There are many like-minded asking me about it. I now present this thread to briefly tell everybody about my journey.The starting point of this traverse was from the highest peak of the western part of the Tibetan plateau, Jieshan Daban, and the day was April 20, 2010.I was heading eastward passing Bungdag Co, Yanghu Co, Rola Co, and Kangzhagri Mountain, which crossed over the desolate region from west to east. The journey continued northward to enter the unpopulated area of Altun Mountains, through Hoh Xil Mountains, Kunlun Mountains, Whale lake, ..., finally met some people by the Aqqikkol Hu and then arrived in Huatugou by vehicle three days later and that day was July 5. It had been 77 days in total. I had been all alone 74 days after leaving Jieshan Daban until arriving inAqqikkol Hu, which was about 1400km and about four months.[The Great Chang Tang] In Tibetan, "Chang Tang" means northern empty wilderness while narrowly, means unpopulated region in northern part of Tibet. However, it actually indiCATes all of the no man's land in northern. The great Chang Tang includes desolate places in Northern Tibet, Hoh Xil, Alun Mountains, and Kunlun Mountains, which are interconnected to form the unique and super empty wilderness in the world. Only because Hoh Xil is the most known name, most people just think this vast land is equivalent to Hoh Xil. In reality, Hoh Xil is only a small piece of the Great Chang Tang both administratively and geologically. The Great Chang Tang, the last land to chase your freedom and dream.The route that I traversed ForeplayI arrived in Tibet in the early March, a couple of troubles bothered me. The brand new plug got its positive and negative wrongly connected; the rivets of my rucksack eASIly got broken from now and again; and a multi-functional charger got damaged and so on. Riding my bike to Ngari for warming up of this journey, lost my rucksack but later got it back; lost my camera bag and got it back later again, and finally lost a big bicycle pannier in the street of Gyangze town under the eyes of police, including clothes, solar panel and so on.Without much choice, I returned to Lhasa to adjust all the stuff I would need in the wilderness. Then I begged some luck by going to Nyingchi to enjoy the blossoms of peach trees and to take a hot spring bath. I even had the privilege to enjoy time with ten girls in the hot spring. I felt my bad luck had all gone and then returned to Lhasa again to prepare going to Ngari. I did not expect that I was cheated on by some hustler and lost some money and delayed my schedule for a week. I had to find a car myself quickly to Nagri. However, I lost the tool for fast-parting my rear wheel on my way to Nagri, where was a remote area in Tibet and nowhere to buy the tool. Even if there was one in Lhasa it would take at least ten days for a special delivery service. I was lucky that my mate Duola asked a driver to bring the tool for me from Lhasa. I thought there should be no more nightmare like this but the nozzle of my brand new multi-fuel stove was broken. The next day I tried everywhere to weld them back together. The first three shops could not do the welding for copper. The fourth one said they could do it but could not guarantee a sUCCess. The engineer said it would be ten Chinese yuans if it was a success. I agreed. Just in seconds, my nozzle became crap in a flash of lightening. I was so upset. Again, Duola helped me by bringing her own MSR oil stove and Dingding's sleeping bag to Nagri. That was already April 16 and I did not have much time to waste. The following day I found a vehicle heading to Jieshan Daban.The sand storm over Yarlung Zangbo RiverA lonely peach tree blossoming in Yarlung Zangbo Grand CanyonNatural hot spring in wild, me singing and drinking (photo by a friend of mine) Day 1(April 20), 16km, Camping 5192mIt was a truck with a full load of iron wastes, arriving in Jieshan Daban at 6'o clock in the morning. It was still night and extremely cold and dark. Driver was not bothered to pop his head out of the driving cab. I climbed up on the top of the iron wastes, taking my bicycle down. In a hurry, I punched my old water bag. Fortunately I had another MSR water bag given by a friend of mine otherwise I would definitely fail without even starting my journey. For the first time for me to set up the brand new tent in strong, cold winds. It would be impossible to do so if the tent was not a whole piece. Extremely cold outside, about -15C, might be lower than that, I put my head into the sleeping bag but was nearly suffocated to death, honestly. The smell of Dingding's sleeping bag was, lol, so extraordinary. I woke up around 11 o'clock. There were still strong winds outside so that I had to use my bodyweight to keep the tent in place. At the time when I just started to cook and eat, four patrolling soldiers approached me. To their surprise someone, in this season, camped in Jieshan Daban. I was so nervous and afraid they were the people to block my journey because I was caught and deported from the desolate land last year. Luckily the four soldiers did not know my destination and were very kind to me. After they left, I immediately packed my stuff and pushed my bike into the depths of the unpopulated area just in case anything unexpected happened.The bike was very heavy due to the provisions and hard to control. There was even a quite small hill that I had to remove my bike panniers to get over it. This really struck me because this happened even the path was still the hardship one at the moment and I could not imagine what I would do once I entered the uncertain, endless wilderness. Until now I had not met anyone, even the nomadic pastoralists. I remembered there were quite a few of them roaming at the edge of the northern Tibetan plateau last year. All of these indicated it was not the good pasture season in such low temperature and strong winds. Around 16km there was a sheep cote, where I passed it last year, east of Lungmu Co. I was exhausted at this point so that I decided to camp in here and to rest my head. After arranging tent everything I went out to look for the wetland discovered by Duola and Liumeng last year. I was determined to find it.There were many hot springs in the wetland which were underground water with a constant temperature. The wetland therefore became an ideal habitat for some fishes and weeds under such harsh weather, which was the very unique land feature of terrain in this over 5200m highland.Perpetual snow in the valley blown to corn shape by strong windsThis wetland was discovered by Duola and Liumeng. The next day rather than continuing to travel, I stayed inside the sheep cote, hesitating and pondering over. Indeed, there were so many problems before this journey;I did not have sufficient physical preparation;the load had already reached its limitation; I still coughed a lot;the weather was so extreme and cold. All in all, I did not think this journey was well prepared and I did not have confidence in completing this journey mentally and physically. To do, or not to do, it was the question. Similarly I did not have confidence in my facilities, not knowing whether all of them would work functionally or not. The fact was one of the rivets got broken