转,愿烟火人间安得太平美满,我真的还想再活五百年!” 是的,向天再借五百年。 再活五百年,我依然还在路上,不畏惧餐风宿雨,不畏爬山涉水。([]

(本图片摄影:五月的麦子) 2、感谢有你! 在全体队友齐心协力下,转加拉朝圣之旅安全、顺利、圆满完成。感谢所有队友的辛勤付出。 在尽情感受领悟、慢慢回忆品味那一幅幅美景的同时,你还记不记得那一路上一幕幕尽情的欢笑? 2013,清明,西藏林芝,转加拉朝圣。感谢天!感谢地!感谢有你! 人生如旅途,祝所有的朋友一生平安! 3、 行程安排 3月28日,拉萨--工布江达县。 3月29日,工布江达县--嘎拉村--派镇。 3月30日,派镇--吞白村--索松村。徒步,扎营。 3月31日,索松村--达林村--赤白村。徒步,农家。 4月1日,赤白村--加拉村。徒步,扎营。 4月2日,加拉村--直白村。徒步,扎营。 4月3日,直白村--格嘎村--南迦巴瓦大本营。徒步,扎营。 4月4日,南迦巴瓦大本营--松林口--娜拉错--松林口。徒步,扎营。 4月5日,松林口--派镇--八一。酒店。 4月6日,八一--拉萨。酒店。 4、这是一条有着浓郁文化底蕴的线路 据传,莲花生大师在西藏传授佛法时,颇受阻折,同时他也预知了未来世界之乱。于是,莲华生大士依循着大悲的因缘,为了保存佛法,在东、南、西、北及中藏地区埋下了108处伏藏。这些很多教法、佛像、法药埋在不同的领域里——有的在瀑流,有的在山岩,有的在虚空,甚至有的在圣者的甚深禅定之中。 加拉一带,相传是莲花生修行和传教的重点地域之一。古茹洞、阎罗宫、洞不弄等圣地也成为信教群众的朝圣点。 长久以来,经历代掘藏师及高僧开发,加上信教群众的风尘仆仆的脚步,逐渐形成了转加拉朝圣路。 5、这是一条有着壮美自然景观的徒步线路。 海拔7782米的南迦巴瓦2005年被《中国国家地理》评为中国最美的雪山。在本徒步线路中,会有多个不错的观测点;世界最大的雅鲁藏布江大峡谷奔腾不息。在本徒步线路中,会有5天的时间近距离感受她的呼吸。两江汇流、直白小拐弯等自然景观亦值得期待。 6、这是一条追寻内心平静禅定之路 在川滇藏,各种“错”星罗棋布。但在南迦巴瓦的怀抱里,有那么一个“错”独居深闺,人迹罕至。这就是天脉神湖娜拉错。清明假期间的娜拉错冰清玉洁的样子,会给你的内心怎样的平静和震憾? 7、爱她,和她在林芝看桃花 三月的林芝,桃花朵朵开。 雪山下,雅江边。田间,村头。山脚下,半山腰。一株株古老的桃树正绽放着芬芳。林芝的桃花,清闲淡雅而不妖艳,自有一种自然脱俗的韵味在枝头。 与雪山为伴,与雅江为友,与青稞低语,与白云相依。林芝的桃花,在山色空濛中,为西藏的江南春色,增添了磅礴而细密的一笔。 爱她,和她在林芝看桃花! 8、3月28日,成都飞往拉萨途中。 3月28日,成都飞往拉萨的航班晚点半小时后起飞。此前,通过自助值机选择了一个左侧靠窗的座位。 天气真好,连绵的雪山如在眼前。鸟瞰的感觉很棒。人生就是这样,也像一只鸟儿,只有飞到一定的高度,才能更清楚地看清脚下和远方的路。虽然那样可能更累。 真的到了那个时候,你会不会因为有了更高的目,而继续迷茫甚至苦恼? 9、生命的痕迹 苍穹如洗。远处,一架飞机滑过,在天空中留下了一道印迹。然后,消失。 雅安地震发生了,带走了数百人的生命,为无数的人留下了身体与心灵上的创伤。关于自然,关于人类,关于生命,关于生活的本真与意义,又涌上脑头。人的生命,短暂而脆弱。在谋生的同时,在尽义务的同时,我们是不是也应该考虑,怎么才让这短暂的生命更有意义。 10、南迦巴瓦的影子 这条线路,实际上是“转加拉朝圣”与“徒步南迦巴瓦大本营”两条线路的结合体。看南迦巴瓦,当然是行程中的一个重点内容。 在从成都飞往拉萨的空中,我一直盯着舷窗外面看,试图从空中看到南迦巴瓦穿过云层的伟岸身姿。 11、神奇的冰湖 冰湖舷窗下,一“汪”冰雪之湖出现在眼前。白白的、纯净得如同一杯酸奶,安静地躺在大山的怀抱里。从形状上看,这好像是人工修筑的一个水坝,四周光滑平整。在这样的海拔高度,不知这个冰雪之湖覆着多么厚的冰雪。 没有人能走近她。在这个神奇的世界上,她兀自静立。 12、美丽的贡嘎河谷 经过两个多小时的飞行,飞机抵达贡嘎机场的上空。 美丽的贡嘎河谷蜿蜒曲折。河水绿中泛蓝,蓝中含绿,在荒瘠的山间,却分割构勒出一副美丽奇妙的画卷。 原始而荒凉的美似乎更能震撼人们柔软的内心。我们往往迷恋于这种美丽。 但在美丽的背后,却是隐忧。冬春季节,河水回落,河床裸露部分极易成为扬尘和浮尘的发源地。致使贡嘎机场上空能见度降低,威胁着贡嘎机场的安全。特别是冬春季节,大风扬沙天气出现的可能性更大。所幸,扬沙天气影响的航班,主要是下午起降的航班,对早晨(上午)起降的航班,影响较小。所以,不管你是进藏还是出藏,还是选择上午的航班更踏实些。 13、告诉我,你怎样去生活 宠物在争分夺秒地学习。吉祥在打酱油。 河童从重庆中转来西藏。杯具的是,她急急忙忙提前就赶到了机场,航班却取消了! “我的航班取消了!怎么办?”看着河童发来的短信,我似乎看到了她两眼涌出的喷泉般的泪。马上回了一条:“我们没时间等你了,你改成重庆几日游吧!” 根据原订计划,先期抵达拉萨的一凡提前准备好气罐等相应物资,然后直接和包车司机师傅到机场接我们,然后直接赶往派镇。 很明显,计划又要再一次重新调整。 这次行程,我把计划A调整成计划B,把计划B调整成计划C,把计划C调整成计划D。最后,从终点又回到了起点。 原来通报一凡我们9点半到达贡嘎机场。上飞机后短信通知他,飞机晚点半个小时。只要上过小学的人,不用列算式,应该也能算出我们到达贡嘎机场的时间。 不知道一凡在仓姑寺喝甜茶,还是借喝甜茶的幌子看美女。这厮居然计划中午12点来贡嘎机场。 生活就是这样,如果你无力改变它,那就转变一下思路,干脆好好地享受吧。 于是,我们无奈地,在贡嘎机场享受品味了把休闲时光。 14、贡嘎机场,等待队友的休闲时光 生活总在不经意处让你有所收获。 如果不是闲得实在实在实在太无聊,我都不知道机场的小推车坐起来居然可以那么舒服。 15、小景亦有大美 盼望着,盼望着,政委和司机终于来了。河童下午三点才能到达贡嘎机场。这么长的时间,总不能只在机场的广场上晒太阳。在机场附近随便找了个地方,品尝了下既难吃又昂贵的午餐后,我们让司机随便拉我们去个地方看风景。 沿着公路走了一段,路边的一段小河沟引起了我们的注意。天真蓝,云真美,普通的这么一个小河沟,居然也可以这么美。 如果是在内地,这样的小河沟,我猜环保局长真不一定敢下去游泳。 16、著名摄影师麦子在创作 这次转加拉朝圣,是和麦子第一次一起出行。以前只是在论坛上和群里见她发照片。时间久了,对摄影师的膜拜之情与日俱增。 我不懂摄影,所以对麦子的摄影水平到底高深到什么程度,不知所以。但麦子带了个广角镜头,又扛了个大白兔,这一路上不管再苦再累走得再慢,也不忘摄影。并且还不厌其烦地来回换镜头。然后对着我们又似乎是对着自己长叹:唉,我的胳膊都酸了。 麦子此行最经典的表现,并不是她的摄影水平。因为在一帮菜鸟的眼里,摄影水平高到一定程度,就那么回事了,概念就已经相当模糊。最多是个”高深莫测“一类的评语。至于高深到什么程度?高深在哪些方面?这已经超越了一帮菜鸟和吃货的理解水平。 但这并不说明麦子同学鹤立驴群不和群众打成一片。 在赤白村,麦子在给相机电池充电时,曾经对着插线板对政委发出了一句惊天地泣鬼神的感慨。对她的那句由衷的感叹,大家集体愣了一秒钟然后立马不约而同地笑翻了天。 麦子真是个单纯善良的山东大妞。谁听了那句话谁知道。 17、松赞干布出生地 3月28日下午6点,墨竹工卡县甲玛乡强巴敏久林,松赞干布出生地。我在打酱油,一旁有个藏族男孩在玩耍。 这位出生在松赞干布故地的普通孩子,不知道他怎么理解父辈们的业绩。或者,在英雄与常人之间,后者的人生,对他来讲才更为轻松,更有意义。 从拉萨到松赞干布出生地,一个多小时的车程。 18、几位年轻而美丽的队友在松赞干布出生地牌楼前合影 说起松赞干布,几乎便能同时想到小时候在教科书上就能学到的文成公主。在教科书上,文成公主是一个深明大义的优秀女性,被世代歌颂。在藏族传说中,文成公主也脱离了一个普通人的形象,成为受万人敬仰的神。 在神的光环与人之常情之间,人性往往被刻意地淡忘。 公元640年,唐太宗李世民感于松赞干布的诚意,答应和亲。但这位历史上开创了贞观之治的贤明君主并不舍得将自己的亲生公主远嫁吐蕃。于是,重任就落在了一个叫李雪雁的宗室之女身上。 在那个时代,这位16岁的宗室之女不可能有别的选择。 公元641年,经过长途跋涉,文成公主终于来到了吐蕃。在当时的自然条件下,这个只有X岁的女孩,是以一种什么样的心态,来迎接一个未卜的未来?那个在皇帝面前诚慌诚恐的江夏王,亲自送自己的女儿远嫁他乡时,真的会山呼万岁谢主龙恩? 成婚路,也是条不归路。 公元650年,与文成公主共同生活了9年之后,松赞干布去世。文成公主又在吐蕃独自生活了30多年。 那个为了迎娶她而建的布达拉宫,不再是她的居所。 在中国,典型都是“塑造”出来的,主旋律都是“唱响”的。在政治与人性之间,在歌颂与真实之间,后者总是那么无奈与缈小。 19、米拉山口 米拉山口。 米拉山口海拔5013米,是拉萨到林芝的必经之地。山口随风舞动的经幡,总是让人感觉那么灵动。过了米拉山口,就到了林芝地界。在林芝一侧,弯弯曲曲的盘山公路和垂直下降一般,海拔急剧下降。 从拉萨经米拉山口到达林芝,海拔从3500米抬升到5013米,再下降到2900米,这样的行程安排,按说不太科学。不过,飞林芝的机票委实比飞拉萨的贵出不少。其实我个人更喜欢这样的安排,旅行么,如果一成不变,那会失去很多的乐趣和意义。 但如果对自己的高反情况没信心,直飞林芝,当然也可能是个更好的选择。 20、米拉山口的吉祥 已近傍晚,天气也不好。不过我们还是在米拉山口逗留了很长的时间。 21、队友河童在米拉山口 河童要求加入的时候,我们其实已经满员了。 可是,我这人在心情好的时候,心肠总是太软,还是很愿意帮助别人的。而那时候,我正好心情很好。所以,面对她入队的要求,了解了她的户外履历后,我有点犹豫。 河童的个性名只有三个字:铜豌豆。 作为一个文科男,我无法不想到关汉卿。其实这应该是很正常的反应。问是,我又莫名其妙地想起了刘胡兰。 在QQ上交流的时候,河童说话很少,并且非常简短,一个字能说明问的话,你很难期望她说两个字。。我答应她考虑一下。就在第二天,河童就在QQ上问我:到底行不行,说个话!这口气,似乎她是队长,而我才是个队员。 我仍然在犹豫。收下河童,就意味着,还要再招一个人。可不收她呢,她又是那么想去。 于是,河童摆明身份,要求加分。于是,队伍扩编。 河童的体力非常好。更可贵的是,她行进中非常有节奏。她虽然话不多,走得也不算太快。但每次我抬起头来搜寻队友的时候,总是看到她在前头。 河童是个比较单纯的80后,年龄在队内最小,所以,这一路上,我们经常逗着她玩开玩笑。不能不说,河童的脾气非常好。虽然她的性格比较沉静,但学习成绩仍然不可避免地不断提高。于是,我们经常一边大笑,一边倍感欣慰。 体力好,只是河童的一个方面。在关键时刻,河童是一个值得信任的好孩子。行程结束返回八一,我们几个都醉了。结束时河童搀扶着队友向外走的镜头,一直定格在我的脑海里。 她扶起了队友,也担起了作为一名队友对队伍的道义。这是一个不善言谈,但值得信赖的队友。作为活动的召集人,我很感激。 河童,如果有下次,下次我们再一起! 22、米拉山口的麦子 大白兔就是很沉,麦子视为宝贝的镜头,差点丢在了这里。 23、米拉山口 米拉山口的两头大牦牛,真是威武雄壮! 24、3月29日,工布江达县前往八一的路上 行程结束返回八一时,在那个宾馆隔壁的饭店里,当我们一边嚼着什么什么鸭一边讨论这次出行时,我就很郑重地宣布过,这次出行,无论是线路来说,还是团队和谐程度来说,都是我这么多年来出行中最精彩的一次。没有之一! 后来我一直在想,像我这么一个常年呆在办公室,皱着眉头,黑着脸,板着脸,了无风趣的人,怎么带出了这么一支队伍?到底是什么因素,让我们这一路上一次次地说唱逗闹,笑翻了天? 整理照片看到这一幅时,我终于明白了。我是被他们给带坏了。 这世上,有些事,开始,就注定了结局。。。 25、飒爽的麦子 不戴帽子的麦子,更有那么一股灵动的精气神。 26、大长腿的大长炮 27、吉祥 2011年国庆节,我和大兵、宠物等一起走了丙中洛、碧罗雪山、雨崩。吉祥也是计划中的队友之一。但因事没能去成。 2012的国庆节,我和大兵、宠物等一起走阿里。吉祥也是计划中的队友之一。但因事又没去成。 这次,转加拉,吉祥终于成行了。 我应该打心眼里发自内心深处地好好谢谢吉祥。因为自从有了她,我这个传说中的“鸽子王”,终于可以摘掉这顶帽子了。 鸽子年年有。今年特别多。 第一批队友满员的时候,飞马了解了吉祥的光辉事迹后就曾经对吉祥说:今年你一定要成行哦,不然的话,就把你当鸽子炒了吃! 道上有句话,叫:与人方便,与己方便。那意思好像是说:别把人逼急了啊,给别人留条后路,其实也在给自己留条后路。 飞马明显地没给自己留后路,因为就在我们出发前没几天,他自己因事退出了。 我估计,当吉祥听到这个消息时,说不定一边表示婉惜,一边在偷偷地笑:应该炒谁呢? 吉祥的体力非常好。貌似我们俩个刚开始认识,是因为爬哈巴雪山的事情。后来她去了玉珠峰,并且登顶成功。当她站在玉珠峰顶,伸出两个指头,露出那两排大牙,对着相机大笑,现场演示什么叫2的时候(当然,她可能认为别人会理解成是胜利的意思),我还在背着个大包在某一并不知名的线路上徒步。 后来,吉祥又走过了龙眼。这条线路,在我眼里,也是大神级别的。于是,对吉祥的膜拜之情便如雅鲁藏布江般滔滔不绝。 不知道是因为长得苗条,还是体力太好,吉祥走起路来和那微风一样,轻轻地轻轻地就飘过去了。一愣神的功夫,就只有拍她背影的份。 吉祥性格开朗,乐观向上,吃苦耐劳,脾气格外地好。她做的香菇面条,那种香气,至今还在我的舌尖上萦绕。 温婉的吉祥很善解人意。 比如,在我长得黑还是长得成熟这个话上,吉祥和河童就持有鲜明的迥然不同的观点。吉祥一边笑,一边表扬我长得成熟。但河童就不同了。回来的时候和河童聊天谈到蚊子多的问,河童说她手上被咬了几个包,还留下了疤痕。我很奇怪,那我怎么就一口都没被咬呢?河童撇了撇嘴说:你长得太黑了,蚊子看不见你! 其实我发自内心地感谢并且佩服吉祥。我的不少照片,就是吉祥给我拍的。要知道,把一个又黑又丑的小老头,拍成个师哥,仅有高超的摄影技术是远远不够的,那还需要相当的心理承受能力。 吉祥,五一、端午、国庆节、明年、后年、大后年、大大后年、大大大后年~~你有啥计划啊?一起不? There are many like-minded asking me about it. I now present this thread to briefly tell everybody about my journey.The starting point of this traverse was from the highest peak of the western part of the Tibetan plateau, Jieshan Daban, and the day was April 20, 2010.I was heading eastward passing Bungdag Co, Yanghu Co, Rola Co, and Kangzhagri Mountain, which crossed over the desolate region from west to east. The journey continued northward to enter the unpopulated area of Altun Mountains, through Hoh Xil Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, Whale lake, ..., finally met some people by the Aqqikkol Hu and then arrived in Huatugou by vehicle three days later and that day was July 5. It had been 77 days in total. I had been all alone 74 days after leaving Jieshan Daban until arriving inAqqikkol Hu, which was about 1400km and about four months.[The Great Chang Tang] In Tibetan, "Chang Tang" means northern empty wilderness while narrowly, means unpopulated region in northern part of Tibet. However, it actually indiCATes all of the no man's land in northern. The great Chang Tang includes desolate places in Northern Tibet, Hoh Xil, Alun Mountains, and Kunlun Mountains, which are interconnected to form the unique and super empty wilderness in the world. Only because Hoh Xil is the most known name, most people just think this vast land is equivalent to Hoh Xil. In reality, Hoh Xil is only a small piece of the Great Chang Tang both administratively and geologically. The Great Chang Tang, the last land to chase your freedom and dream.The route that I traversed ForeplayI arrived in Tibet in the early March, a couple of troubles bothered me. The brand new plug got its positive and negative wrongly connected; the rivets of my rucksack eASIly got broken from now and again; and a multi-functional charger got damaged and so on. Riding my bike to Ngari for warming up of this journey, lost my rucksack but later got it back; lost my camera bag and got it back later again, and finally lost a big bicycle pannier in the street of Gyangze town under the eyes of police, including clothes, solar panel and so on.Without much choice, I returned to Lhasa to adjust all the stuff I would need in the wilderness. Then I begged some luck by going to Nyingchi to enjoy the blossoms of peach trees and to take a hot spring bath. I even had the privilege to enjoy time with ten girls in the hot spring. I felt my bad luck had all gone and then returned to Lhasa again to prepare going to Ngari. I did not expect that I was cheated on by some hustler and lost some money and delayed my schedule for a week. I had to find a car myself quickly to Nagri. However, I lost the tool for fast-parting my rear wheel on my way to Nagri, where was a remote area in Tibet and nowhere to buy the tool. Even if there was one in Lhasa it would take at least ten days for a special delivery service. I was lucky that my mate Duola asked a driver to bring the tool for me from Lhasa. I thought there should be no more nightmare like this but the nozzle of my brand new multi-fuel stove was broken. The next day I tried everywhere to weld them back together. The first three shops could not do the welding for copper. The fourth one said they could do it but could not guarantee a sUCCess. The engineer said it would be ten Chinese yuans if it was a success. I agreed. Just in seconds, my nozzle became crap in a flash of lightening. I was so upset. Again, Duola helped me by bringing her own MSR oil stove and Dingding's sleeping bag to Nagri. That was already April 16 and I did not have much time to waste. The following day I found a vehicle heading to Jieshan Daban.The sand storm over Yarlung Zangbo RiverA lonely peach tree blossoming in Yarlung Zangbo Grand CanyonNatural hot spring in wild, me singing and drinking (photo by a friend of mine) Day 1(April 20), 16km, Camping 5192mIt was a truck with a full load of iron wastes, arriving in Jieshan Daban at 6'o clock in the morning. It was still night and extremely cold and dark. Driver was not bothered to pop his head out of the driving cab. I climbed up on the top of the iron wastes, taking my bicycle down. In a hurry, I punched my old water bag. Fortunately I had another MSR water bag given by a friend of mine otherwise I would definitely fail without even starting my journey. For the first time for me to set up the brand new tent in strong, cold winds. It would be impossible to do so if the tent was not a whole piece. Extremely cold outside, about -15C, might be lower than that, I put my head into the sleeping bag but was nearly suffocated to death, honestly. The smell of Dingding's sleeping bag was, lol, so extraordinary. I woke up around 11 o'clock. There were still strong winds outside so that I had to use my bodyweight to keep the tent in place. At the time when I just started to cook and eat, four patrolling soldiers approached me. To their surprise someone, in this season, camped in Jieshan Daban. I was so nervous and afraid they were the people to block my journey because I was caught and deported from the desolate land last year. Luckily the four soldiers did not know my destination and were very kind to me. After they left, I immediately packed my stuff and pushed my bike into the depths of the unpopulated area just in case anything unexpected happened.The bike was very heavy due to the provisions and hard to control. There was even a quite small hill that I had to remove my bike panniers to get over it. This really struck me because this happened even the path was still the hardship one at the moment and I could not imagine what I would do once I entered the uncertain, endless wilderness. Until now I had not met anyone, even the nomadic pastoralists. I remembered there were quite a few of them roaming at the edge of the northern Tibetan plateau last year. All of these indicated it was not the good pasture season in such low temperature and strong winds. Around 16km there was a sheep cote, where I passed it last year, east of Lungmu Co. I was exhausted at this point so that I decided to camp in here and to rest my head. After arranging tent everything I went out to look for the wetland discovered by Duola and Liumeng last year. I was determined to find it.There were many hot springs in the wetland which were underground water with a constant temperature. The wetland therefore became an ideal habitat for some fishes and weeds under such harsh weather, which was the very unique land feature of terrain in this over 5200m highland.Perpetual snow in the valley blown to corn shape by strong windsThis wetland was discovered by Duola and Liumeng. The next day rather than continuing to travel, I stayed inside the sheep cote, hesitating and pondering over. Indeed, there were so many problems before this journey;I did not have sufficient physical preparation;the load had already reached its limitation; I still coughed a lot;the weather was so extreme and cold. All in all, I did not think this journey was well prepared and I did not have confidence in completing this journey mentally and physically. To do, or not to do, it was the question. Similarly I did not have confidence in my facilities, not knowing whether all of them would work functionally or not. The fact was one of the rivets got broken again and the front rack came loose. In the afternoon, I replaced all the rivets of the panniers with screws I had prepared before. This was an excellent job I had done which gave me no further troubles throughout my whole journey. I also re-adjusted the front rack. However I did not think it would definitely all right because I did not have a tool to do it. When the