again and the front rack came loose. In the afternoon, I replaced all the rivets of the panniers with screws I had prepared before. This was an excellent job I had done which gave me no further troubles throughout my whole journey. I also re-adjusted the front rack. However I did not think it would definitely all right because I did not have a tool to do it. When the darkness descended,I made up my mind to continue my journey, which, of course, was not beyond any imagination. Orchid-like weedsSmall springs everywhere, clear and chillyA thin layer of ice covering the fresh spring water The sheep cote, it was the door under the sleeping bag, which was in the same place as last year, everything looked like yesterdayThe wetland at duskLungmu Co at dusk. You could hear the gigantic sound of wind if the picture had a sound Day 3 (April 22), 52.4km, Camping 5145mGot up in the morning, could not put everything into the bags. Without much choice I had to throw away three portions of tsampa, elbow pads, and crampons. Following the road of the lead-zinicmine I found the side path to enter the wilderness, which was on the riverbed and very hard to see. I missed this side path last year so that I had to take a short cut into the wilderness directly then. That was why I had taken extra care to find the side path. The following journey was to get over a big hill, which lay 5275m above sea level and was the highest point of my whole journey. Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, I passed the side path leading to Orba Co and started a journey which was complete strange to me. I ate a piece of pilot breads, which was frozen like rocks so that I had to use my spade to crush it. At 6 o'clock in the evening, I had pushed plus rode my bicycle for about 32 km. I reckoned I should have been able to double this if I did no carry such heavy load. The wind became stronger and stronger. I opened the parasail kits and tested it. The result was far beyond what I expected. With the aid of the strong wind I was just like flying over the wilderness. After 8 o'clock in the evening, I started to observe the water Source and to get ready to camp. Map showed there were successive springs along the path and assembled to puddles. But I had overestimated the water source here in this land and in this season there were endless wilderness inside the valley, where I could not see a single drop of water. As it became darker and darker, I felt a little bit nervous which resulted in three spokes of the parasail broken and became a useless rubbish. Anyway, it helped me to move forward 20km more which benefited me a lot later on. When time approached 9.30 pm, it was almost completely dark. I had to lie my bike on the ground and went on to try to find water on the north side of the valley. This was a wide and flat sandy land, where I could not see any ditches there and further was complete darkness. I returned to get my GPS to look up the contours and found the south part of the valley was closer to a hill so I took the way. Finally I found a piece of ice in a ditch. I smashed about 20litre of ice. The ice was quite shallow scattered with sheep poo. On my way back, my eyes were hurt by strong winds, which got me a couple of days to recover. It was nearly 23 o'clock after I set up the tent. It also took about 40 mins to melt the ice. I was so tired and my appetite was completely spoiled. I then had a little bit of milk. I had never expected thing would go like this, it was so distressing. Streams along the path, ice everywhereThe river flew into Matou Hu, in whose north part there was a satellite lake, a wonderful ice-skating court It took 40mins to melt the ice in midnight Day 4 (April 23), 31km, Camping 5028mA cloudy day with gusts. From now and again, hails chased me from behind. Sunny spell. Heavy sandy land made me have to push my bike. At 3pm, I arrived at Luxing Hu, where there was a house made of clay. This was the last permanent building of my journey. Last year, Duola and Liumeng once lived in this house for three days without meeting anybody. It seemed it was the same but the truck parking in front of the house made me worry about. I went to the sheep cote first to check over, where there were only a few lambs following me everywhere I went later on. This made me feel warm in my heart. I observed farther places using my binoculars but could not see any people or sheeps. After making sure there were no people around I opened the locked door using a screwdriver. The living room was very clean. There were two boxes of beverages on the ground and a string of cured lamb legs hanging over in the interior room. A pot of water was on the top of the stove, lukewarm, which indicated the host must be not far away from his home. I filled up my water bag and left the house. I also put the screws back to the door in order not to leave any trace of my visiting. I then took a spanner from the toolbox of the truck, which gave me great help for the rest of the journey.I left the house as quickly as possible. After last year's experience, the nomadic pastoralists were the last people I wanted to meet. A few hundred meters away from the house, the vehicle traces were fading fast. Even downhill, I had to push rather than to ride because of the heavy loose sand. From the route point of view, only after Luxing Hu it was the real unpopulated land. After many days, I thought of the lamb legs from time to time. It was pity that I then had plenty of provisions and the bike was too heavy to carry anything more. Continue to melt the ice under the morning sunshine, all of the sheep poo had been removed carefullyCamping site, the little hill over there was the place where I got the ice last nightThe house by the Luxing Hu, empty, the last permanent building I saw throughout my journeyDay 5 (April 24), 19.8km, Camping 4951mSet off at 10.30 in the morning, the weather was similar to yesterday. Probably this road was the high plain or somewhere the wind passed so that it was so windy. The average wind speed was degree 6 but could reach degree 9 in the blick of an eye. The road was still full of sand and very heavy to walk on it. My eyes became worse under such harsh weather. About three o'clock in the afternoon, I saw something in my right, looked like antenna. I went closer to see what it was and found out it was an iron tower (the triangulation station). In 1970s, a joint team from Chinese three military regiments entered this area doing research. They have left a lot of triangulation stations and benchmarks, which I had the priviledge to see them today.At dusk, I approached to a spring by the Bungdag Co, which flew into the frozon lake. The sand and soil, brought by the strong wind, scattered on the surface of the ice all over the lake. There were so many cracks around the icey surface of the lake. I geussed it must be caused by the springs under the water rather than by melted ice. In the west of the Bungdag Co was the side path leading to Keriya Pass, where a SUV could reach directly. I had looked out any vehicle Tracks but failed. The cloudy sky started to snow. I set up the tent comfortably because I knew that I was safe having such a sweet spring beside me.Triangulation station erected by scientists from