darkness descended,I made up my mind to continue my journey, which, of course, was not beyond any imagination. Orchid-like weedsSmall springs everywhere, clear and chillyA thin layer of ice covering the fresh spring water The sheep cote, it was the door under the sleeping bag, which was in the same place as last year, everything looked like yesterdayThe wetland at duskLungmu Co at dusk. You could hear the gigantic sound of wind if the picture had a sound Day 3 (April 22), 52.4km, Camping 5145mGot up in the morning, could not put everything into the bags. Without much choice I had to throw away three portions of tsampa, elbow pads, and crampons. Following the road of the lead-zinicmine I found the side path to enter the wilderness, which was on the riverbed and very hard to see. I missed this side path last year so that I had to take a short cut into the wilderness directly then. That was why I had taken extra care to find the side path. The following journey was to get over a big hill, which lay 5275m above sea level and was the highest point of my whole journey. Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I passed the side path leading to Orba Co and started a journey which was complete strange to me. I ate a piece of pilot breads, which was frozen like rocks so that I had to use my spade to crush it. At 6 o'clock in the evening, I had pushed plus rode my bicycle for about 32 km. I reckoned I should have been able to double this if I did no carry such heavy load. The wind became stronger and stronger. I opened the parasail kits and tested it. The result was far beyond what I expected. With the aid of the strong wind I was just like flying over the wilderness. After 8 o'clock in the evening, I started to observe the water Source and to get ready to camp. Map showed there were successive springs along the path and assembled to puddles. But I had overestimated the water source here in this land and in this season there were endless wilderness inside the valley, where I could not see a single drop of water. As it became darker and darker, I felt a little bit nervous which resulted in three spokes of the parasail broken and became a useless rubbish. Anyway, it helped me to move forward 20km more which benefited me a lot later on. When time approached 9.30 pm, it was almost completely dark. I had to lie my bike on the ground and went on to try to find water on the north side of the valley. This was a wide and flat sandy land, where I could not see any ditches there and further was complete darkness. I returned to get my GPS to look up the contours and found the south part of the valley was closer to a hill so I took the way. Finally I found a piece of ice in a ditch. I smashed about 20litre of ice. The ice was quite shallow scattered with sheep poo. On my way back, my eyes were hurt by strong winds, which got me a couple of days to recover. It was nearly 23 o'clock after I set up the tent. It also took about 40 mins to melt the ice. I was so tired and my appetite was completely spoiled. I then had a little bit of milk. I had never expected thing would go like this, it was so distressing. Streams along the path, ice everywhereThe river flew into Matou Hu, in whose north part there was a satellite lake, a wonderful ice-skating court It took 40mins to melt the ice in midnight Day 4 (April 23), 31km, Camping 5028mA cloudy day with gusts. From now and again, hails chased me from behind. Sunny spell. Heavy sandy land made me have to push my bike. At 3pm, I arrived at Luxing Hu, where there was a house made of clay. This was the last permanent building of my journey. Last year, Duola and Liumeng once lived in this house for three days without meeting anybody. It seemed it was the same but the truck parking in front of the house made me worry about. I went to the sheep cote first to check over, where there were only a few lambs following me everywhere I went later on. This made me feel warm in my heart. I observed farther places using my binoculars but could not see any people or sheeps. After making sure there were no people around I opened the locked door using a screwdriver. The living room was very clean. There were two boxes of beverages on the ground and a string of cured lamb legs hanging over in the interior room. A pot of water was on the top of the stove, lukewarm, which indicated the host must be not far away from his home. I filled up my water bag and left the house. I also put the screws back to the door in order not to leave any trace of my visiting. I then took a spanner from the toolbox of the truck, which gave me great help for the rest of the journey.I left the house as quickly as possible. After last year's experience, the nomadic pastoralists were the last people I wanted to meet. A few hundred meters away from the house, the vehicle traces were fading fast. Even downhill, I had to push rather than to ride because of the heavy loose sand. From the route point of view, only after Luxing Hu it was the real unpopulated land. After many days, I thought of the lamb legs from time to time. It was pity that I then had plenty of provisions and the bike was too heavy to carry anything more. Continue to melt the ice under the morning sunshine, all of the sheep poo had been removed carefullyCamping site, the little hill over there was the place where I got the ice last nightThe house by the Luxing Hu, empty, the last permanent building I saw throughout my journeyDay 5 (April 24), 19.8km, Camping 4951mSet off at 10.30 in the morning, the weather was similar to yesterday. Probably this road was the high plain or somewhere the wind passed so that it was so windy. The average wind speed was degree 6 but could reach degree 9 in the blick of an eye. The road was still full of sand and very heavy to walk on it. My eyes became worse under such harsh weather. About three o'clock in the afternoon, I saw something in my right, looked like antenna. I went closer to see what it was and found out it was an iron tower (the triangulation station). In 1970s, a joint team from Chinese three military regiments entered this area doing research. They have left a lot of triangulation stations and benchmarks, which I had the priviledge to see them today.At dusk, I approached to a spring by the Bungdag Co, which flew into the frozon lake. The sand and soil, brought by the strong wind, scattered on the surface of the ice all over the lake. There were so many cracks around the icey surface of the lake. I geussed it must be caused by the springs under the water rather than by melted ice. In the west of the Bungdag Co was the side path leading to Keriya Pass, where a SUV could reach directly. I had looked out any vehicle Tracks but failed. The cloudy sky started to snow. I set up the tent comfortably because I knew that I was safe having such a sweet spring beside me.Triangulation station erected by scientists from the joint research team on Chang Tang of three military regiments in 1971[size=+0]The gap between water and ice in Bungdag Co, I guessed there must be some springs under the lakeThe storm just above the ground, a chaotic darkness[size=+0]Icy Bungdag Co,one of the four biggest lakes in Northern Tibet, wild ducks flying over this vastness and lonenessSnowing at any time, should not happen so frequently like this in this seasonDay 6 (April 25), 4.3km, Camping 5002mWeathering landforms everywhere around this area. Spongy volcanic rocks could be found easily. I pushed my bike turning around a small hill, seeing a big river, the Yinshui He, flowing from Orba Co into Bungdag Co, which I had been to its upstream last year. It was also a passage for animal migration. The downstream of the river was extremely wide and broad. The thickess of the ice layer could reach one meter with the main stem in the middle course of the river, very deep. There were a few springs along the river, sweet and clear.I only went forward a little bit more than 4km but I had walked more than 20km for finding my way. It was not possible to cross the main stem, let alone the north bank of Bungdad Co. What I could only do was to try to find a shallow place to cross. But the southern area was a even larger piece of wetland and forced the road turn towards west. I spent a couple of hours but failed to find a good point to cross the river. In the afternoon, I decided to follow the edge of the wetland. When I reached the hill foot, the wetland finally disappeared. Around this area, there were clearly volcanic feature of terrain and I even found traces of pasturing and cairns made from volcanic rock.Here was the last pasturing trace I found throughout my journey, I guessed it was a summer pasture area. After this, there was no clear sign of human activities in this vast wilderness. I had been looking for my ways until it was dark. I made up my mind where to go TOMOrrow. The terrain here looked like Yardang landforms, as well as volcanic landforms The Yinshui He river from Orba CoSprings scattered all over the river bank, painted green by lovely algaeThe river was very deep. The mixture of green and amber colour showed the sand and mud carried by the melted iceThick layer of ice, sunken surface caused by strong gustsThe south course of the Yinshui He, countless small streams. To the right was the wetlandLooking for ways in the east, a trace of pasturing and the cairn made from spongy volcanic rocksMy camp, opposite to the hillDay 7 (April 26), 11km, Camping 5009mI moved forward to the direction I found yesterday, turning around the wetland and walking toward east. At 2pm, I was blocked by the zigzag Yinshui He again and I had no choice but to cross it. The river was about 700m wide, covered by ice which appeared very different. The hanging ice, the folding ice, the piling-up ice, the icy puddle, and the sleet were everywhere along the river bank. Having noticed all of these, I reckoned the river would be receding at dusk, which was why there were so many different shapes and forms of ice. I put my slipper on, going into the main stream of the river. I found there were at least three different courses of the river, the thickness of the surface ice varied and the river water reached above my knees. I sighed there would be no way back once I crossed this river. There are many ways in one's life too, you can only take it once and you will no long have the courage to repeat it.I pushed the bike crossing the river. Some of the ice was a bit soft, jamming the tyres so that I had to use my feet to break them first. Some of the ice was a bit thick but with half-melted underneath, sticking the the bike completely, some of the ice was half-water half-ice with a sandy riverbed, which was really hard to pass. I had to remove all of the panniers at the last stage of the crossing. I spent the whole four hours to cross the river, my legs got many bloody cuts. At 6pm, the surface ice was almost disappeared completely, the river level rapidly rising to a chaotic status. I thought if I hesitated a little bit at that time, I could not have the courage to cross this river under such circumstances. The river bank was unimaginably sandy and was quite steep. I had to unloaded the panniers again to reach the top of the bank. By the time of sunset, the weather became exceptionally good. The sunlight from the descending sun, the blue sky, the faint moon, .... I liked such a colorful and peaceful Chang Tang and very much enjoyed my camp and myself bathed in such beautiful colour.The ice like this was very thin and suspended, far away from the main stemHard surface with half-melted underneath, the soft sand at the botton was most scaryThe ice like this could easily jam the wheels, hard to get it outI had to unload the panniersChaotic water and terrible hails turned up in no timeThe Chang Tang at the moment liked it used to be,a mixture of cold and warm tones under the golden setting sun Day 8 (April 27), 14.6km, Camping 5112mLast night, I forgot to bring in the odometer, which was out of order due to the coldness in midnight. Since then I used GPS to check the mileage. The digital thermometer was no longer working. I had to use mercury thermometer to collect data. Night temperatures were basically between –15℃—–20℃ while the temperature inside my tent was about –10℃. The advantage of the integrated tent was that it limited the ventilation so to keep warm inside. However, it got clearly disadvantage of heavy condensation and dew. Every morning, there was plenty of frost inside the tent so that I had to put my hood on First Before fully getting dressed. The winds in Chang Tang finally became consistent with the pattern I had researched the other day no or very tiny wind in the morning, strong wind started after 2pm, and then at around 8pm its strength was reduced again. The accuracy of this prediction was about 80%.The road was very bad today. I walked whole afternoon in an ancient riverbed and it was so difficult that I had to use all of my strengths to move a small step forward and then to stop to breath, slower than a snail. After five hours' struggling, my eyes got wet when I saw the grassy river bank. Finally! The nightmare was over.Cold and clear morningHeavy morning condensation in the interior, a lot of frost to clearSuch dawning sunlight indicated a cloudy day ahead Day 9 (April 28), 18km, 5072mIn the morning I entered a range of sandy roads which were so terrible. The solar panel specially designed for GPS got short circuited. After checking it was found to be the diode got damaged. Luckily I got a replacement. Because the GPS was exclusively supplied by a solar panel so that it was no longer a problem for the power supplement of GPS. In a period of 70 days, I did replace the battery once, which saved me a lot