the joint research team on Chang Tang of three military regiments in 1971[size=+0]The gap between water and ice in Bungdag Co, I guessed there must be some springs under the lakeThe storm just above the ground, a chaotic darkness[size=+0]Icy Bungdag Co,one of the four biggest lakes in Northern Tibet, wild ducks flying over this vastness and lonenessSnowing at any time, should not happen so frequently like this in this seasonDay 6 (April 25), 4.3km, Camping 5002mWeathering landforms everywhere around this area. Spongy volcanic rocks could be found easily. I pushed my bike turning around a small hill, seeing a big river, the Yinshui He, flowing from Orba Co into Bungdag Co, which I had been to its upstream last year. It was also a passage for animal migration. The downstream of the river was extremely wide and broad. The thickess of the ice layer could reach one meter with the main stem in the middle course of the river, very deep. There were a few springs along the river, sweet and clear.I only went forward a little bit more than 4km but I had walked more than 20km for finding my way. It was not possible to cross the main stem, let alone the north bank of Bungdad Co. What I could only do was to try to find a shallow place to cross. But the southern area was a even larger piece of wetland and forced the road turn towards west. I spent a couple of hours but failed to find a good point to cross the river. In the afternoon, I decided to follow the edge of the wetland. When I reached the hill foot, the wetland finally disappeared. Around this area, there were clearly volcanic feature of terrain and I even found traces of pasturing and cairns made from volcanic rock.Here was the last pasturing trace I found throughout my journey, I guessed it was a summer pasture area. After this, there was no clear sign of human activities in this vast wilderness. I had been looking for my ways until it was dark. I made up my mind where to go TOMOrrow. The terrain here looked like Yardang landforms, as well as volcanic landforms The Yinshui He river from Orba CoSprings scattered all over the river bank, painted green by lovely algaeThe river was very deep. The mixture of green and amber colour showed the sand and mud carried by the melted iceThick layer of ice, sunken surface caused by strong gustsThe south course of the Yinshui He, countless small streams. To the right was the wetlandLooking for ways in the east, a trace of pasturing and the cairn made from spongy volcanic rocksMy camp, opposite to the hillDay 7 (April 26), 11km, Camping 5009mI moved forward to the direction I found yesterday, turning around the wetland and walking toward east. At 2pm, I was blocked by the zigzag Yinshui He again and I had no choice but to cross it. The river was about 700m wide, covered by ice which appeared very different. The hanging ice, the folding ice, the piling-up ice, the icy puddle, and the sleet were everywhere along the river bank. Having noticed all of these, I reckoned the river would be receding at dusk, which was why there were so many different shapes and forms of ice. I put my slipper on, going into the main stream of the river. I found there were at least three different courses of the river, the thickness of the surface ice varied and the river water reached above my knees. I sighed there would be no way back once I crossed this river. There are many ways in one's life too, you can only take it once and you will no long have the courage to repeat it.I pushed the bike crossing the river. Some of the ice was a bit soft, jamming the tyres so that I had to use my feet to break them first. Some of the ice was a bit thick but with half-melted underneath, sticking the the bike completely, some of the ice was half-water half-ice with a sandy riverbed, which was really hard to pass. I had to remove all of the panniers at the last stage of the crossing. I spent the whole four hours to cross the river, my legs got many bloody cuts. At 6pm, the surface ice was almost disappeared completely, the river level rapidly rising to a chaotic status. I thought if I hesitated a little bit at that time, I could not have the courage to cross this river under such circumstances. The river bank was unimaginably sandy and was quite steep. I had to unloaded the panniers again to reach the top of the bank. By the time of sunset, the weather became exceptionally good. The sunlight from the descending sun, the blue sky, the faint moon, .... I liked such a colorful and peaceful Chang Tang and very much enjoyed my camp and myself bathed in such beautiful colour.The ice like this was very thin and suspended, far away from the main stemHard surface with half-melted underneath, the soft sand at the botton was most scaryThe ice like this could easily jam the wheels, hard to get it outI had to unload the panniersChaotic water and terrible hails turned up in no timeThe Chang Tang at the moment liked it used to be,a mixture of cold and warm tones under the golden setting sun Day 8 (April 27), 14.6km, Camping 5112mLast night, I forgot to bring in the odometer, which was out of order due to the coldness in midnight. Since then I used GPS to check the mileage. The digital thermometer was no longer working. I had to use mercury thermometer to collect data. Night temperatures were basically between –15℃—–20℃ while the temperature inside my tent was about –10℃. The advantage of the integrated tent was that it limited the ventilation so to keep warm inside. However, it got clearly disadvantage of heavy condensation and dew. Every morning, there was plenty of frost inside the tent so that I had to put my hood on First Before fully getting dressed. The winds in Chang Tang finally became consistent with the pattern I had researched the other day no or very tiny wind in the morning, strong wind started after 2pm, and then at around 8pm its strength was reduced again. The accuracy of this prediction was about 80%.The road was very bad today. I walked whole afternoon in an ancient riverbed and it was so difficult that I had to use all of my strengths to move a small step forward and then to stop to breath, slower than a snail. After five hours' struggling, my eyes got wet when I saw the grassy river bank. Finally! The nightmare was over.Cold and clear morningHeavy morning condensation in the interior, a lot of frost to clearSuch dawning sunlight indicated a cloudy day ahead Day 9 (April 28), 18km, 5072mIn the morning I entered a range of sandy roads which were so terrible. The solar panel specially designed for GPS got short circuited. After checking it was found to be the diode got damaged. Luckily I got a replacement. Because the GPS was exclusively supplied by a solar panel so that it was no longer a problem for the power supplement of GPS. In a period of 70 days, I did replace the battery once, which saved me a lot of alkaline batteries. I did have another solar panel of 5.4 W which was used specifically for 7.5V Camera, DV and other digital facilities. Unlike water, I had never been short of power.At 7pm in the evening, I arrived at Pur Co. The surface of this lake was very odd the ice by the river bank rose and the river bank was broken, I reckoned that was due to the strong winds. The ice there was mingled with something