of alkaline batteries. I did have another solar panel of 5.4 W which was used specifically for 7.5V Camera, DV and other digital facilities. Unlike water, I had never been short of power.At 7pm in the evening, I arrived at Pur Co. The surface of this lake was very odd the ice by the river bank rose and the river bank was broken, I reckoned that was due to the strong winds. The ice there was mingled with something yellow, could be the stain of alkali. There were many wild yaks on the other side of the lake. There could be two brown bears but I could not be for certain. On the east side of the lake, there was a peninsula leading to the centre of the lake. I camped just opposite to the peninsula. At night , I smashed the ice to get drinking water, which tasted alkali. For the first time I cooked the cereals, which was brought completely by accident. This was just because I found there was a little bit of extra space when I was in Nagri packing the stuff for this journey so that I bought two packs of cereals. It tasted disgusting, probably there was too much alkali in the water. I threw away half of it. Later I realised that probably I subconsciously felt that the provisions was so heavy. The wild yaks clustered into small groups. All of a sudden, there was a group of five of them running towards me, blowing a huge cloud of dust with the power of thunderbolts,I believed that anyone who did not know the characters of the wild yaks must be frightened to death under such circumstances. The fact was the wild yaks in groups never injured people. Rushing to you just to show you its territory. When they approached people at certain distance, they would turn sharply and run away, and then stopped somewhere high to stare at you. You can not imagine that the wild yaks were very cautious animals compared with its almost one ton of weight. Their first reaction, when meeting people, was to raise their tails, the front hooves rubbing against the ground, the horns pointing forward, the eyes redden, and the long body hair shaking, all of which showed their determination to fight.This was the warning sign that you should retreat. However, you should realise that this was only a gesture that they were afraid of you and wanted to scare you away. The thing was that if you were not afraid of them and moved forward, they would run away in no time. There were only some mad yaks attacking people, which was really rare to happen. In Chang Tang, an experienced driver know that it is very dangerous to pass directly from two or three lonely wild yaks. They always tried to avoid confronting them directly. If this was not possible, they would lit a cigarette, smoking, to wait until the yaks walked away themselves. This was because the wild yaks really could attack vehicles, which was not completely rumors. I once asked them why I had not been attacked. They told me that because my bike was so small they would not be bothered to attack it. My own experience was that approaching a wild yak very slowly, do not look into its eyes, and ignored what it was doing. As long as it moved forward a little bit, just stop and give the yaks a little bit of time to think. Because if you forced the yak, it could be themost dangerous animal in the world and nothing could stop them killing. Even a gunshot could not kill it but only left a small hole in its skin. In the past, the nomads living near this land would use yaks' skin as chopping board which was very much endurable. At noon, I lost my balacLAVA, which was brand new and I had never used it once. I could not be bothered to go back tofind it. This resulted in that I had to have my fleece hat day and night in the rest of my journey, which did not provide fully protection from the sun in the plateau. But somehow I was all right, perhaps because my skin is similar to those of yaks, lol. At around half past one, I found a deserted Jeep, upside down. I felt it could be there for years and it could be the vehicle of someillegal HUNTERs. Nowadays, we have wildlife conservation reserves in Chang Tang and the animals here are well protected. However, some people kills the wild yaks to sell them as the domestic yak's meat. In general, it is worth 10,000 Chinese yuans for a single wild yak. Therefore many people take the risk to make money. They often enter the unpopulated areas to hunt and their activities can reach 200 km in diameter. This is why the wild yaks in the deep wilderness are less afraid of people than thoseat the boundaries of the Chang Tang region.There once happened that a wild yak mother revenged its baby's murder in the Altun mountains. Its horns pierced the killer's chest and held his body over its head for more than ten days, which was very touching.Around 3pm, I walked out of the Pur basin. The next point was Hong Shan Daban and then it was the Yueya Hu by the Toze Gangri. At this time I found a vehicle track from south to north. I checked over but could not find the way where they had gone. I took my map, GPS, and compass, climbing up a small hill to estimate the location of Hong Shan Daban. The mountain was very round and it was hard to find the mountain pass. After determining the location of the Daban, I moved straightforward. When I passed a messy grassland, I saw something that I was reluctant to see more than hundreds of wild yaks' head scattered all over, which was definitely the scene of the illegal hunting. After that it was a very long ancient river bed with soft sand slowly rising until the foot of the mountain.There are some spines on the surface of the tongues of wild yaks, which are used by nomads in this area as combs. They use them from their teens to the time when their hair becomes silver.The deserted Jeep, could be left by illegal hunters years agoThe slaughtered wild yaks with the wheel size heads. Some of the skulls were chopped into half. Why was that? Could be taken away for making combs?My camp at the foot of the Daban underthe lingering golden rays of the setting sun. Tomorrow's weather must be wonderful, I reckoned Day 11(April 30), 20.4km, Camping 5120mThe surface of the road leading to Hong Shan Daban was very hard, most of them were small rocks, sort of gravels, plus a quite long downhill slope, I pushed my bike more than 20km for the first time after Luxing Hu. The mountain pass was quite flat, just like a broad ridge, it was 5256m above the sea level. Upon arriving at the pass, Toze Gangri of 6356m was in my sight clearly, very much round and there was no back bone like normal snow covered mountains. Most of the snow mountains in Chang Tang looked like this probably it was due to the geological movements. There were quite a few chirus or Tibetan antelopes in the valley but I was not interested in this kind of animals anymore after I witnessed a large scale of migration of such animals last year elsewhere.The herbivorous animals here are very quick to reach its original size of the population, such as wild yaks, chirus, Tibetan gazelle, pika, and marmot. When you go into the depths of the Chang Tang, you could hardly be surpised by the sudden appearance of the chirus because they are so common in here. At this time of year, the chirus have already male-female parted. You could see many pregnant female chirus but hardly see any males. According to recent research, Zonag Co is not the only lake for breeding. There are at least four of them in the whole Chang Tang. Zonag Co, Tuzi Hu, Heishi Beihu, and another lake I can not remember. I think there must be more than four of them and most of the populations do not migrant long way like most people used to think. They generally migrant from south to north between Central Mountains and Kunlun Mountains.The chirus looks very timid but are very curious about outside world. They are not really afraid of people, particularly in the depth of the Chang Tang. The nearest distance we can approach is about 30m. They just stare at you calmly and think who you are and why you move so slow. They would run in front of you. Look like they are afraid of you but the fact is they are playing with you. A man's own character shapes his fortune. This is of course suit for animals too. The chirus are the typical one. They have a super speed and a pair of sharp antlers. If they are crazy, three of them work together could easily kill a wolf. But as you might have known, their antlers are just for fighting to mate with females.Down the Daban there was a very steep and straight road, I tried to ride the bicycle but ended up with falling over. The front rack came loose and one of the pannier flew into valley. The foot of the mountain was the Yueya Hu covered by ice, which was alake full of heavy metal elements. Along the lake bank there were many stark rocks very much weathered, lining up just like castles or houses. This made me stop to investigate what they were from time to time, I did understand they were just rocks though but they were so real like the figures of real people. On of them even made me hide in a ditch, observing them again and again using my binoculars. There were also many black volcanic rocks. All in all, the features of this area were really unusual.Passed over the Yueya Hu, it was an endless ancient lake bed. What my GPS showed was this area was a big lake like tentacles. I looked around, it was endless wilderness without a piece of ice and a drop of water. Roughly, I estimated this lake bed was about 1200 square meters. I had to tell you that Chang Tang was a place where there was no high-resolution map. The marks in the map often were some kind of memory. Just like this ancient lake bed under my feet, may be it was full of water a few years ago. Who knows. Pushing the bike in such an endless lake bed was very easy to get lost. About wildlife (part 1)Declaration Personal experience for reference onlyDangerous wild animals and their threats to human beings are a ever-LASTING subject for those backpackers travelling in the wild.In Chang Tang, for example, there are two kinds of deadly animals, one is wolves and the other is brawn bears. As substitutes, wild yaks and crows might be dangerous to you in some circumstances that I will come back to this a little bit later on. As for how to protect yourself against these dangerous animals, I think the primary point is you do not try to hurt them because the emotions of human and animals are same instinctively. [Wolves]Throughout my journey, I met wolves a total of seven times, in which I confronted them five times. As you might have known that wolves have become more and more solitary animals, it is very rare they live in a large group nowadays. Please allow me off the point a little bit and talk about the ecological problems in Chang Tang. The problem is now not the decrease of the number of the chirus but the imbalance of the whole food chain, more specifically, the number of the animals on the higher trophic levels of the food chain has not yet reached its ideal level which results in this kind of imbalance. Particularly, the pikas and the marmots who have lost their predators rapidly expanse which results in the desertification of Chang Tang. As early as the middle of last century, wolves were the dominant predators in the vast wilderness. They became a threat not only to other preys but also nomads pasturing in this land. Therefore, the then government called on people to cull back the population of the wolves in Chang Tang, which resulted in the current situation directly. The last official record about wolves attacking humans was around 1970s, which happened in Bamaoqiongzong. A team of secientists was surrounded by a group of wolves and they had to shoot them using guns. Of course, at present in Chang Tang, wolves are absolutely lonely.In this traverse, the first time I encountered a pair of wolves, one of them staying in front of me pretending to attack me while the other staying behind me. This is the standard attacking strategy of wolves. First, you should not be nervous which can be easily detected by the predators. Second, you should not retreat even an inch because this means you are the prey rather than the predator. Do not make any large movement, of course you could take a picture if you feel safe to do so. You must look into its eyes for a few minutes or even half an hour. When the wolves can not work out who you are and consider you are not posing any danger to them, then they will leave. You should remember that wolves in this land do not lack of food and it is much easy for them to catch a pika than a human. Even if being hungry, they would evaluate how easy to get you done, What you need to do is to show them that you are not interested in them and you are not afraid of them at all, let alone to show your ID card to them. As for the wolves family, really, I have not heard for ages. If you really have an encounter with them and they have no other choice, then it definitely depends on your forture. In fact, for so many year, it has been very rare to happen that wolves kill human. But the rumours are still there, in particular, the road connecting Xinjiang and Tibet.The nearest encounter with a wolf throughout my journey, no conflict at all[Brown Bears]Brown bears are real dangerous animals to human. Every year there are some accidents happened in some regions of Xinjiang on the north side of Kunkun Mountains and steppes in Northern Tibet. More than that the bears could attack your house, smash your windows, and eat your sheep. Therefore, in Northern Tibet some local councils give subsidies to the pastorarists for compensating the losses due to the bears because they are not allow to fight back and kill the bears except their lives are in great danger. Once there was a nomad taught me a