yellow, could be the stain of alkali. There were many wild yaks on the other side of the lake. There could be two brown bears but I could not be for certain. On the east side of the lake, there was a peninsula leading to the centre of the lake. I camped just opposite to the peninsula. At night , I smashed the ice to get drinking water, which tasted alkali. For the first time I cooked the cereals, which was brought completely by accident. This was just because I found there was a little bit of extra space when I was in Nagri packing the stuff for this journey so that I bought two packs of cereals. It tasted disgusting, probably there was too much alkali in the water. I threw away half of it. Later I realised that probably I subconsciously felt that the provisions was so heavy. I would rather make it lighter at any cost.Dry all my stuff in the morning sun, a routine matterA faint dusk in Pur CoThe river bank pushed up by ice and opened like zipper by gustsThe pushed up surface of the iceThe place where I got my drinking water, a thin layer of ice behind the ablation corns The moment just before sun set, glittering Pur Co, nothing was the same差点儿没找到俺自己的帖子,原来变色了。多谢各位鼓励。 Day 10 (April 29), 16km, Camping 5141mIn the morning, I walked around the north bank of the Pur Co, where it were continuous ups and downs sprinkled with light yellow sprouts across the sparse grassland. The wild yaks clustered into small groups. All of a sudden, there was a group of five of them running towards me, blowing a huge cloud of dust with the power of thunderbolts,I believed that anyone who did not know the characters of the wild yaks must be frightened to death under such circumstances. The fact was the wild yaks in groups never injured people. Rushing to you just to show you its territory. When they approached people at certain distance, they would turn sharply and run away, and then stopped somewhere high to stare at you. You can not imagine that the wild yaks were very cautious animals compared with its almost one ton of weight. Their first reaction, when meeting people, was to raise their tails, the front hooves rubbing against the ground, the horns pointing forward, the eyes redden, and the long body hair shaking, all of which showed their determination to fight.This was the warning sign that you should retreat. However, you should realise that this was only a gesture that they were afraid of you and wanted to scare you away. The thing was that if you were not afraid of them and moved forward, they would run away in no time. There were only some mad yaks attacking people, which was really rare to happen. In Chang Tang, an experienced driver know that it is very dangerous to pass directly from two or three lonely wild yaks. They always tried to avoid confronting them directly. If this was not possible, they would lit a cigarette, smoking, to wait until the yaks walked away themselves. This was because the wild yaks really could attack vehicles, which was not completely rumors. I once asked them why I had not been attacked. They told me that because my bike was so small they would not be bothered to attack it. My own experience was that approaching a wild yak very slowly, do not look into its eyes, and ignored what it was doing. As long as it moved forward a little bit, just stop and give the yaks a little bit of time to think. Because if you forced the yak, it could be themost dangerous animal in the world and nothing could stop them killing. Even a gunshot could not kill it but only left a small hole in its skin. In the past, the nomads living near this land would use yaks' skin as chopping board which was very much endurable. At noon, I lost my balacLAVA, which was brand new and I had never used it once. I could not be bothered to go back tofind it. This resulted in that I had to have my fleece hat day and night in the rest of my journey, which did not provide fully protection from the sun in the plateau. But somehow I was all right, perhaps because my skin is similar to those of yaks, lol. At around half past one, I found a deserted Jeep, upside down. I felt it could be there for years and it could be the vehicle of someillegal HUNTERs. Nowadays, we have wildlife conservation reserves in Chang Tang and the animals here are well protected. However, some people kills the wild yaks to sell them as the domestic yak's meat. In general, it is worth 10,000 Chinese yuans for a single wild yak. Therefore many people take the risk to make money. They often enter the unpopulated areas to hunt and their activities can reach 200 km in diameter. This is why the wild yaks in the deep wilderness are less afraid of people than thoseat the boundaries of the Chang Tang region.There once happened that a wild yak mother revenged its baby's murder in the Altun mountains. Its horns pierced the killer's chest and held his body over its head for more than ten days, which was very touching.Around 3pm, I walked out of the Pur basin. The next point was Hong Shan Daban and then it was the Yueya Hu by the Toze Gangri. At this time I found a vehicle track from south to north. I checked over but could not find the way where they had gone. I took my map, GPS, and compass, climbing up a small hill to estimate the location of Hong Shan Daban. The mountain was very round and it was hard to find the mountain pass. After determining the location of the Daban, I moved straightforward. When I passed a messy grassland, I saw something that I was reluctant to see more than hundreds of wild yaks' head scattered all over, which was definitely the scene of the illegal hunting. After that it was a very long ancient river bed with soft sand slowly rising until the foot of the mountain.There are some spines on the surface of the tongues of wild yaks, which are used by nomads in this area as combs. They use them from their teens to the time when their hair becomes silver.The deserted Jeep, could be left by illegal hunters years agoThe slaughtered wild yaks with the wheel size heads. Some of the skulls were chopped into half. Why was that? Could be taken away for making combs?My camp at the foot of the Daban underthe lingering golden rays of the setting sun. Tomorrow's weather must be wonderful, I reckoned Day 11(April 30), 20.4km, Camping 5120mThe surface of the road leading to Hong Shan Daban was very hard, most of them were small rocks, sort of gravels, plus a quite long downhill slope, I pushed my bike more than 20km for the first time after Luxing Hu. The mountain pass was quite flat, just like a broad ridge, it was 5256m above the sea level. Upon arriving at the pass, Toze Gangri of 6356m was in my sight clearly, very much round and there was no back bone like normal snow covered mountains. Most of the snow mountains in Chang Tang looked like this probably it was due to the geological movements. There were quite a few chirus or Tibetan antelopes in the valley but I was not interested in this kind of animals anymore after I witnessed a large scale of migration of such animals last year elsewhere.The herbivorous animals here are very quick to reach its original size of the population, such as wild yaks, chirus, Tibetan gazelle, pika, and marmot. When you go into the depths of the Chang Tang, you could hardly be surpised by the sudden appearance of the chirus because they are so common in here. At this time of year, the chirus have already male-female parted. You could see many pregnant female chirus but hardly see any males. According to recent research, Zonag Co is not the only lake for breeding. There are at least four of them in the whole Chang Tang. Zonag Co, Tuzi Hu, Heishi Beihu, and another lake I can not remember. I think there must be more than four of them and most of the populations do not migrant long way like most people used to think. They generally migrant from south to north between Central Mountains and Kunlun Mountains.The chirus looks very timid but are very curious about outside world. They are not really afraid of people, particularly in the depth of the Chang Tang. The nearest distance we can approach is about 30m. They just stare at you calmly and think who you are and why you move so slow. They would run in front of you. Look like they are afraid of you but the fact is they are playing with you. A man's own character shapes his fortune. This is of course suit for animals too. The chirus are the typical one. They have a super speed and a pair of sharp antlers. If they are crazy, three of them work together could easily kill a wolf. But as you might have known, their antlers are just for fighting to mate with females.Down the Daban there was a very steep and straight road, I tried to ride the bicycle but ended up with falling over. The front rack came loose and one of the pannier flew into valley. The foot of the mountain was the Yueya Hu covered by ice, which was alake full of heavy metal elements. Along the lake bank there were many stark rocks very much weathered, lining up just like castles or houses. This made me stop to investigate what they were from time to time, I did understand they were just rocks though but they were so real like the figures of real people. On of them even made me hide in a ditch, observing them again and again using my binoculars. There were also many black volcanic rocks. All in all, the features of this area were really unusual.Passed over the Yueya Hu, it was an endless ancient lake bed. What my GPS showed was this area was a big lake like tentacles. I looked around, it was endless wilderness without a piece of ice and a drop of water. Roughly, I estimated this lake bed was about 1200 square meters. I had to tell you that Chang Tang was a place where there was no high-resolution map. The marks in the map often were some kind of memory. Just like this ancient lake bed under my feet, may be it was full of water a few years ago. Who knows. Pushing the bike in such an endless lake bed was very easy to get lost. About wildlife (part 1)Declaration Personal experience for reference onlyDangerous wild animals and their threats to human beings are a ever-LASTING subject for those backpackers travelling in the wild.In Chang Tang, for example, there are two kinds of deadly animals, one is wolves and the other is brawn bears. As substitutes, wild yaks and crows might be dangerous to you in some circumstances that I will come back to this a little bit later on. As for how to protect yourself against these dangerous animals, I think the primary point is you do not try to hurt them because the emotions of human and animals are same instinctively. [Wolves]Throughout my journey, I met wolves a total of seven times, in which I confronted them five times. As you might have known that wolves have become more and more solitary animals, it is very rare they live in a large group nowadays. Please allow me off the point a little bit and talk about the ecological problems in Chang Tang. The problem is now not the decrease of the number of the chirus but the imbalance of the whole food chain, more specifically, the number of the animals on the higher trophic levels of the food chain has not yet reached its ideal level which results in this kind of imbalance. Particularly, the pikas and the marmots who have lost their predators rapidly expanse which results in the desertification of Chang Tang. As early as the middle of last century, wolves were the dominant predators in the vast wilderness. They became a threat not only to other preys but also nomads pasturing in this land. Therefore, the then government called on people to cull back the population of the wolves in Chang Tang, which resulted in the current situation directly. The last official record about wolves attacking humans was around 1970s, which happened in Bamaoqiongzong. A team of secientists was surrounded by a group of wolves and they had to shoot them using guns. Of course, at present in Chang Tang, wolves are absolutely lonely.In this traverse, the first time I encountered a pair of wolves, one of them staying in front of me pretending to attack me while the other staying behind me. This is the standard attacking strategy of wolves. First, you should not be nervous which can be easily detected by the predators. Second, you should not retreat even an inch because this means you are the prey rather than the predator. Do not make any large movement, of course you could take a picture if you feel safe to do so. You must look into its eyes for a few minutes or even half an hour. When the wolves can not work out who you are and consider you are not posing any danger to them, then they will leave. You should remember that wolves in this land do not lack of food and it is much easy for them to catch a pika than a human. Even if being hungry, they would evaluate how easy to get you done, What you need to do is to show them that you are not interested in them and you are not afraid of them at all, let alone to show your ID card to them. As for the wolves family, really, I have not heard for ages. If you really have an encounter with them and they have no other choice, then it definitely depends on your forture. In fact, for so many year, it has been very rare to happen that wolves kill human. But the rumours are still there, in particular, the road connecting Xinjiang and Tibet.The nearest encounter with a wolf throughout my journey, no conflict at all[Brown Bears]Brown bears are real dangerous animals to human. Every year there are some accidents happened in some regions of Xinjiang on the north side of Kunkun Mountains and steppes in Northern Tibet. More than that the bears could attack your house, smash your windows, and eat your sheep. Therefore, in Northern Tibet some local councils give subsidies to the pastorarists for compensating the losses due to the bears because they are not allow to fight back and kill the bears except their lives are in great danger. Once there was a nomad taught me a method to protect yourself from bears. He told me to pick up a stick to feed the bear and the bear thinks the stick is your hand which tastes disgusting. So the bear would leave. It was so funny but the reality is to find a stick in this vast wilderness is just like you win the lottery.Bears are omonivorous animal who are generally not interested in human flesh. You can find that in most of accidents, the bears did not eat any of the human flesh rather they just smashed them for kind of fun that we could not understand. For the reason why bears kill human, one explanation is the conflict between human and