method to protect yourself from bears. He told me to pick up a stick to feed the bear and the bear thinks the stick is your hand which tastes disgusting. So the bear would leave. It was so funny but the reality is to find a stick in this vast wilderness is just like you win the lottery.Bears are omonivorous animal who are generally not interested in human flesh. You can find that in most of accidents, the bears did not eat any of the human flesh rather they just smashed them for kind of fun that we could not understand. For the reason why bears kill human, one explanation is the conflict between human and wildlife in this extreme ecological environment. The nomads invade the habitats of the bears, which results in these conflicts. On the other hand, it might be because bears have quite high IQ so that they think it is much easy to kill a sheep in the cote rather than to kill a pika in the wild.I have met bears five times in my traverse, in two cases we were very close to each other. I had even walked with one of them for quite a while, just like we had a date for a walk. The fact is it is not that terrible like you might imagine. The same rules for dealing with wolves apply to bears. Never provoke dangerous animals. A bear can run at a speed of 40km/h, do you think you can compete this in a highland 5,000m above sea level?However, there is a situation where it is really dangerous, that is the encounter. It is not easy to control your instinctive reaction to the external dangers. Last year once I turned around a hill, there was a bear just in front of me. The bear of course was frightened by me with its front legs holding up, waving in the air and roaring. At that time I sat on the ground, ignoring it. The bear then left in a few minutes. Chang Tang is a vast land so that this is not that easy to happen. But if it does happen, really only God can bless you.The nearest encounter with a bear throughout my journey. I will no longer talk about it.This was the funniest encounter with a solitary wild yak, who did not warn me. If I sat down, it sat down too. If I moved forward, it stopped. Could not imagine what it was thinking about.[Crows]Crows are dangerous only when you fall unconscious in the wilderness. Of course they will be the first to taste your flesh in that case. Unlike their cousinsliving in urban areas, the crows in Chang Tang have a larger body like eagles. When they fly over your head, you could feel like it is a piece of cloud. They are scavengers but like fresh meat too. It once happened that a baby was killed by crows relentlessly, let alone the lambs got killed by them. Once a nomad asked me for fireworks to scare the crows away. (They are sacred birds not to be killed by human)It is easy to defend yourself against crows, that is to keep fighting, never fall in the wilderness.A short break attracted the crows. Of course, they were miscalculating this time, photo taken last year[Strategies Adopted]At the time when I met the four soldiers in Jieshan Daban, they said there were many dangerous animals in the Northern Tibet and asked me if I had brought a shotgun. I think if they knew that I would enter Chang Tang they would definitely check if I really have a shotgun. The so-called defence facilities I brought with me were the fireworks and pepper spray. I had never used them. The fireworks were ruined and thrown away when I crossed a river and I had never opened the pepper spray. I even had never thought about this when camping in the night. The reason was I did not feel the needs. During the day time whenever I met any animals I had never touched the knife I had brought. I did not have anything to defend myself when I walked out to investigate the route. The Chang Tang is really a vast area so as to be very easy to detect anything strange.By the way, you'd better to avoid mating season's animals because even tamed rabbits could be aggressive in mating season.The thing is even if you have a gun, it is not very much helpful when bears attack you. Therefore, your attitude is most important.I can tell you something. Dogs are more dangerous than these wild animals. I had been chased by Tibetan dogs, pounced on by dogs in mating season, also besieged by a group of dogs. I really feel it is more useful to know how to defend a dog.Declaration again The above experience is from Chang Tang only. Of course, the more you prepared, the better. Day 12 (May 1), 23.8km, Camping 5117mToday was May 1 -- the Labour Day, I had been walking in some lake area marked in the map but clearly dried up. The lake basin was flat and hard so that I even pushed my bike more than 20km. Let it be the special treat for my May Day. After midday it became cloudy with growing winds. Since the Yueya Hu that I passed yesterday, there were no big lakes until Yanghu Co (My route would be between Jianshui Hu and Bairab Co), there was even no light alkaline water to drink so I had to pay extra attention not to miss any possible drinking water supply to fill up my water bag. There were a few very small lakes but all were alkaline puddles which was very shallow, whose depth was no more than the length of a half-finger. These puddles were covered with a hard shell of the mixture of salt and ice which smelled stinking and decaying when getting closer, must be toxic water I supposed. On the shore of this type of small lakes it was muddy soil and very hard to get closer.There was no sign of tundra at all.It was almost half past six when I found some snow corns in a ditch, which was the only drinking water supply of the day. There was a thin layer of melted ice on the surface of the ground near the snow corn, which was very hard to collect and was contaminated by the alkali. The snow corn was the yet melted thick snow, which was shaped like a corn by wind. The snow was quite hard and dry,porous like ice. I crushed a few snow corns, putting them into the water bag.They would be my drinking water tonight. These snow corns were the only one in today's wilderness, I reckoned the reason why they were not melted like others was the soil underneath contained large amount of ice blocks which acted as a freezer.Very strong gale in the night, it was hard to bear the sound of the vibration of the tent. Small single tent was good in the sense that it would not be blown away as long as you stayed inside. But you had to be very careful to set up the tent. I once did not pay much attention when doing so, the tent was blown away by winds, and rolling over like a Giant lantern ... I ran after it, got it back, and was exhausted. In general, it is not possible to fix the tent completely using tent pegs because they were not very much effective like large tents. It was snowing around 23 o'clock, the winds were howling from north,then the falling snow flakes landed on my tent quietly, I finally felt at peace and fell asleep. The flat ancient lake basin, assisting me walking more than 20kmSmall lake en route, toxic waterSnow corns, the only drinking water supply today Day 13 (May 2), 0km, Camping 5117mWaking up in the morning and opening the tent, the heavy snow outside must be sent by the God to force me have a break for the May Day. After lying in for a while, getting up and walking on the snowy ground out I went to have a look around. As first sight there were a herd of chirus. They were plainly to be spotted because they looked like a clear black straight line in the while snow. I returned to get my camera and then followed them to take some pictures. But they were very much alert and kept a quite long distance from me. I felt they were a group of pregnant females, instinctively protecting themselves from any potential harm. I was no longer short of water, the snow gave me a precious supply of drinking water. The problem was that they were very petrol consuming. I tool 8.6 litre of petrol and the oil stove was Duola's MSR. The pot was of 1.5 litre, mainly for boiling water. After several days' experiments, I found that the liquid water needed 16mins and 14-15mins to boil in the morning and evening, respectively. For ice, it would take 35-40mins while for snow it took 45-50mins. Melting snow was a very time and petrol consuming process so if I had a choice between snow and light alkaline water, most of time I would go with the latter. Lying inside the tent, listening to musics,I smoked a cigarette while gazing at the more and more chirus around me. Because it was very cold I had been wearing my shoes all the time. Now I just put my bare feet under the warm sun for some fresh air. I found three cuts in my hands and one in my sole. The cuts were about 4cm in length, looked terrible but it was actually all right really. Half of my toes were injured by to much walking, quite painful. I fetched my medicine bag and found I only got four patches of plasters, a serious mistake. One of the cuts in my hand had never been cured until I was out of this desolate land so as to feel like this finger would drop from my hand at any time. The others quickly recovered in a few days then new cuts appeared elsewhere. This process occurred periodically. I felt that it was somewhat related to the cold, dry weather and the lack of vitamins. The snow rapidly disappeared, which is unique phenomenon in Chang Tang. Because of the low air humidity and the high radiation from the sun, the snow was evaporating very fast, much quicker than the melting speed. Owing to this, the ground was generally still dry after the snow disappeared. In most cases, it would be only 2/5 left in the afternoon around 2 to 3 o'clock and small patches of ground could be seen. It would be completely all right for walking the next day. On the third day there could be some snow left in somewhere the sunlight hard to reach. So generally it could give you three days of water supply after a heavy snow like this. One of the pannier was broken, the most expensive one from deuter series, supposed to be waterproof. I will come back to it at some point later. 寄 了 过去约好几天过后就亲自跑过去取证3天过后,证顺利出来,四百个大洋也顺利落入了旅行社的囊中由于我实在不喜欢春运期间占用我们祖国归家大军的大巴车位于是乎我在网上找了个拼车前往南宁的柴可夫约好了时间地点,就准备GO GO 说说我为什么选择拼车吧首先的首先,当然跟大多数人一样——省钱!没错!囊中羞涩的我,为了尽可能少的花掉我那红彤彤的毛主席我就选择了陆路前往,在网上看了看,这也证明了我此举是可行滴!反正有时间,怕嘛?!再来看看我粗略的路线,那可真的不是一般的粗略啊其实在去之前,我的行程是安排的好好的,计划要去的地方也不少但是到了越南以后,我又一次体会到了什么是真正意义上的 东兴边境大街,两旁的店铺插满了国旗东兴口岸就在一堆断瓦颓垣中座立着这么一看,还是有点“辉煌的”好歹是座洋房,哇哈哈哈哈哈哈哈上文说的断瓦颓垣,看到了吗,右边的小楼梯上去就是东兴口岸入口处也就是上图的那座小洋房两年多过去了,相信这也该换个新貌了吧至少那对断瓦该清除掉了吧不然也太对不起纳税人的毛主席了关于东兴口岸,关于芒街,我有好多的话想说首先,东兴口岸,让我非常想爆粗想必去过越南的人大概都知道怎么回事儿越南入境处的工作人员是相当的黑大概都是众所周知的事情了在去之前我也略有所闻只是塞钱的程序操作一直没有搞明白第一个窗口是填表的,塞了五块人民币以为就这样就平安大吉殊不知最黑的是接下来的这个窗口当我把护照递过去的时候,那个老头子仔细的翻了翻护照一脸不屑的点着放在他桌子上的《健康证明》我说“不好意思,我忘记带了”他又一次一脸不屑的说“五十块,五十块就让你过去,不然我就把你送回中国去办!你回中国去办要两三百块一本”在经过一番无用的讨价还价以后,我还是得乖乖的给这个死老头五十人民币大概是春节来临,他也需要点钱吧好吧好吧,纵然我心有不甘,但是我实在不想因为这五十块影响了我愉快的旅行心情马上把自己的心情调整的漂漂亮亮的继续背包前行结果,小王八蛋又来了安检的小哥哥招手把我叫了过去旁边的安检机器已经进入偃旗息鼓状态这小哥莫不是要进行人力搜寻?也罢,五块人民币把他打发,也保全了我井然有序的背囊装备然后我就一溜烟的跑了,生怕再跑出个吃钱的越南腐败政府人民穿过这条桥就正式进入越南境内了感觉有点虚虚的,说不上为什么越南越南,这居然就是越南hey,I am coming!哇噻,居然又吐了一句洋气的话还有这个有点像我们六七十年代的墙绘,有点大字报的感觉个人认为右边的那个哥哥有点像毛主席先僧这一出口岸就不得了啦越南的哥,越南摩的哥四面八方的朝你涌过来用你听不懂的叽里呱啦的越南话num num num还用他们的黑黑大爪一直扯你的手让你坐他们的车作为一名参加过篮球队,扔过铁饼,丢过铅球,还飞过枪,四肢有点muscle的女生我岂能就酱紫屈服在那些七手八脚之中抓着我的背包飞也似的跑了我准备走一段,先走一段,摆脱这群热情的芒街的哥,摩的哥然后再找个地方换点越南盾,过把百万富翁的大瘾再找车站,继而把我自己给运到我第一站——下龙湾 去!于是我就走在了芒街的小镇上有点陈旧,有点破烂,类似我们现在落后地区的小镇脏脏的,自行车摩托车满街跑走过一条桥,在越南走的第一条桥不知它尊姓大名,只知卫生程度有待加强但比起城市垃圾,它也算OK了 文章来到这里,不得不写点温馨提示了1. 要备用基本的越南语,即使不会说,也要写在纸上因为越南人民,特别是芒街人民不懂英语,也不懂国语(这点跟攻略上的非常不一样啊)个人认为必备的越南语应该有:汽车站 多少钱 换钱 以及你到车站买票去的那个地方的越南语 等等不然,你去到即使比手划脚也跟鸡同鸭讲差不多我算运气比较好,从口岸打摩的(大概花了人民币五块钱这样,不超过十块)到达汽车站2. 在芒街换越南盾吧,没错的攻略上说的人民币在越南通用,其实不完全正确,通用的地方至少是在我到过的地方来说就是芒街 下龙湾 再往南走别人就不认可人民币了美元还是相当受用的,基本到处都接受,最划算的还是越南盾而且人民币的汇率越往南边走越不划算在芒街换钱还有个小插曲摩的司机好意问我要不要换钱(当然又是比手划脚的),我总觉得他会骗我然后拒绝了他,结果我发现我以小人之心度君子之腹结果我到了汽车站又折回市场换钱换钱的地方很有意思 很过瘾他们把一大摞的钱放在一个小方桌上好像小商贩在销售商品一样最开始我还以为是冥币,后来才晓得是真的货币啊!长见识了!票子!花花绿绿的票子!摩的哥把我送到一个破烂的小车站我跟乘务员说我要去下龙湾她不懂英语,不懂中文,我只好拿出我的简易地图给她看指着地图下龙湾的地方她好不容易的点点头,跟我说了一名叽里呱啦的话我猜大概是要票子吧也不知道要多少钱,我把一堆钱递到她前面让她挑好不容易完成了这个过程就开始了我遥遥无期的候车过程在这之前,我完全不晓得芒街到下龙湾的地方没有高速连柏油公路都没有!!!这是神马该概念!等了大约一个小时,好不容易上了一部老旧的中巴就是我们祖国80年代末90年代初的那种中巴我找了个靠窗的座位旁边一个鸡笼放在了我右边的位置完了,这一路要与鸡同行了车上充满了寒酸味,鸡屎味,鸭子的呱呱声还有越南人民高声讨论的声音那时那刻,我是一个怪物,大家都冲我看车子在启动之后半小时好不容易挤满了人紧接着又在镇上绕了一个多小时典型的旧中国兜客啊!也罢,别无选择,只有这一部车可以坐,而且下一班要等第二天。我可不想在这个语言不通的地方呆一个晚上车子摇摇晃晃的走了一段磕磕碰碰的水泥路颠着颠着就到了一条山路!是真的山路,不是柏油路,尘土飞扬的那种!那一刻,我已经满脸是灰!厚厚的一层!我也不想擦,更加不想关窗!因为坐在我旁边的是鸡笼大妈!!!说说坐我旁边的鸡笼大妈吧鸡笼大妈刚上车的时候还跟旁边的人说说笑笑我想她是想跟我说话的,不过我听不懂然后呢,说着说着她开始沉默了我突然意识到哪里不对劲直觉告诉我,我猜对了!几分钟过后,杯具终于来鸟!她吐了!!!神马概念,吐了!在鸡笼旁边,我的旁边!!吐完她舒服了,居然还把脑袋靠我肩膀上睡着了!!!我再次瞬间石化,继而碎裂!但,我是来自文明城市的文明市民权当做好事了,睡吧,安心的睡吧睡在我打过篮球 飞过枪的臂膀上!也罢,来一张破旧车站前的小景越南初印象在坐车之前没人告诉我芒街到下龙湾的车程需要多久我想,充其量也就四五个小时吧四五个小时后,车子确实停了,不过是司机大哥要吃饭!我也下来了一,呼吸新鲜空气二,远离鸡笼三,我饿了这是开车的阿哥和卖票的妞儿可惜他们都不会说中文也不好说英文人倒是很不错!摇摇晃晃又过了几个小时,车上的乘客也陆陆续续的下车我下午1点多上的车,晚上将近10点才到达下龙湾下车的时候那一个叫惊慌失措也不知道是什么地方,应该是个马路边楼上的那对夫妇就一直冲我喊然后还把车门打开反正我是听不懂的,看着外面乌漆麻黑的,我也不知道神马情况所幸之前车上有一位会讲国语的小妹妹帮我留了个小纸条写的是我要去的地方,我想大概是我的目的地到了果断下车,管他呢!下车以后,因为时间真的太晚了,晚上10点这一次我没选择摩的,选择了一个略懂英语的的士车费砍了半天,应该是砍了一些的吧然后他就把我送去一家小旅馆我相信他应该是跟小旅馆有关系的本来想挑剔下,不过我实在是太累了况且,旅馆的人英语不错,有wifi,有热水,关键是房间干净足矣!价格也算合理!欧了!满足的洗了个热水澡,爬在软绵绵的床上,马上就要睡着了突然想起今天的经历,天啊,如果我每天都要在这车上摇7-8个小时我岂不是疯了,于是马上爬起来订机票我决定了,下龙湾前往河内,用飞的,对,一定要用飞的!我就这么想着想着,就睡着了!第二天一早起来,四处闲逛,今天准备到下龙湾耍去途经小铺!我吃早餐的小铺!吃上了我那久违的正宗云南粉相当美味!春节来临之前,到处都是水仙花越南人民也爱这花早餐过后,准备去找个当地电话卡为了方便,也为了省钱电话卡有个很好听的名字——tomato!我是从家里逃出来的直到那一刻起家人还不知道我跑了是时候打个电话告诉他们我身在何处这年我是不打算在家过了说回下龙湾,下龙湾给我的总体感觉跟桂林差不多,无非就是一些个山山水水,对我来说没有太多的惊喜还是百度一下下,来点专业点的介绍下龙湾,位于北部湾西部,离越南首都河内150公里。1994年,联合国教科文组织将下龙湾作为自然遗产,列入《世界遗产名录》越南语作Vinh 稍事休息,船上的导游就带我们进了一个溶洞跟国内的溶洞没什么大区别无非就是用五颜六色的彩灯装扮一下下溶洞过后,返回住处,时间尚早我又跑到外面溜达了一圈反正去河内的机票订的是第二天的瞎溜达呗那时候的我木有单反,只有一个sony小卡片也够可以的啦,陪着我从米国肥到祖国,再跑到越南大地沙滩上到处都是贝壳,不见螃蟹难道都回家准备过春节去了么?此情此景 此时此刻 若有一瓶tiger 也确实是个不错的选择忽然想起,那天是廿二九,除夕马上要到了我一个人走在异国他乡的沙滩上总得做点什么慰问下家里的父老乡亲吧走累了,我也回去了,又吃了一碗越南粉然后就在旅馆休息了一晚上行李已经打包好,准备明天飞河内一觉醒来,再次越南粉入肚又上了一台中巴,这次情况好多了起码没有家禽和我一起坐车售票员一直把脑袋放在车外招揽顾客这种景象,久违了!([]