wildlife in this extreme ecological environment. The nomads invade the habitats of the bears, which results in these conflicts. On the other hand, it might be because bears have quite high IQ so that they think it is much easy to kill a sheep in the cote rather than to kill a pika in the wild.I have met bears five times in my traverse, in two cases we were very close to each other. I had even walked with one of them for quite a while, just like we had a date for a walk. The fact is it is not that terrible like you might imagine. The same rules for dealing with wolves apply to bears. Never provoke dangerous animals. A bear can run at a speed of 40km/h, do you think you can compete this in a highland 5,000m above sea level?However, there is a situation where it is really dangerous, that is the encounter. It is not easy to control your instinctive reaction to the external dangers. Last year once I turned around a hill, there was a bear just in front of me. The bear of course was frightened by me with its front legs holding up, waving in the air and roaring. At that time I sat on the ground, ignoring it. The bear then left in a few minutes. Chang Tang is a vast land so that this is not that easy to happen. But if it does happen, really only God can bless you.The nearest encounter with a bear throughout my journey. I will no longer talk about it.This was the funniest encounter with a solitary wild yak, who did not warn me. If I sat down, it sat down too. If I moved forward, it stopped. Could not imagine what it was thinking about.[Crows]Crows are dangerous only when you fall unconscious in the wilderness. Of course they will be the first to taste your flesh in that case. Unlike their cousinsliving in urban areas, the crows in Chang Tang have a larger body like eagles. When they fly over your head, you could feel like it is a piece of cloud. They are scavengers but like fresh meat too. It once happened that a baby was killed by crows relentlessly, let alone the lambs got killed by them. Once a nomad asked me for fireworks to scare the crows away. (They are sacred birds not to be killed by human)It is easy to defend yourself against crows, that is to keep fighting, never fall in the wilderness.A short break attracted the crows. Of course, they were miscalculating this time, photo taken last year[Strategies Adopted]At the time when I met the four soldiers in Jieshan Daban, they said there were many dangerous animals in the Northern Tibet and asked me if I had brought a shotgun. I think if they knew that I would enter Chang Tang they would definitely check if I really have a shotgun. The so-called defence facilities I brought with me were the fireworks and pepper spray. I had never used them. The fireworks were ruined and thrown away when I crossed a river and I had never opened the pepper spray. I even had never thought about this when camping in the night. The reason was I did not feel the needs. During the day time whenever I met any animals I had never touched the knife I had brought. I did not have anything to defend myself when I walked out to investigate the route. The Chang Tang is really a vast area so as to be very easy to detect anything strange.By the way, you'd better to avoid mating season's animals because even tamed rabbits could be aggressive in mating season.The thing is even if you have a gun, it is not very much helpful when bears attack you. Therefore, your attitude is most important.I can tell you something. Dogs are more dangerous than these wild animals. I had been chased by Tibetan dogs, pounced on by dogs in mating season, also besieged by a group of dogs. I really feel it is more useful to know how to defend a dog.Declaration again The above experience is from Chang Tang only. Of course, the more you prepared, the better. Day 12 (May 1), 23.8km, Camping 5117mToday was May 1 -- the Labour Day, I had been walking in some lake area marked in the map but clearly dried up. The lake basin was flat and hard so that I even pushed my bike more than 20km. Let it be the special treat for my May Day. After midday it became cloudy with growing winds. Since the Yueya Hu that I passed yesterday, there were no big lakes until Yanghu Co (My route would be between Jianshui Hu and Bairab Co), there was even no light alkaline water to drink so I had to pay extra attention not to miss any possible drinking water supply to fill up my water bag. There were a few very small lakes but all were alkaline puddles which was very shallow, whose depth was no more than the length of a half-finger. These puddles were covered with a hard shell of the mixture of salt and ice which smelled stinking and decaying when getting closer, must be toxic water I supposed. On the shore of this type of small lakes it was muddy soil and very hard to get closer.There was no sign of tundra at all.It was almost half past six when I found some snow corns in a ditch, which was the only drinking water supply of the day. There was a thin layer of melted ice on the surface of the ground near the snow corn, which was very hard to collect and was contaminated by the alkali. The snow corn was the yet melted thick snow, which was shaped like a corn by wind. The snow was quite hard and dry,porous like ice. I crushed a few snow corns, putting them into the water bag.They would be my drinking water tonight. These snow corns were the only one in today's wilderness, I reckoned the reason why they were not melted like others was the soil underneath contained large amount of ice blocks which acted as a freezer.Very strong gale in the night, it was hard to bear the sound of the vibration of the tent. Small single tent was good in the sense that it would not be blown away as long as you stayed inside. But you had to be very careful to set up the tent. I once did not pay much attention when doing so, the tent was blown away by winds, and rolling over like a Giant lantern ... I ran after it, got it back, and was exhausted. In general, it is not possible to fix the tent completely using tent pegs because they were not very much effective like large tents. It was snowing around 23 o'clock, the winds were howling from north,then the falling snow flakes landed on my tent quietly, I finally felt at peace and fell asleep. The flat ancient lake basin, assisting me walking more than 20kmSmall lake en route, toxic waterSnow corns, the only drinking water supply today Day 13 (May 2), 0km, Camping 5117mWaking up in the morning and opening the tent, the heavy snow outside must be sent by the God to force me have a break for the May Day. After lying in for a while, getting up and walking on the snowy ground out I went to have a look around. As first sight there were a herd of chirus. They were plainly to be spotted because they looked like a clear black straight line in the while snow. I returned to get my camera and then followed them to take some pictures. But they were very much alert and kept a quite long distance from me. I felt they were a group of pregnant females, instinctively protecting themselves from any potential harm. I was no longer short of water, the snow gave me a precious supply of drinking water. The problem was that they were very petrol consuming. I tool 8.6 litre of petrol and the oil stove was Duola's MSR. The pot was of 1.5 litre, mainly for boiling water. After several days' experiments, I found that the liquid water needed 16mins and 14-15mins to boil in the morning and evening, respectively. For ice, it would take 35-40mins while for snow it took 45-50mins. Melting snow was a very time and petrol consuming process so if I had a choice between snow and light alkaline water, most of time I would go with the latter. Lying inside the tent, listening to musics,I smoked a cigarette while gazing at the more and more chirus around me. Because it was very cold I had been wearing my shoes all the time. Now I just put my bare feet under the warm sun for some fresh air. I found three cuts in my hands and one in my sole. The cuts were about 4cm in length, looked terrible but it was actually all right really. Half of my toes were injured by to much walking, quite painful. I fetched my medicine bag and found I only got four patches of plasters, a serious mistake. One of the cuts in my hand had never been cured until I was out of this desolate land so as to feel like this finger would drop from my hand at any time. The others quickly recovered in a few days then new cuts appeared elsewhere. This process occurred periodically. I felt that it was somewhat related to the cold, dry weather and the lack of vitamins. The snow rapidly disappeared, which is unique phenomenon in Chang Tang. Because of the low air humidity and the high radiation from the sun, the snow was evaporating very fast, much quicker than the melting speed. Owing to this, the ground was generally still dry after the snow disappeared. In most cases, it would be only 2/5 left in the afternoon around 2 to 3 o'clock and small patches of ground could be seen. It would be completely all right for walking the next day. On the third day there could be some snow left in somewhere the sunlight hard to reach. So generally it could give you three days of water supply after a heavy snow like this. One of the pannier was broken, the most expensive one from deuter series, supposed to be waterproof. I will come back to it at some point later. 说实话,不去墨脱想去感受一下;而进了墨脱却只有一条路选择:朝前走。其他的即使你再奢望那也是空想。你到那时候没有退路,任何想退却的愿望只能是想想而已。 说实话,进墨脱是对自己的挑战,尤其是你想自己背包进去的话,就更是一种挑战。对于几乎没时间锻炼的人士来说,要么别去要么请背夫,就这两个选择。 说实话,墨脱已经通路了,札墨公路从波密一直通到墨脱县城,还以为这里是中国最后一个没有通公路的县城的人们请更正这个想法。但路况是非常之差这是实话,我觉得是我走过的最难走的公路,可以上下左右把你颠个佩服,要是会晕车的也想清楚再去。 说实话,墨脱的景色是绝佳的,但却没有变化性,就是一派的原始雨林的感觉,走路4天依旧是差不多同样的景色,连路上做生意的四川人都疑惑说:“里面有什么好看的啊?” 说实话,去墨脱是对自己毅力的巨大挑战,你走了你会更平和会对工作和生活更有忍耐力,是自己人生的一个提高。 1.香格里拉 进多了藏区,就对藏区的建筑或是风景几乎都会产生很大的免疫力。路上小鱼就说中甸的草甸好像没有郎木寺那边的那么有气势,只是小小的一块,而不是像甘南的那样远远的都望不到边际。 从昆明做高快去中甸,从早上一直坐到了晚上,短短的13个小时,回想一下,在这次的旅途中真算是最好消磨的路程了。 到了中甸,联系了小草,阿飞和阿科,他们早我们到了几小时,在香格里拉青旅已经住下了。 当晚,几个人又对此次旅途进行了更深入的探讨和交流。但我们的领头人toby大哥还在路上,又只好等待了一夜。[ ]昆明到香格里拉的高快车好像每天只有1趟,从昆明西客运站发车,8点半发车,要13个小时才到香格里拉。香格里拉有两个青旅,一个在老城区一个在新城区,这次我们去的是新城区这个。此外还有非常有名的活佛之家等好几家老外喜欢的旅店。活佛专家竟然就在松寺旁边是大大出乎我的意料的。香格里拉青旅好像开的时间还不长,房间里面看起来都是新新的,但就是入住的人太少,不知道是位置的关系还是其他的什么原因。[ ]从中甸市区去云南最大的藏传佛教寺院松赞林寺倒是很方便,在路上看见市区走着的2路公交车上去就可以了,但你一定要打扮的很普通,不能让人知道你是来旅游的,否则司机师傅会在松寺的山门出叫你买票,35块呐,还是蛮多的一笔银子。在中甸也只有松寺可以去逛逛,其他的像的碧塔海之类的景区就看你是否喜欢了,我个人觉得倒是没有多大的意思。但是,松寺被叫做“小布达拉宫”,但看过布达拉宫你也就觉得这寺庙真是小得可怜了。格鲁派六大寺哪个都比松寺大好多倍,但对于云南最大的格鲁派寺庙这也很不容易了。去了松寺要看准时间,要是9点到11点才到寺庙里面,就几乎都是人了,你照相就只能看到人头,我和小鱼就一直先四处逛,逛到几乎没游客了才拿出相机来一通猛照。松赞林寺我个人认为这是松赞林寺里面最漂亮的小院[ ]松寺景色![ ]其实早早的去松赞林寺只是和小鱼一起打发无聊的时间的,那么松寺的景色也就随便照了一些,但回来发现其实无论哪个景点只要用心去发现都会有绝佳的PP的,比如在松寺你就没有必要随着什么旅游团一起走,企图混听什么解说。这样你倒反被限制住了,再说这些佛像壁画无非是宗喀巴大师啊,贾珠杰,克珠杰,根敦珠巴之类的大师,外加什么吉祥四瑞啊,八宝之类的,听了过会也就忘记了,还是看看景色吧,比如从寺庙的正门右边去看白塔,虽然是一个小坡,但却也有好些景色去拍去看呢。寺庙殿堂的大锁,和内地的是有不同啊。松赞林寺里面游人比较喜欢的一面大大的墙。松寺周围的小村远处的到底是个什么地方,要是我能有这里的房子就太好了,美景啊。某个大殿里面的大大的酥油灯香格里拉城里面有个小小的不收门票的烈士陵园,有时间的话应该去看看,解放中甸时候牺牲的战士,有好多墓碑上连名字也没有,我们去的时候好几个老外也在里面慢慢的看,不知道他们到底能看懂多少?路上见到的的土陶罐子,要是不是走那么长的路真该带一个回家呢。其实还没有出墨脱,或者是出了墨脱在八一的时候,我们6人就一直在讨论要在8264上发个“宏大”的帖子。但是我们到底是以什么样的立场去发这帖子我们一直有争论。一种说是要去有意的多害一些“无畏”的人去墨脱,把他们累个够惨。一种说要帮助更多的人知道怎样来墨脱和怎样开心的走完墨脱。其实在八一我们的结论是前者,甚至我像陈科大哥一看到他已经裂口的噢若卡的鞋子一定会依旧坚持前者说些不着边际的话来害人。但我现在还是把我们这次一些不能称其为经验而是教训的东西告诉大家吧。首先:关于《边防通行证》的问:我们是奥运期间到的墨脱,应该是检查边防证最严的时候,但我们六人里面只有小草,toby和我在我们自己的户口所在地办了边防证,其它三人都没有。陈科大哥用护照通过了;阿飞用单位证明原件通过了;小鱼在墨脱县派出所传真了户口所在地的户口证明和单位证明也过来了;在背崩的边防检查站人家解放军也说了用户口所在地的无罪证明原件或者复印件或者传真件都可以。墨脱没有复印店和传真机,要弄只有在县派出所去弄传真,但人家有点不乐意,呵呵。阿飞的单位证明大意如下:xx是我公司员工,于xx时间到西藏旅游,请各单位协助其办理西藏各地边防证……小鱼本来在80K就因为没有边防证而险些过不来,一直磨到给县派出所所长打电话说尽好话才给在墨脱弄传真过来,在背崩时候墨脱还打电话给背崩的派出所说要密切注意这个没有边防证的游客,真是给她几乎吓得半死。但我认为,为了避免到时候的担心,还是在自己家办好边防证或者带着护照好一些,人家检查的看这两样东西时间都很短,也就是说是最被认可的东西。在拉萨办理要100块,我们在拉萨听有人花了那么高的价钱办下来了,各位自己想一想是否划得着,即使可以最后退几十块钱。最起码我和小草的边防证办的时候就拿着身份证一分钱也没有要就办下来了,toby大哥在上海还弄了单位证明。还是把边防证的问说清楚吧。的确:现在去深圳,珠海等地方是不要边防证了,这也就是小鱼没有办到边防证的原因,那里的派出所已经快十年没有见过这东西了。但只有西藏和新疆的某些边境县要边防证,新疆的哪几个县我没研究过,但西藏的一些县要边防证,这主要是因为我们中学学过的所谓“麦克马洪线”的问,印度侵占的大片领土就与这一些县的县城很近,比如墨脱和察隅。办理边防证首先是国家的安全需要吧。论坛上有过西藏哪些地方要边防证的帖子了,大家自己搜一下,但办理边防证的时候,我们昆明的规矩是只能写三个县在边防证上,人家说了,把你去的终点县的名字写上,路过的没必要写。比如去墨脱就写墨脱,去察隅就写察隅,去阿里看玛旁雍错就写普兰县,去看古格遗迹就写扎达县,一路上去新疆就写日土县。实在地点很多就多开几张边防证。说没见过边防证的看看我出行前ps的这张PP吧。在中甸的香格里拉青旅的日子是愉悦和轻松的,白天睡到太阳出来,晚上和刚到的toby大哥开始喝酒,我觉得只是简单的青稞酒泡了点梅子,为什么我们同行的两位女生都会一个劲的大喝特喝,最后两位美丽的女生全喝醉了,但据说小草老大上一天就已经喝醉过一次了,陈科大哥不得不忍气吞声(其实是心里很高兴的吧)把小草抱上房间,扔下给她睡,自己再下来偷偷的喝酒。香格里拉青旅的酒坛就放在电视房里面,又不上锁,应该可以常常来喝一点。^_^在青旅的一角,架子上全是国内青旅的名片,大概有四五十家吧,我慢慢的找,竟然找到了好友老康在保山青旅的名片,顿时觉得这世界好小啊。2年前他们去了墨脱,现在我也要去了,却在这里看到了2年来他奋斗的痕迹,有趣得很呢。[ ]在香格里拉逛着,发现竟然也有昆明的烧饵块,还有夹着蔬菜的烧饵块,原来竟然没吃过,看起来也很干净,用个小盘拿着涂酱,我倒是建议吃甜酱,外地人比较容易接受。[ ]从中甸到波密,据说是2天一夜,又是一段无奈的大客车旅行,这几年在外面瞎跑,把我锻炼得竟然不会晕车了也算一个奇迹,但我们这次去车站卖票的就说了要准备十张身份证复印件,路上都要检查。但看着这几天连续不断的雨水,我真怀疑滇藏线又要塌方(最后的路线大出我们的预料)。要是在路上耽误一两天,弄得前不着村后不着店的就麻烦死了。阿飞他们已经买好了票,从中甸去拉萨的车,每三天发车一次。这次的车实在坐的太多,养成了一个坏毛病,上厕所随便路边上去解决,在这个岔路口,欣赏完了漂亮的陶器,就在人家房子背后解决问,一路也几乎是这样:男的车子左边,女的车子右边。不记得是小鱼和小草照了个什么好东西,好像是谁向谁献了一棵大大的狗尾巴花吧,小鱼就偷拍成功。后面是我们的领头大哥:toby!!一路都是立马下车第一个冲进饭店后厨点菜,而我们其它5人基本属于:“坐等吃”的舒服类型。我们买的车票是车子的倒数第二和第三排卧铺的下铺,一路上给toby和小草郁闷的是最后一排几位大哥的脚臭,就像小草说的,闻过臭的,没闻过那么臭的。最经典的是阿飞带了花露水,上车就把我们的被子一个一个全喷了一遍,但坐到第一天晚上,toby实在忍受不住了,拿了阿飞的花露水到最后一排的床铺上全喷了个遍,大叫实在忍受不住了,一直把头转了180度才说好些。一车上,脚臭,抽烟不停……全是煎熬啊。只要有机会就下车透气,坐司机的引擎盖上面,又暖和风景又好,还可以和司机聊些当地的风土,比如哪里的藏民村子有钱之类的。诱惑得我们一行的女士们见到村子就问那里的村长结婚了没有,有几个儿子,家里有多少头牦牛……小草的运气就是好,开着窗子透气避免闻脚臭都会有知了飞进怀中。前面这张pp是可以看看我们的床铺后面是这张pp是倒霉的知了,最后第二天被谁给压死了,在过道看见它扁扁的尸体!唉!本来以为我们会走滇藏线过奔子栏-盐井-芒康,但谁料滇藏已经塌方的不可救药了,只好绕道四川进去。香格里拉-得荣-巴塘-芒康,完全就是一个大圈圈嘛!得荣吃饭时见到的羞涩的藏香猪只要一有相机对准就跑开或扭头,但一收相机就欢快异常我喜欢收藏的东西,看着就好值钱,左贡一个老太太手上的。[ ]我本以为只有滇藏线会有连绵的群山,但芒康-八宿-左贡一线尽是那富有变化的群山,完全值得高兴的是,这些山包形态各异,都有无数的变化性,让人看个不厌。而这里群山间流淌的溪水也富有柔情。看山,不一定要雄壮的那种,不然的话太过于给人有压迫感同样,看山也不一定只能看那种秀丽的,不然的花太过于给人有局限感这一路的山脉却刚刚好,有着葱绿的树木,也有着寸草不生的荒凉。有着绕山而转的溪流,也有着连绵不绝的云和雾。一样的风景,要是换个角度再换个人,是不是会有不同呢?小草抓住这只可怜的知了之后,总是说自己是知了的妈 L 于是乎,拿自己的围巾包住了知了,名曰避免知了因为高山环境而被冷到于是,我怀疑知了的实际死因!我们第一次被检查身份证是在XX县的边界上有个很帅的兵哥哥被小草看上了,于是,小草以超慢的速度靠近了拿着枪的兵哥哥,说道:“这枪,我能摸摸吗?”得到允许后,摸了又摸,直到兵哥哥烦了,直接把枪扔给她去摸个够。但眼睛一直看着小草的右手!陈科大哥乘机靠近。混上了这张宝贵的照片。这时候,小草问我,拿枪怎么拿啊? L 左手拿着弹夹,右手欲拿扳机那里。这一问立马提醒了兵哥哥,以极快的速度抢过弹夹又才把枪扔给小草。这时候小鱼也慢慢凑上来,两位女士一个劲拉着兵哥哥要照相,人家无奈之下。。。[ ]羞涩的猪同样没有把正脸给小草但小草竟然说。。。。。。美女(左)与野兽 ;P道路漫漫我佩服骑车进藏的勇士这位老哥45了,从成都一个人骑来的。竟然不带睡袋,每天骑到差不多有人家就停下。而且不带锅和炉头。晚上才有热饭吃!巴塘镇路口检查的帅警察小草照他,而他竟然叫小草留下电话有空联系联系,呵呵从巴塘上来了一群藏族美女,据说是去山里面拣蘑菇的。^_^哈哈完全就是拣蘑菇小姑娘的现代版嘛小草和小鱼一个劲问人家村子的具体情况:村长几岁?有几个儿子?村长家牦牛有几头?把人家问了个高兴,分别把自己项链上的绿松石给了她们一人一颗。而这群姑娘几乎都叫“卓玛”,于是,小鱼给自己起名叫“金珠卓玛”而小草的卓玛太难记,于是,我们以后就把她叫做"玉盆卓玛"可爱的金珠卓玛脖子上就是刚得到的绿松石!(口水ing)本次班车的帅司机,只有26岁哦。[ ]左贡出去是美丽的山,山间有潺潺的溪流,而这些溪流都只有一个归宿---伟大的怒江!路边的小溪的确是提神的好东西,连续2晚上没有刷牙洗脸,用小溪的水对付一下也不错。在八宿,刚才我们还说川藏南线慢慢的路况越来越好了,比得上青藏线了,这路立马来了个大变脸,不知道哪里修路,把路挖了好深。于是,我们很高兴的下车拍照,其实心里面都但愿多修一会,省的上车也无聊。因为小草和toby最喜欢停车了,一下车,空气都那么清新![ ]([]
秦岭九日 你在我的来路与去路之间耸起 我便消遁 我便诞生 ————记 行程:4.2423时 徐州坐火车去西安4.25 西安 周至 厚畛子 老县城4.26 都督门 太白庙 灵官台 老庙子4.27 将军庙 万仙阵 跑马梁 大爷海4.28 拔仙台 二爷海 三爷海 玉皇池 南天门 铁甲树周至腐败4.29 西安休整4.30 西安 眉县 太白县 黄柏塬 核桃坪5.1 核桃坪穿越至老县城 腐败5.2 老县城返回核桃坪 二郎坝 华阳古镇 洋县 西安5.3 西安腐败 回徐州 论坛里大把的攻略 不再赘述 D1 呕像了不是哥的错 自古男人与美女的惺惺相惜,离不开美酒,所谓 “酒是色媒人” 。 酒是个好东西,增美人天色,壮英雄虎胆。贵妃醉酒醉出个 “三千宠爱在一身”,卓文君当垆卖酒卖出个千古佳话;曹孟德把酒临江,横槊赋诗,破荆州,下江陵,逞一世之枭雄;李太白斗酒诗百篇,“天子呼来不上船”,何等快活畅意! 男儿本自重横行,无酒不乐!无酒不欢! 列车还没驶离徐州,无极便从90升的大包里掏出了一瓶芝华士。 拧亮营地灯,在上铺旅客诧异的眼神中拿出各种家什。 精细的玻璃茶盏盛满了这种芬芳馥郁的液体,鼻翼翕动,柠檬朗姆酒和可乐调和出的小小的泡沫带着狡黠噼噼啪啪泛开,只一刻,便牵动了侠骨柔肠。 ECHO倒了一杯纯的,她说,我喜欢喝纯的。 是的,酒如人生,喜欢饮纯酒的女孩必定喜欢人性简单纯粹的狂烈与奔放,只是人生太复杂,醇烈爽则爽矣,有了足够的历练才可以坦然承受。 给上铺的旅客道了打搅和歉意,我们细细碎碎的说起有趣的过往。 哪些山留下过脚印,哪座峰留下过遗憾,哪个男孩在ECHO抽筋时替她背包喂水成为了她的“奶爸”,哪一个难点恐高的无极抱石裹足得名“顾抱抱”…… 熏然的夜风带着田野的气息钻进车厢连接处的缝隙不时从我们身边掠过,不知不觉一瓶酒已经见底。 ECHO忽然直起身子,我想吐! 据说治愈一个女人失恋的良药是另一个男人,以此类推,治愈美女醉酒的方子当然是再喝上几口美酒。 无极扶着ECHO盥洗室进进出出,ECHO说,没事,我只是胃浅。言下之意这瓶芝华士只是浅浅的在她胃里打了个酒底,真是年轻无极限。 我开始在列车上找啤酒,无奈月黑风高,抢钱的列车大盗熬不过我们也打烊了,郑州站还有近两个小时车程,估计熬不到那个时候酒老爷就会催着我们去找周公。 我背包里还有一瓶龙舌兰,是留着太白山享用的,我可不准备暴殄天物。 一不小心,我沦为ECHO此行的第一个呕像。 一夜无话,三秦大地在铁轨下延伸。 时光就像奔驰的列车,是个无情的机器,碾过帝阙的巍峨,碾过后宫的奢靡,碾过封疆裂土的荣耀,碾过草莽英雄的头颅和绝代佳人的娇躯。 正是那曲《山坡羊》: 峰峦如聚,波涛如怒, 山河表里潼关路。 望西都,意踌躇。 伤心秦汉经行处, 宫阙万间都做了土。 …… 惟余莽苍秦岭,笑看沧桑,展开一条绵亘的中华龙脊。 西安,背包下车,直捣大姐夫高太尉在省体育场朱雀网球中心的据点。 闭关西安数月苦练龟息大法的太尉带着灿烂的笑容接客,亲爱的哥哥,我可想死你了! 灼灼的目光却射向我身后的ECHO。 泡茶,新下的西湖龙井,色绿香郁味甘形却不美,一如太尉本人。 男人的相知,尤其是成年男人,很省事,呼朋引类,直奔酒桌。 ——吃啥? ——水盆就行。 ——那我多没面子,吃点好的! 拗不过太尉进了饭店的包厢,很丰盛,吃着北方的馆子炒的不算地道南方菜,感念太尉亡我之心不死之余,越来越想念去年那个傍晚路边可以看见美女过往的水盆。 成打的汉斯干啤一瓶一瓶被消灭,ECHO和太尉甚是投机,频频眉目传情交杯换盏,我忙于包厢卫生间穿梭往来折腾我的肾结石。 酒酣情浓,天南海北的嵌着手机键盘打电话,木木、懒猫、笑脸、云起、小样、泊远、醉翁大哥逐个骚扰一遍。 席间太尉联系好了车辆,踉踉跄跄回到太尉办公室,晕晕乎乎的打包,把鱼儿买给太尉的15包小米煎饼一股脑全塞进几个人的包里,结果太白穿越下来还剩10包没有吃完,杯具! 又发现调酒的柠檬没买,加之吃碗水盆羊肉泡的念想挥之不去,我又下去吃了一大碗羊肉泡,买了两个香瓜和俩柠檬,车已经到了。 真是低估了汉斯啤酒的脾气,六七瓶已经让我睡了一路。 清醒时已经又换了一辆小面包车,在开往厚畛子的路上。口干舌燥,用拳头砸开香瓜狼吞虎咽,太尉甚至不知道我买了香瓜。看着身旁的无极流露出欣羡之色,顺手分给他一小半。 还是焦渴难耐,想念冰凉软滑的雪糕,狂喊雪糕雪糕。 挨到厚畛子的商店,一口气消灭了五只,又狂饮了半瓶尖叫,方才止渴。 舒舒服服的和ECHO太尉调侃,暮色渐沉,山路颠簸起伏,通往老县城的好几处路面没在溪水下面。 太尉数次下车,几处看见塌方,司机小心翼翼的绕行。 ECHO急喊停车,下车半天不见回来,朦朦胧胧看见娇小的身躯起起伏伏,派太尉去侦查,见太尉伸出巨灵掌轻拍丫头的后背。 呕像了,不是哥的错! 晚9点到了老县城边缘的接待站。 EHCO很诧异农家的烤饼居然用的是电饼铛,香香脆脆的煞是诱人。喝不动酒了,就拿杂粮稀饭撒气,美美的喝了几大碗。一盘木耳鸡蛋,一盘香椿,一盘蒜苗腊肉,一盘野菜,山村野蔬,倒也齿颊生香,补充个神完气足。 薄薄的雾气弥漫上来,掩不住秦岭大梁上点点的星光,稍微有些寒意。农家的老奶奶邀我们去火炕旁烤火,搬几个条凳围着山墙坐下,给火堆里添几根柴,见老奶奶拿着铜烟袋锅,我便奉献出我带的手卷烟丝,刺啦燃上,一锅烟拉近了距离。 ECHO摇头晃脑一遍一遍学着太尉的陕西话,美——滴——很,美——滴——很!全得念去声。 睡前无极的这身速干衣裤赢得了满堂彩,活脱脱一个登山版超人! ECHO几乎笑岔了气。 讨论了一下睡觉的座次问,再研究一下谁的脚最臭谁的呼噜最响。安全起见,三个男人呈品字型把ECHO围在了中央。 ECHO打电话回家报平安,太尉面授机宜,别说有一群狼,就说只有一只狼……D2 因为你的眼 不要 再编织美丽的哀愁 不要 再寻找牵强的借口 因为你的眼 哦 因为你的眼 早已说明 早已说明 ……([]

美好的事物会时常穿越时间和空间,在不同人的口中传诵。当遇到懂得欣赏它的人,就会迸发出希望和欲望之火。一次次激发你,向往着要去---亲身经历,要去---感同身受......... 最初了解尼泊尔是在本论坛看了“水哥”写的《一场华美的雪山盛宴----安纳普尔纳大环线》那是一篇很棒的帖子,感觉这正是我想要的旅行方式。梦见的人,醒来就要去见她!渴望亲身经历的旅行和风景也应该这样,说走就走,不留遗憾!感谢上帝!感谢大家的帮助、关心、理解与支持。使我能感受尼国的王宫建筑和国家公园,饱览喜马拉雅山脉的壮阔美景,实现梦想,满意而归。下面和大家分享一下我的经历与感受。(另,地理及人文知识了解还不够深,当时没做记录,时隔近一年。很多地方会有遗漏和偏差,敬请谅解)。一、奇特旺国家公园,兰毗尼。1楼---38楼二、博卡拉,滑翔伞。63楼---89楼三、加德满都、巴德岗、博达哈。90楼---132楼四、安纳普尔纳大环线徒步。133楼-----686楼 一、奇特旺国家公园,兰毗尼。 樟木过境包车到加德满都的泰米尔区,在来时拼车的几位朋友中有人提议大家组团在加都包车选几个景点,再请一位导游一起玩。这对不懂英文的我来说是个好主意,修改原计划(到尼泊尔直接徒步安娜大环线)入团。在此的别感谢冰冰姐! 边境去加都的路上,车开出不远就听见前方有惨叫声在山谷中回荡,原来是极限蹦极(在垂直160米高的吊桥中间跳)。车内大家都相互鼓励、说服对方去跳,就是没人敢行动。哈哈泰米尔住宿客栈国际惯例-----------炫富!皇家奇特旺国家公园客栈,环境不错,有的客栈自己养大象。到这里主要是骑大象游览公园观看犀牛、鹿、还有老虎,当天只隐约看到了鹿群。大象绝对是吃货类,只要有机会停下鼻子就不停的抅东西吃。这货,吃草挺有意思,用鼻子卷起嫩草连根拔起,然后在抬起的一只前腿上反复的抽掉泥土,弄干净后才放入嘴里。在奇特旺的纳拉亚尼河畔欣赏日落也是一件快事。塔鲁舞(Tharu Dance)的民间歌舞表演。独角犀牛,这里是珍稀的印度犀牛最后的保护地之一,但2005年根据统计,只有372头(百度)。大象(公的),没有母象温顺,主要是从事体力劳动。独木舟---主要是看鳄鱼和水鸟。蚁穴,大的高近两米。 成年大象憨态可掬,年幼的小象就更有意思。站都站不稳就跑过来嬉戏找吃的。吃饱睡。大象也有双胞胎。([]
一个的人旅行时间于2013年10月28日开始。时间共半月之久!哈巴是此行的第二站!我会慢慢的把其他徒步之行发上来!(雨崩-哈巴雪山-虎跳峡-尼汝)。此行起初是因为工作的不顺心。攻略做的是一个星期。但是因一个朋友的劝说,既然出去就好好的走走。后改为15天之行!很多人担心我一个路痴的一个人之行。不报团,不和他人结伴!我只想锻炼自己。只想让自己成熟点!一路上很多人会打来电话慰问情况,感谢朋友门的关心!这次在路上把自己丢过几次。但是更高兴的是没有其他任何不好的事情发生!四座山是连续攀登。预算好时间,并要把每座山的距离坐车时间掌握好,爬完一座就要赶往下一座山!甚至一天就只进食一次!每天徒步时间约8-10小时!庆幸自己一路身体状况都还好,主要是没有浮肿和头疼疲惫的现象!半月之行让我学到很多!出发的前两天无意看到了哈巴雪山的游记,把所有的攻略都打乱了,更打乱了我的心。哈巴雪山 海拔5396米 。属于5000米以上入门级的雪山。对于我,没有太多登山经验的驴,是一种自我考验,但是往往诱惑大于一切。在蚂蜂窝搜了很多却找不到任何攻略,不断的寻觅找到了一个名叫好四哈巴村人。这是唯一一次没有任何忧郁的去给一个人打电话。自己忘记了到底问了什么,只是加强肯定了去的心,同时知道了尼汝这个神秘的地方(后面的游记会续尼汝之徒步)。武洋(公瑾网名)是在哈巴雪山群认识的。他告诉了我去的线路,并帮我联系了从香格里拉到哈巴村的班车。每天下午一点从香格里拉到哈巴村。车程约4-5小时,全程环山路,(晕车的人完全受不了)。大家还可以包车,他们可以从丽江接大家到哈巴村,包车费400元。人多比较划算。省时省力省钱。好四(高山向导):13988848381香格里拉-白水台-哈巴:李顺明 13578475501(司机)11-01飞来寺-香格里拉-哈巴村-哈巴雪山从尼农村07:00到停车场07:35急急忙忙的坐车到了飞来寺,(尼农-飞来寺,包车150元)。到飞来寺很多拉人的面包车去香格里拉。每人80元。09:10飞来寺-13:05香格里拉客运站吃了一份素菜米线9元,待司机来接飞来寺至香格里拉一路美景 好心司机帮照的,本人为了户外徒步专门买的型号诺基亚920手机!几乎所有徒步相片都出自我的爱机! 香格里拉-哈巴村-哈巴雪山 第一次户外给自己找了一个向导,在哈巴村得知,我的向导已在大本营,我需要一个人或者跟随马夫到大本营。无奈。所有的无奈都在到达哈巴时候发生了,连续几天的喷嚏在哈巴村变成了感冒,巴金(好四户外一员)不建议我上山,因为感冒容易在高海拔肺气肿死亡。我不甘心,给自己煮了姜汤红糖水。希望第二天能够好起来。11-02感冒貌似没有加重,也没有减轻。轻装上阵。09:20哈巴村出发10:10第一大草坪11:01到第二草坪11:25到第三草坪11:55开始路面见雪13:20到达大本营(海拔4100米) 在第一草坪马夫休息,独自一人继续前进 上面的是到达第二草坪! 经过这小屋我选择了像左走,那里的人走的痕迹留下了一条小路,可是走着走着。发现我的判断是错误的,因为在很远处被一棵大树拦住了。我就想自己走错了路,折回寻找正确路段 开始见雪的路面,到达大本营的一路,遇见了三拨人,是在我到哈巴村的当天登山的人。这些人因为山顶风大无法登顶,只登到海拔4700米下撤。 孤苦伶仃一人。终于到达大本营。看见的第一人。他正拿着氧气瓶。慢慢的品味着。(向导说。氧气能不用就不要去用,因为会依赖),我的氧气瓶,在上山时候忘在了好四家。还好路上只是轻微的气喘,坚持到了大本营。 下午身体适应海拔需要住在大本营不能登顶。身体的乏累下午3点就去睡了,在过程中。向导阿四(不是好四)和大本营大叔进来叫过我两次,因担心怕我会休克过去,直到我应声才离开。原定第二天凌晨三点起床,可是外面的风凛冽的刮着。让人不忍心起床。心中漠然的想起了一句老话,懒汉听风,越听越凶。就这样一直到六点半也没有听见外面的风停。心中不甘。难道就要这样下撤。起床转了一圈。风一阵阵的刮过。在临近七点。风小了。不甘心的我去把阿四喊起来让他带我上山。他竟然也感冒了。鼻涕抽搐着。我抓狂。整个大本营四人。大叔,小赵,向导,还有一个我。他们三个对我很好。因为我吃素。还特别照料我的吃饭。阿四身体真好。吃了早饭和药竟然就好了。清晨的美景看着好美的云,事实它预示着山顶的风是没有停歇的。 11-0308:20出发—13:40下撤到大本营(未登顶,至海拔5100米,因山顶起风太大无法前行) 开始呼吸困难,阿四教我如何的去走每一步,忽然发现爬山再强悍的人,在雪山就是一个婴儿,要重新学会走路和呼吸,慢慢的不再让我感觉害怕呼吸不动的恐惧。阿四说话,我只能点头或摇头的应答。他竟然在我呼吸困难的时候大声的唱起了歌。真是什么事都有。真心的感谢阿四。一路给我讲故事。 当我适应了后,开心的加大了脚步,可又被现实的雪山打回。好吧。安份的攀爬。 山顶的风,越来越大,看着却又像美丽的云。那么美呢。 这位就是我的向导!在我高反喘不动气的时候他在唱高原歌。差别太大了!后面是云加风的自然风光 一对一的向导真好,有人照相,享受VIP。 到达海拔5100米。眼看着绝望坡。阿四死活不准备带我继续前进。风大,山顶又是悬崖。所以我听从了阿四,知足的在海拔5100米驻足,留影下撤。 第一次的雪山给我最多的是让自己深思自己的生命。在太白从山上滚下去的时候都不曾有过的恐怖。却在我高反无法呼吸的时候深刻的体会那种无法让自己呼吸下一口气的恐惧!步伐要根据自己的呼吸做调整。心里一直告诉自己的就是,家里放心的让我出来。那么我就要让他们放心的看到我回去。去想很多很多生命中的一切。这就是大自然带给人的奇迹。也是多少人不曾恐惧死亡。无数次的去探索自然。因为它敲醒了太多人的内心! 向导是个很善良的人。尽心并认真负责的让他带领的人都能安全上山与下山!谢谢。阿四! 大本营的大叔,因为我和他的女儿一样大。他一直喊干女儿,我不敢应声,临走,说了一句,干爹我会再来的,他高兴的笑了。 小赵,我,阿四(可耐向导),在这个大本营并不无聊,因为有你们在,认识你们很高兴。 吃过午饭,下午15:45大本营下撤—18:20哈巴村下山呼吸冲刷着喉咙,喉咙难受的要死,阿四一路带小路下行。到哈巴村的时候。说话的声音都变了!哈巴村,哈巴雪山,就这样的又告一段落。下一站虎跳峡,我来了。。。每一座山的攀爬挑战的不是山,而是自我,大自然你永远无法预测,无法挑战,爬与不爬它易在那。生活即是如此。勇敢的走出每一步,完成我们需要完成的旅程,因为踏出那一步易无法回头。 一个的人旅行时间于2013年10月28日开始。时间共半月之久!哈巴是此行的第二站!我会慢慢的把其他徒步之行发上来!(雨崩-哈巴雪山-虎跳峡-尼汝-束河古镇-丽江)。此行起初是因为工作的不顺心。攻略做的是一个星期。但是因一个朋友的劝说,既然出去就好好的走走。后改为15天之行!很多人担心我一个路痴的一个人之行。不报团,不和他人结伴!我只想锻炼自己。只想让自己成熟点!一路上很多人会打来电话慰问情况,感谢朋友门的关心!这次在路上把自己丢过几次。但是更高兴的是没有其他任何不好的事情发生!四座山是连续攀登。预算好时间,并要把每座山的距离坐车时间掌握好,爬完一座就要赶往下一座山!甚至一天就只进食一次!每天徒步时间约8-10小时!庆幸自己一路身体状况都还好,主要是没有浮肿和头疼疲惫的现象!半月之行让我学到很多!原本简单的一次散心,却成了一次长期云南徒步之旅。28岁,给自己青春的尾巴一份礼物。一个人去面对,去思考,去承受。大自然给予的一切直接明了。全身心的投入在自然的每一分钟。只属于自己一个人的大自然。一路上的不懂要问(司机,客栈老板)。脸皮要厚的讲价,因为腰包承受不住那漫天要价。各种愉快,不给自己任何烦恼。雨崩爱她 带她去雨崩 恨她 带她去雨崩 天堂与地狱相结合的地方。我爱自己又恨自己。所以我带自己去了这个地方真正让我感觉地狱的是看似不难却又让人无奈的攀爬和那沉重的背包,累的几乎想丢掉。当放下所有负重去享受那自然时,一切又犹如那天堂般。大自然的神奇,总是让人叹为观止。10月28青岛-昆明 07:40-12:35 596元 3.2折13:25 昆明机场乘坐1号线班车前往西部客运站(25元,无直达,需到达小西门可再乘坐82路车)14:06到达小西门,因下雨,拼车15元继续西部客运站。昆明-德钦县 (昆明西部客运站-德钦县城,每天一班车,19:00,267元)10月2916:10到达德钦县德钦县包车至飞来寺(因为一人无拼车,30元)到飞来寺入住正宗川菜馆,间100元,可直观日照金山。到达昆明机场,发现下雨了 (昆明-德钦县)随着车子的前进,车内温度开始降低,卧巴的被子不忍盖在身上。有点味道有点潮湿,只好全部挡在车窗上防风。因为下雪了,行进山路车子速度减慢,临近下午三点,开始轻微的有高反,头疼,呼吸有些困难,身体的脆弱,无法与大自然抗衡,只能顺从,慢慢调整呼吸。(后来得知,高反的地方是垭口海拔4200米最高地)。乘坐昆明到德钦县班车的一路风景(在车窗上抓拍的) 到达飞来寺,简单的收拾了一下背包。吃了一份蛋炒饭和一份素菜烫共22元,补充能量,出去小转了一下。买了一瓶氧气罐25元,因一人,所以做好万全准备。 10-30 07:30准时开始日照,神奇的竟然烟消云散看到日照金山。(听说8-9月的日照金山会更黄,更美),起床发现头疼消失,让我心理很是开心,减少了对行程中对身体的担心。 ([]
